Even tho I’ve seen my neighbours plate ordering another dish including rice. Anyway so I ordered to the waitress traditional fries but I got served sweet potatoes fries instead…. 🙄I had to request to the waiter to review my order and claim the traditional fries I’ve ordered initially - mistakes can happen, no big deal. But the staff didn’t really do law profile about this mistake. - staff eating/snacking behind the bar visible by customers 🤦‍♀️ - waitress wearing sunglasses all along the service even while greeting and taking orders with customers… waitress not showing up to clean up after our disappointing desserts (maybe to avoid asking us “how did things went?” and hear me complain about it). The waitress did not give us the bill and neither advised where to go for it. We had to guess… - now the icing on the cake… 🥁the official most disappointing “pavlova” dessert experience ever. I should have pay a visit to the nearest supermarket for grocery shopping and do this at home myself for way cheeper. A disgrace. I highly advise the chef to have a look online and study how to do and serve pavlova to your guests instead of scamming and loosing people with poor customer service. I’ve tried to hit my spoon into the meringue but I honestly gave up, I’m not even sure if fruits in desserts they serve are frozen or fresh maybe they were but at this stage I’m wondering… Anyway we went to pay the bill at the reception and said a word about our experience especially the dessert part and no responsibility was taken, the receptionist defended the kitchen staff (good team spirit tho lol) saying the dessert wasn’t satisfactory to my taste but the recipe was matching correctly with the name of the dessert on the menu …. which wasn’t for sure but our voice didn’t got heard and we did not receive any goodwill gesture neither to try saving the customer experience as much as possible. Sad to have to badly review the restaurant, maybe the hotel and spa could be a better experience. This establishment has been refered by a friend, we were looking forward to have a great lunch chilling in a nice hotel restaurant environment for a vacation time - unfortunately, we gave it a try without success, leaving with a bitter taste. Definitely won’t be back 👎😩
