Marvelous, very low price .they charge adult ticket only 11 euro and 3 year child free , charge my 7 year child only 4 euro …it is a good museum , they tell the whole story of mining in Catalunya …also they take u ride in the train up to the mine and a guide tell you the whole story with pictures inside and development of new machines in mining process …overall best of the best place ..parking is free
An absolutely superb museum with wonderful artefacts and a trip down the mine
Interesting museum about the coal mining history of Cercs and its surroundings. The lady at the desk helped us with understanding the concept of the museum. The exposition rooms are very interesting and niceley set up. The only downside is that not all information is translated into english, and that the guided part (where you go in the mine) is fully in Catalan and only to be understood by mp3 and headphones you can borrow, which makes it less interactive for tourists that don’t speak Catalan. But the lady still repeated the most important thing to us in English, which was nice. Would recommend during noon to escape the heat.
Great museum, didactic and well thought out. The guided trip on the train into the mine was the high point, our guide was excellent and we could understand what life was like there from a very human perspective. Unexpected and highly recommended!
Highly recommended! This museum is more than a technical one, has a powerful storytelling explaining miner's everyday in key moments of Catalonian history. If you are curious about the rise of anarchism and worker's movement in Europe, it's worth a visit. Landscape and natural environment is breathtaking, too. If you have time, have a traditional lunch in Santa Bárbara restaurant to complement the visit. If you have more time, stay in Santa Barbara hotel, it's a modern, beautiful boutique hotel displaying artifacts and photos of the mines. It's category (2 stars) is not an indicator it's high quality, should be 3 stars.
Good museum to visit. The lady who took us on the tour was very knowledgeable.
Not for non Spanish speaking. In the reception told me that i receive MP3 PLAYER with English guide but it's never be. The short movie in Catalans. Them try to find for me the movie in English and unfortunately didn't find it. The stuff is 5 person's and only one know English. Very disappointed.
Amazing place you will never visit unless told to do so. Have a ride on a mine train deep into the mountain. See how miners were living and working. Visit the museum. Worth to go.

A magic forgotten place in the middle of Picancel (the name of this small mountain chain) , once the center of this part of the world. The church is not open to the public but just the location makes it worth visiting. If you want to do a hike as well, the highest peak of Picancel - Salga Agudas, is just around the corner.
(Translated by Google) Excursion recommended. You can access the Pedret bridge by vehicle or by a greenway from Can Rosal. The bridge is spectacular. Crossing the bridge there is a road that takes you to the church of Sant Quirze de Pedret. The church is small and was closed. It's not the prettiest, but the walk is worth it. L església esn petita i estava tancada.

The place is impressive surrounded by nature, the mountains and the peace that is experienced are worth it. Access from the bridge is not difficult and you don't have to walk far, you arrive in 10 minutes.
(Translated by Google) We visited the Church of Sant Quirze de Pedret, one of the few surviving 10th-century buildings in Catalonia and one of the finest examples of pre-Romanesque architecture in the country. It was closed when we arrived, but the exterior is already stunning, nestled in the enclave near the Pont del Pedret. The climb is more impressive than it actually is, so I encourage you to go see it because it's well worth the effort.

(Translated by Google) A small gem of Catalan Romanesque architecture, which, although off the beaten track, is relatively easy to reach, about a 45-minute walk from Berga to the well-known and visited medieval bridge that crosses the Llobregat River. From the bridge, the church is reached by climbing for about 15 minutes along a comfortable path surrounded by nature. The interior contains remains of mural paintings and arches that alone are well worth the day. I recommend the guided tour on Sunday mornings, which allows access to the interior, for anyone truly passionate about the subject.
