Great beach and the see was agitated. It was perfect!
Nice beach but not one to visit on a windy day - red flag was up all day when we visited and lifeguards not letting anyone in the water - they said had been the same the day before as well.
(Translated by Google) What struck us about this small village and its cove is that it seems like a place that is truly very, very far from the frenzy of Palma. It's like being on another island. The beach is small and partially equipped. You can also rent pedal boats, kayaks and SUPs. The peculiarity is that after descending deep, it rises up to the ankles, thanks to some rocks. You can do some nice swimming and snorkeling.
(Translated by Google) Small but beautiful cove with stones/pebbles and thick sand, with crystal clear and turquoise waters. It is definitely advisable to bring shoes so that the stones do not bother you (type slippers) and diving goggles if you want to see the beautiful seabed. There is free parking nearby. In the afternoon it is usually quieter than in the morning.
(Translated by Google) We made a stop in the urban center of Cala San Vicen¢, which has three small coves and one of them is Cala Barques, it is a cove or small stone beach with some areas of sand, with transparent and calm waters. Its dimensions are small but the views are magnificent, an ideal area for snorkeling and due to the proximity of the rocks it can be used as a springboard to jump into the water from them. (Translated by Google) Fantastic bay with crystal clear turquoise water. We were there in high season and always found a spot. Lots of fish, great for snorkeling. Bathing shoes are strongly recommended, the entrance is rocky and a little further in the water you will come across some sea urchins.

It was my first scuba diving experience and i completely fell in love with it. Nice people. Definitely recommend it. I hope to come back to finish or enlarge OWD licence :)
Awesome friendly stuff, great scooba diving spots recommendation. Totally gonna stop by at least one more time during vacation.
My friend and I went on the snorkelling tour with Stephan whilst staying in Cala Sant Vicentè. It was a great experience, amazing views, sights and sea life that we didn't realise we're so close to where we were staying! Everything was included and we got some fantastic action shots along the way :) Highly recommend to anyone staying in the North of the island area and it was lovely to support local business! :D
Im writing these review, because the world deserves to know how bad realy this company is. I have booked a diving for the my familiy, 2 certified divers + 2 noncertified divers – KIDS age 8 & 10. Since the weather was bad that week we need to postponed diving for a few days. Then finaly they said we can come but we need to drive to another location. No problem for us, since we had our own car available. We drove 35min to another location & then SHOCK!!! They had a full van of scuba gear & equipment but nothing for kid, hm... How come, since we postponed diving 3 times & we visit the shop 3 times & they saw my kids 3 times… and after all that!?!?!? THEY DONT HAVE A PROPER DIVING GEAR FOR KIDS. Then they recomended, if the kids should only swim on surface and breath with regulator…. Oh, come on we booked and payed SCUBA diving not snorkeling with SCUBA gear. How stupid do you think we are!?!? Instructor was helpful & was trying to help us out with renting gear from another DC but after 1h calling, no luck. Instructor explained & showed us in what kind of conditions he need to work & with what kind of equipment. Once we realised there will be no diving for us & my kids, my kids starts crying like crazy… My kids could not wait any more to go and try diving that day, they where so happy in the morning when they woke up. HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN TO YOUR KID, THAT HE CAN NOT DIVE BECAUSE THE WHOLE BOOKING WAS A SCAM. As long as you pay them is OK, but when you want what you pay – you dont get that & THE PRICE WAS NOT SMALL AT ALL. I drove back with my kids & I confronted the owner with thruth… He was just trying to found excuse after excuse… bla bla bla…. Trying to sell me s**t again and again!!! When I demanded money back for the service we never recived, he was am… hm… but… no…. There is no refound… I told him I will go to police & report him to inspection – he finaly returned the money. COMPANYS LIKE THAT SHOULD BE CLOSED FOR EVER, MAKEING MONEY WHILE PUTTING MY FAMILY AND KIDS INTO DANGER IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR ME!!!! DO NOT RECOMEND TO USE THIS COMPANY - AVOID IT BIG TIME!!!
It was my first scuba dive in June 2014, as I was nervous and scared Stefan took lots of time for me and explained everything in detail from how to use the equipment and what to expect underwater. He was always next to me under water and captured an amazing video :)
Great first dive experience for four 8-10 year old Boys. We must say that Stephan had the patience of a saint! Wonderful seeing the grins on their faces at the end.
Friendly service, quality bikes to rent and no stress approach all a perfect fit for the location and what you are looking for when you are enjoying Majorca! Highly recommend place. Jacek
Excellent for my first diving, team cool and flexible because I was sick for the first appointement! The place is very nice and beautiful! Thanks you! 😉👍🏻☝🏻👌🏻

