I had a blast at the brewery. Not only is the beer excellent, but the owner is a real storyteller and it's been a pleasure listening to the story of the brewery. Being German, I must say the brewers definitely understand their art! Can absolutely recommend!
Visited the Whitefield Brewery last week with friends. Cuilan who is a natural storyteller gave us a full history of how he became a brewer and created his Brewery. Very entertaining. The beer is excellent, with regular new flavours being added to the range. I would highly recommend it, beer and visit.
Arranged a visit in advance with some friends when travelling in Ireland as we‘ve all been a fan of Whitefield beer for a few years now. Really enjoyable time listening to Cuilan tell the story of how the brewey came to be while also getting to taste the beers!
You should call ahead to arrange a time to visit as they do not have a visitor center with open access. The fellow on the phone seemed very nice, however, seeing as how they were closed, we slunk away, sad, thirsty, and unfulfilled :(
Absolute gent and gave us loads of information on the production and different types of lager , ale etc.
One of the best breweries in Ireland. Can't go wrong with any of their beers. Highly recommended.
The food was great and the server was even better! Try the fish and chips!
Blond is the best beer I have ever drank!

Best day ever! Went to trek for new year's eve and was absolutely amazing. Very well managed and had great fun! Definitely recommend this! If I could give 100 as score I would!
This was my very first experience on a horse and what a fantastic experience it was. Starting with an easy walk up the hill we progressed to trotting up and down trails and even a canter. Maura was a great and encouraging guide. With the range of trails, this is suitable for all levels, from a nervous beginner to an experienced horse person as the groups were split up based on ability. Looking forward to going back. Would recommend booking through their email and providing height, weight and experience to get the most suitable horse.
Such a lovely trek, amazing horses, beautiful scenery and great people. Been twice and will definitely go again
Thanks to Christy, Maura and Caoimhe for helping me to gain my confidence on my beautiful pony. I would 100% Definitely recommend this pony trekking to my friends and family. The view is absolutely stunning on either a summer's day or a crisp winter's day no matter the weather. I love bringing my pony trekking with the gang because we have a good banter while trekking. Thanks again Christy, Maura and Caoimhe for all of your help.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our Trek with Devil's Bit Pony Trekking. The views were breathtaking, the horses were beautifully behaved and very content. This is a family owned business: Maura, Christy and Caoimhe couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They're very genuine people and deserve every success. This is a five star experience! Thanks everyone! We will definitely return in future!
Hi there, My friends and I (not really experienced, no problem) did the tour and we are so happy we did because we had an unique experience!! We’re taken care of the whole time, the horses did an amazing job caring us up and down the hill and we had great conversations with everyone! Nice atmosphere to have a safe and fun adventure. We’ll definitely do it again!! -Neele, Leonie, Sophie!
Maura & Christy are amazing at what they do. I would be quite nervous around horses but they gave me an amazing animal and over the course of the three hour trek I was reassured and filled with confidence throughout. The Devil's Bit has stunning views of the Tipperary Countryside - it was breath taking! They cater for all levels so if you're more experienced or a child who requires leading they can look after you! 100% will be going back!
This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. One of the best things we have ever done. It truly made our trip to Ireland. Maura and Christy were amazing, and we hope to go back when we can. They took the most amazing photos and accommodated our every need. We loved this so much. It felt like traversing every fantastic novel and epic journey there is. It was so wonderful it can’t be put in words. This is a must do. ❤️

Had a meal here with my husband for father's day was very helpful and friendly. Staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent, very quick service. Was very impressed 👏. Well done to all the staff
Honest opinion came here for food with family. Food was terrible even daughter complained about the goujons(how can you get that wrong) and she would eat anything.I got steak sandwich was like rubber..Burger was something like you throw in microwave, and potato's had lumps. So avoid and spend your money elsewhere.
A beautiful town centre location. Lovely semi rural walks around the edge of town. Wonderful friendly staff. Our room was spotless and quiet despite being next to the main street.
Avoid This Hotel – Dirty Rooms,no room noise instillation, and Shockingly Aggressive Staff! I stayed at the Templemore Arms Hotel for one night, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The room was in poor condition—there were black stains on the bed sheets, and the walls were paper-thin. I could hear every movement from the room next door, with noise so loud and constant that I could feel the vibrations through the wall. It’s clear the building is extremely dated and completely lacks proper soundproofing. I called reception at 1:00 a.m. asking them to speak to the guests next door. The noise continued for another hour and a half. I called again, only to be told the receptionist knocked on their door but got no answer. At no point did staff take real action to ensure guests could actually sleep—which is the bare minimum any 3+ star hotel should provide. The worst part came the next morning. When I explained the situation to the receptionist, Fiona, she instantly became defensive, argumentative, and downright rude. I calmly asked for compensation, and she responded with aggression and insult. This is not just bad service—it’s horrible aggression towards guests! I then asked to speak to the manager, Catherine, who was more composed but dismissive. She refused to offer any resolution or apology and bizarrely claimed she had “never received a noise complaint in 50 years.” And “we had no other noise complaints from other rooms” implying that I called reception twice at 1am and 2am for no reason?? When I said I would be leaving a review, her response was a sarcastic, “Oh, and we will respond.” Not a single apology. No accountability. Just arrogant staff with extremely poor, defensive attitude. This hotel has serious problems—not just with the quality of the rooms, but with a rude, aggressive, defensive and outdated customer service culture that clearly sees complaints as a nuisance rather than an opportunity to improve. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and respectful hotel to stay, avoid the Templemore Arms Hotel at all costs and stay in a B and B instead! You will get more sleep and the walls will be not as thin as paper!
Hotel is spotless. Staff are friendly and will give recommendations as to what's on around. Lovely park just up from them. Food is lovely.
Excellent place, very good food, smart TV, very friendly staff. Very clean and fresh, very comfy.
A very pleasant experience. Staff brilliant, food was delicious and service very good
Always a great experience, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good selection in the carvery, and always very tasty.
