Our tour guide Joseph Mulligan from Happy Tours brought us here. What a fantastic place, amazing whisky and cool place. Nice people there too. I recommend a stop.
5 stars is not enough! We visited the distillery on Easter Sunday, guided tour included us plus 4 other people and amazing Darragh (apologies if I misspelled the name!). We got a tasting glass as a souvenir and the tour started with a drink with ginger ale and Kilbeggan Black. For drivers - ginger ale, made with Irish apples - very tasty 😍 Darragh gave us a great tour, explaining the history, the process and being involved and very attentive to our questions! We have never been to such a historic distillery and Kilbeggan was a great choice! If you’re looking for unique experience, taste nice whiskies, learn about the distillery and its history - this is the best place in Ireland! Small, boutique place making whiskies for the local consumption ❤️ Highly recommended for whiskey lovers!
Great place for whiskey lovers and not only. 1 of the oldest Distillery in Ireland with spirit from the past century. Nice gift shop and surrounding plus whiskey tour with tastings.
Really enjoyed the tour and tasting done at Ireland’s oldest distillery…. Would happily recommend to others
Friendly staff and interesting place to visit. We felt the tour was quite rushed and the tasting was disappointing (only one type of whiskey to taste test), although we visited in a large group towards the end of the day so this may have played a part. The bar was lovely after and we picked up a few trinkets from the gift shop. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Interesting tour in an historic whiskey distillery. Nice tasting. Our tour lasted about an hour. Perfect amount of time.
Splendid tour. We had a great explanation and tour of the old distillery that was initially used, as well as the one used for small batches nowdays. The guide had excellent knowledge on the topic. (Added photo but don’t want to give spoilers)
Its a fantastic building and although I never ventured inside the outside had more than enough to catch my interest. The water being released makes for some lovely photos from across the river. It really is lovely on a sunny day. Well worth a visit even to admire from a far, enjoy

THE BEST pint of Guinness I’ve had in all of Ireland and Frank (the owner) is the greatest host. A warm fire, a cold pint, and the greatest craic means… if you don’t like this spot, you may be in the wrong country.
Relaxed with my pints of Coors Light. It was good & vintage. Staff are good.
very rude owner, drunk in his own pub
We had a wonderful stop for a Guinness and some food from next door at Larrigy‘s Pub. Thank you for the hospitality and the great experience. Definatly worth a stop on the way, jolly good barkeeper !!
A very cosy little pub, very friendly staff and the prices are great.
Frank Larrigy is a consummate host! Larrigy’s is cozy and inviting (sit by the fire!) and pours a solid pint of Guinness. I’ll go out of my way on my next visit to Ireland to stop by this pub.
Good pint of Guinness and good people :)
Fabulous friendly pub, the fire is a great welcome as soon as you walk through the door! Very accommodating for food too, lovely homely pub, staff and locals very friendly, great jukebox selection too

After getting off at the bus stop, we decided to go watch the Grand Slam match at the nearest bar. The minute we walked in we were made feel so welcome - the drink was excellent and the hot dogs and fresh sandwiches on the night were delicious. Great atmosphere and brilliant music. Amy and her crew couldn't have done enough for us! Looking forward to going back some night.
Nice pub that was doing a good decent trade the morning I was in, on a Sunday. Friendly service and a decent pint of Guinness, cant complain!
The Grilled cheeses are delicious! A nice soft ham Inbetween a very stretchy cheese And coverd by very crispy but yet so soft pieces of bread If you find this place then you MUST Try their grilled cheeses.
Very tasty pints of Guinness served by an extremely pleasant barman. Premises were clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere inside
Advertising food and coffee. Directed us to the cafe across the road as they apparently don't serve food.
Great place for a drink if you are passing by, lovely staff very friendly and helpful, typical Irish pub, well worth a try.
Lovely traditional Irish pub with a warm atmosphere. Best pint of Guinness in Kilbeggan.
A local pub you can visit to meet locals and have a small bite. Nothing fancy but it serves your tummy good with the small bites.

I absolutely Kilbeggan Reformer Pilates! The classes are fantastic – every session makes me feel like I’ve had a proper, full-body workout, and I can really feel the benefits throughout the week. I honestly haven’t missed a week since I started. The staff are just wonderful – so kind, welcoming, and supportive, which makes the whole experience even better.
I have found Reformer Pilates classes at Fox Physio to be excellent. Having attended classes led by Eimear, Fiona and Laura, all are equally focused on the needs and level of ability of attendees. My core strength has definitely improved in this enjoyable and supported environment.
Love these small-group, weekly reformer Pilates classes in Kilbeggan. Laura is such a friendly, patient and encouraging instructor—she makes every 7:15am session upbeat and accessible, no matter your experience level. Highly recommend giving them a try!
I was facing challenges with abs exercises. Lower back pain can really hinder progress in the gym. I tried reformer pilates and improvement is significant. Now, I can work on my core exercises with greater efficiency and satisfaction. I am loving the classes and looking forward to them every week. Girls are so supportive and helpful. Results are visible. I would recommend them to anyone.
At 43 reformer pilates has been a game changer. It's helped me build real strength! Beyond the physical benefits , its amazing for the mind. Every class clears my head, reduces stress. I love it and it's perfect for the mind and body. Highly recommend
The reformer pilates classes and the fox Physiotherapy and Pilates studio is amazing. I do the one to one sessions with Laura and she is brilliant at guiding through the different movements and making sure each session is challenging. Highly recommend!
Can’t recommend Fox Physio enough. The whole team is excellent, but Eimear is renown for her pelvic floor speciality and antenatal Pilates classes. It’s been such a help in pregnancy.
Best Pilates classes I’ve attended. Been to others in different countries but this class is the best. I’m delighted it’s near to home for me.
