The self guided tour is the way to go to ensure you get to read all the history and information available. So much to see and so much history. Family tickets can be purchased. The cafe here was exceptionally nice, although they were busy and missing lots of items on the menu. Pulled pork sandwich was amazing. Clean toilets with plenty of stalls.
A wonderful look into the history of the Blasket islands and the people that lived there. The way they strived is amazing. There is plenty of parking available, and a view point on the other side. It’s worth a look if you have the time.
Amazing museum and great cafe. Delightful place to visit. Take the scenic route away from the coast for incredible views.
A must stop. The Centre is modern, with a lovely cafe with amazing snacks. The Museum tells a story of a population that enjoyed life, the sea, dance and endured a very long time, prospered until it did not. Captured video of the last inhabitants that are inspiring.
Don't skip this place! We almost drove by, but were curious to see what was on there. The viewing platform is on itself worth the stop (from which farther away you can also see Luke Skywalke's retirement island), but the incredible experience is on the building itself and the history it contains. The architecture and setting of the place is stunning, blending so well with the natural environment yet striking in its design. Learn about the people of Blasket island, the last of a kind until the island's depopulation in 1953. How they lived, how the isolation kept the richness of the Irish language I'm that community, how incredibly great writers emerged from that social environment. At the end of the visit , enjoy the views once again from the beautiful cafeteria/restaurant. Totally worth spending time here!
Great spot with amazing ocean views. The chowder was tasty, and the hake fish & chips were fresh and delicious. Clean restaurant, nice atmosphere – we found it by chance and really enjoyed it!
An absolute must on your trip. Rich with history, person stories on video, archives and a marvelous, well done center. Walk outside and view the area from the platform. The wind can be intense at times out there. The café was very good, the coffee was terrific. The bus cones and goes on a regular schedule. The is a small "bookstore" at reception. I would go again, I really encourage you to see thus place for yourself.
This is really worth a visit. It is a beautiful building, mimicking the Ogham stone in shape and design. Masked seamlessly into this wonderful landscape. Interesting, interactive experience. Brilliant, stunning views. Coffee shop lovely also. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and invested. €5, great value too.

Beautiful. Well worth the stop and take in the views. Please be warned stay away from the cliff edge very easy to slip. Well worth it to stop and take in the beautiful scenery
Wonderful place! Photos do not convey the breadth of the space, the antiquity of the rocks and the power of the ocean! You just have to see it! The road from Dingle by car through the mountainous terrain. The traffic lane is for one car, but there are places for passing oncoming cars. And there are quite a lot of such places for passing, everything is fine with this. Relatively new road surface. The road was comfortable.
🪨 Outstanding view over the Blasket islands, unreal scenery, the rock formation looks like from an exaggerated movie. Do come during the week or early in the morning and you won't have any trouble with queues. ☝️Pro tip: the coffee trailer on top of the pier is a must go. Also the most westerly pub of Ireland is situated just down the street.
It's a beautiful drive to get to Dunquin pier! The walk down is steep, and the walk up is steeper. It's very windy but the scenery and views - phenomenal. Was so excited to see this and I am so glad I finally got to!! We did it with our 5 year old child as well - he had no issues (though you have to keep an eye on them at the bottom near the pier).
Remarkable views, absolutely enjoyed going here! So many choices on what to see when you’re here. There are solid walking paths, which make it a little easier to navigate down hill, but the walk back up is what it is. Haha
Fabulous Scenic part of Ireland situated in Dingle Co Kerry, Amazing views and a lovely walk down to the edge of the Ocean. I believe some parts of Star Wars The Force Awakens movie was filmed here, the Skellig Islands visible from Dunquin Pier were in the movie
Without a doubt this spot is one of the most iconic spot ever. No one will go against that opinion. You must have to experience this place in a good sunny day to really enjoy the beauty. Dont miss this if you are in Dingle.
This place is very special because usually you can only see the cliffs from above but here you can actually walk down a path and reach the ocean with its turquoise water. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit.