Loved it so much we went twice! Samuel was a great captain, took us to all the best spots.
If you’re searching for a perfect way to see Mallorca and enjoy the crystal clear water don’t look any further - La Cala Boat Tours with Samuel is the very best experience we could have ever imagined. From enjoying time boating, to swimming in various calas across the northeast coast of the island, to simply soaking in the sun and incredible views Oceanside and finally swimming in underwater caves we could not have asked for a more enjoyable full day on the water. His tours are not to be beat!
Simply the best way to see the North of Mallorca!! Sam is the best guide and a great guy who is such a pleasure to spend time with!! We have been out with him more times than I can remember and booking a trip with him is an absolute must!! You will see things they are simply not possible without his knowledge.... and he has managed to find us something new each time we go out
Quite possibly the best boat tour I have ever been on. Sam is such a great captain, guide and host. And the value of his tour is amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get on the water in the most spectacular place in Mallorca, away from all the crowds. What a magical day of pure serenity on the water.
I could not recommend La Cala Boat Tours more! The unique experience of a smaller boat and the hospitality of Sam and his team made for a perfect afternoon. The guides were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and so friendly. We immediately felt comfortable on board and loved getting to learn more about the area in between stops along the coast for swimming. All of the stop locations were absolutely gorgeous! There were some goggles and snorkels available to share as well as drinks and local food. A fantastic option for enjoying the beauty of Majorca!
We did a half day private boat tour from Cala San Vicenc, 4 adults & 3 teenagers, exploring the coast in both directions. Sam was an excellent guide - friendly, good humoured, very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the area (history, coastline, culture, food, wildlife...), tailoring the tour to our interests. Loved the snorkeling spots, including the Blue Cave, and the delicious Pa Amb Oli lunch. A highlight of our holiday. Thank you, Sam! PS Don't go looking (like we did) for a La Cala Boat Tours office in Cala San Vicenc where the pin is shown on Google Maps - there isn't one! Contact via the website or telephone.
Fabulous day! The amazing scenery and experiences was matched equally by the captain who put his heart and soul into our trip. He took us to beautiful places we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise and planned a delicious local Majorcan lunch aboard for us all. Safe and attentive throughout, especially during cliff jumping and by catching jellyfish before we entered the water. Would recommend absolutely, couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend a Monday morning! We will be back.
Brilliant boat tour with Sam. I highly recommend this tour. Sam is a great host and you can snorkel, cliff jump and see the spectacular coastline of North Mallorca. The blue grotto is beautiful and the mermaids lake a very special place ! You also get a lovely lunch. Thank you Sam.

Great place for kids as beach is nice & quiet. It’s mix of rocky and sand. Access isn’t wheelchair friendly.
Visited 13/10/2024 Sunny Sunday Afternoon. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience A beautiful small beach with several restaurant option in the area. There are some resort hotel and accomodation in the area. This place is frequent by tourist maybe because of the accessibility and eatery options Follow us for a gastronomic experience and discover the world finest in its purest form
There are almost no waves, so it's a safe beach for families with children, but it can be a bit noisy due to the large number of small children. It may not be a good place for couples to relax. Recommended for snorkeling. However, there are many rocks and stones, so be careful not to get hurt. There are no showers nearby.
This small beach is amazing. Be aware of stones, I would suggest you have specific shoes and an umbrella, and try to get there before 9:30 am if you want to stay longer. Enjoy the views!!!
Excellent beach, quite shallow and very sheltered so good for kids, was plenty of jellyfish when we were there but didn't stop swimming. There's three beaches in the same area so you can switch it around quite easily
A small sandy beach located near three others. The water is very clean and calm, and you can easily choose between any of the nearby beaches. What I liked most was that, unlike Formentor Beach, I didn’t see large buses full of tourists crowding the area.
Beautiful cove beach with crystal clear turquoise water. Lovely spot. It is stoney getting into the sea.
Wonderful place for sunbathing and swimming (snorkeling)! Real blue water, clean beach. I highly recommend this place when you visit Mallorca. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets!
