Amazing course and great value. I really can’t rate this place high enough, course is fantastic and a credit to the green keeper(s). Some spectacular holes and the lift from the 17th green to the 18th tee box is pretty cool. We have played here twice now and will definitely be back. Also food in the clubhouse afterwards is always great, I’ve had fish and chips and the burger and both were beautiful. At €40 for an open it’s well worth the money.
Absolutely splendid parkland golf course. Wonderfully maintained, lush grass and true rolling greens. Beautiful layout. Fairways are a touch wide, feels like cheating! They could tighten it up a bit but they seem concerned about pace of play. 2 of us with a buggy played in 3 hours 15 playing fairly slowly. So it's not an issue, at least on weekdays. Unique clubhouse, quality buggies and good staff. We'd definitely play Bunclody again.
What a course everything perfect. Tee boxes very well maintained greens in immaculate order and course looking fab. It's a real challenge for golfers. The club house was great with lovely attentive staff and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it as a place to go for food golf and a drink.
Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club is an absolute treat and not just for golfers. The setting is stunning, the welcome is warm and the food is nothing short of delicious. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into it. Proper cooking done right. Whether it’s a hearty carvery, a light bite, or something a little fancier, it’s always spot on. And the portions? Generous without being over the top. Add to that the atmosphere its bright, friendly, and relaxed and you’ve got the perfect spot for a meal, whether you’re finishing a round of golf or just calling in for the food alone (which is well worth it!). Top-class food, stunning views, and service that makes you feel right at home Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club nails it every time.
Beautiful woodlands golf club, worth the 90m drive from Dublin. Will play again. Distances at this course are poorly marked, so it's important to have a range finder or GPS ( I have neither and it was actually fun estimating my own distances ). The golf buggies do not come equipped with GPS.
Fabulous course. Stretching, tricky holes in great condition. Really tests your game. Thoroughly enjoyed my golf and will visit again. .My only graw is that the holes are not marked.... hard to find your way round
The golf course at Bunclody is magnificent, especially the last 5 holes. The condition of the course is fantastic. The clubhouse is a beautiful cranóg style with a thatched roof. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend a visit for any golf society.
Amazing golf course, beautifully maintained, and great value. The club house serves a great variety of food and drinks before or after the golf.

Lovely friendly local pub.
Amazing pub! We popped in for a quick pint of the black stuff as we just arrived for Xmas with family from overseas. Went to pay and the landlord refused to take any money and wished us a merry Christmas. Thanks for making our Christmas eve such a wonderful experience!!
Simply the best pint of Guinness in the town. If you like a spot to have a pint, chat and enjoy the odd horse race, get into Redmonds 👌
Visited here for a couple of drinks and found the Guinness to be one of the best in the area 🙌 😀
A grand family business. It has always had a great local feel to the bar and lounge areas. With a betting office and shop part of the family businesses beside the public house it attracts a good trade..
If your looking for a piece of ireland at its best come on in. Service , interaction with customers and a very warm welcome redmonds has it in abundance.
This is really an authentic little pub with true "Irish" feel. You meet the most genuine folks who always meet you with a smile and are ready to share the local history with you.

Stopped of a journey always wanted to try this place out well worth the visit Food was lovely fresh and hot Girls was friendly and helpful No complaints
This place came recommended to us by our B&B host. Very friendly service. Good selection on the menu.
Went to this restaurant as have been to others in other locations. Arrived just before 7, had to look for menus. 15 min later another customer brought it to their attention we wanted to order. Finally placed drinks and food order at 7.15. Drinks too 10 min to come out, food never arrived. Left after 40 min. Tables seated after us had ordered and received food and no sign of our food. Very very poor service. When I complained I was told they were busy but as I looked around several tables arriving after us had been served food so that's a poor excuse. Very disappointed
Beautiful place, lovely food and great service. Honestly after having a bad experience in a different restaurant recently, they did everything right. 2 dinners for a cool €27.90, can't wait to be back
Had lunch there today , really enjoyed it, great atmosphere. The people working there are very nice especially the young girl who said I was young 😭, she might need an eye test. Certainly will be returning.
Travelled 40mins to get here and then told upon arrival that they were fully booked. Private function labelled on door. If you are closing you're doors to public due to private function atleast have you're trading hours updated and don't be waisting families travelling for nothing and waisting their time
We stopped in for desert and coffee on a Sunday afternoon and were very pleasantly surprised. The food and coffee were great, I recommended the lemon tart with ice cream. It’s Covid19 compliant. The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The place is clean and the decor is warm. It looks like the best seating overlooks a river and hence the name. Recommended.
Got a takeout from here.It was fresh and piping hot and very tasty.I suggest you ring in your order first, and there's a bit of a wait.

Fun and Alive with great art I got this fab painting Love it
John is an amazing guy who runs this Gallery. Giving new artists a foot in the door. A variety of art on display. Definitely worth a visit.
Go grab a bargain! Of course, I'm going to be bias because the ARTBANK Bunclody have hung a few of my digital paintings and I helped them set up their web presence. But their membership and commission rates are very low for what they offer local artists in exposure and the ARTBANK seem keen to take on exhibitions. (They are a non-profit and volunteer organisation - incredible for the service they deliver!) I know they run a number of workshops during the week too, and from what I've seen on Facebook they do a sterling job of them. The ARTBANK's aim seems modest: to promote creativity. But most of all they need our support to continue to build their footprint for the creatives of Wexford, Wicklow, Kilkenny and Carlow. Pop by - take a seat - take a look and have a chat. They're a friendly bunch. There are many stunning creative works in the gallery - and not all of them are paintings; hand painted and printed postcards, celebration cards, wood turning, carving, sculptures, jewellery, candles...they've got the lot if you are stuck for ideas for presents? I saw items range from €1 to near €3,000 and there's an online store opening soon, too. The ARTBANK is buzzing!
Great night in Artbank Bunclody. wonderful talent, music, song, dance and storytelling, with a lovely atmosphere a big thank you to all.
Yes very good and amazing art 🎨
ArtBank is an inspirational Gallery, with a diverse display of Art work. Very friendly and helpful staff Well worth travelling to Bunclody for a visit.
Very rude and told me my art is terrible and I will never have a good future

A wonderful garden in a stunning setting, full of the most beautiful plants including a huge collection of choice, rare and unusual specimens. Absolutely stunning garden to see, I've never seen such a large variety of well grown plants! Rachel was very warm and welcoming, answered all the questions we had! Definitely going to visit again 😊
Stunning garden, vibrant with life and a beautiful way to spend an afternoon.
