Oertijdmuseum is a paradise for anyone fascinated by dinosaurs and prehistoric life! The exhibits are so well-curated, and the models of dinosaurs are impressive. It’s not only informative but also visually stunning. The outdoor area with the life-sized dinosaur replicas adds an extra layer of excitement to the experience. A perfect place for a family day out!

It is a lovely museum! Especially the actual bones and such they preserve. You can even watch people busy preserving bones. The outside area could be a little more entertaining but all in all its a very fun museum.

Visited on our way back to Schipol airport from Eindhoven. Big outside area with loads of dinosaurs and other animals, a couple of play areas and indoor museum with dinosaur bones and historical artifacts. Bigger than we thought and could have stayed longer than the 3 hours we were there but had to get flight home. Was my daughters favourite place during our tripp. Highly recommended for families and dinosaur lovers.

We visited with family and had a mostly positive experience. The museum offers a great mix of indoor and outdoor attractions, making it enjoyable for both children and adults. The fossil and skeleton collections are impressive and genuinely educational — even for older kids and grown-ups who enjoy prehistoric science. That said, there was some confusion at the entrance about how to handle tickets for disabled visitors, which created a slightly awkward start to the visit. The outdoor park is filled with dinosaur models and interactive areas, but it borders busy roads — during our walk, the smell of car exhaust was noticeable. Adding a green buffer of fast-growing bushes or trees would make the experience more pleasant and healthy. While the garden and playground sections are fun, they do feel like a mismatched collection of random elements. Many visitors (us included) felt the outdoor area could benefit from more cohesive theming or fresh, thoughtfully curated additions. With the right creative vision — perhaps under new or refreshed leadership — this museum has all the potential to become truly exceptional. It just needs better structure, clearer planning, and a more modern visitor experience.

More for kids overall, but as an adult i got taken to this place as a surprise date. We had fun redding all the plaques, while also playing some pokemon go. Staff is also very nice. Everything is in both dutch and english

Beautiful museum, interesting for kids but also adults. Children can spend good time. Two minor drawbacks: 1- Outdoor museum has dirth paths, after the rain, you may find paths are blocked with mud and puddle. Bring suitable shoes. 2- There is lack of English instructions for the species, you need to scan QR code to find them.

Amazing place for your kids to visit, in case they are into dinosaurs! With real Dino skeletons and super large outdoor playground in the forest, Oertijdmuseum is a must go if you want to do something different! It’s like going to the prehistoric zoo and I’d definitely recommend! As a last point - if you have a yearly subscription for some of the zoo’s or other museums you can even get a nice discount on the tickets!

It is so beautiful place! Entrance to this various nature is completely free, and you can hike here for hours on many trails; passing the open forest, sand dunes, high grasses, fields, lakes, seeing many animals and plants. There are many spots where to rest.

I recently had a nice walk there. Perfect for relaxing and winding down. I highly recommend going there if you’re thinking about visiting.

A lovely place to wander with lakes and mixed woodland. Very quiet in October with beautiful colours and Autumnal smells - expect it would be far busier in the main tourist season though.

For me is the best place for a walk in nature near Eindhoven. There are diversified landscapes. Easy to park.

This is an exhibition of classic cars for sale attached to a dealership. It is quite easy to see the cars and you can walk around some of them. It was nearly empty when we visited soon after opening time.
