A dreamy waterfall 😍 Feels like something out of pinterest. Cute path that leads to it, a lot of stairs but very doable. Not crowded at all.
Even there is enough space to park for free, they put up a barrier and you have to get on payed parking. Then you have to walk back on foot to the water fall. Distance was bigger then expected and observation dock pretty small for all the people. Some of them would like to have a photo of family with the cascade but will end having a photo with other families because the dock is crowded. The weather was very hot and a swim on water stream would be preferable. However, the waterfall is nice.
Beautiful waterfall with turquoise water. Even better in person than in photos. About a 15-minute walk, viewed from a platform. Sadly, no swimming allowed.
Cascade de Sillans is a beautiful and peaceful spot, perfect for a nature escape. The walk to the waterfall is very friendly for most visitors, with just a few slightly steep steps along the way. I’d definitely recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as it makes the short hike much more enjoyable. If you’re hoping to get some great photos, it’s best to go early. The viewing deck overlooking the waterfall tends to get quite busy, especially with families visiting later in the day. It’s a very child-friendly destination, and I even saw several people with buggies. While the paths are generally manageable, you’ll want someone with you to help lift the buggy at certain points – that was the case from what I observed during my visit. Near the entrance, there are plenty of food trailers offering a range of options including wraps, soft drinks, ice cream, and even a pizza trailer – great for grabbing a bite after your walk. There is parking available close to the site, but do note that it is paid parking. All in all, Cascade de Sillans makes for a lovely outing that combines natural beauty, accessibility, and a few tasty treats – just be sure to plan ahead and arrive early for the best experience.
A pretty waterfall. If you want to hike/get closer to the water you can start from Parking du Village. However from this side there isn’t a good full view of the waterfall. When we went (on a Tuesday in August) it was really busy and kind of loud. Parking is expensive.
Absolutely stunning . We were a little bit misled because we thought we could swim around the area but it turns out that if you want to swim in that beautiful water it’s actually about 20 or 30 minutes away. However, there is parking and it’s not that expensive at all I think it was about €3 for the few hours we stayed and they have a toilet that everyone can use and lots of vendors who serve things like hotdogs and pizza slices. If you’re travelling from abroad, be sure to try and use Google lens for your translating needs as not much is in English. Once you arrive at the car park, it’s around a 15 minute walk down a lot of stairs and some trails until you reach the waterfall. you then reach a platform like a viewing platform that holds about 10 people and you can look and take photos, a little underwhelming as you literally just stand there and take photos then leave and walk back up back to your car, whereas I thought we’d be able to touch the waterfall or explore the area nearby but you can’t it’s very much “stick to the trail” and don’t come off it. You can’t come off it because there’s actually Fences. But I’ve decided to give it four stars as it was very beautiful and a lovely little tucked away gem and all the staff that work there were very helpful. There are lots of staff along the route and it’s impossible to get lost. Would definitely recommend. We drove two hours from cannes to get there
Beautiful hidden waterfall, simple trail to follow took about 10-15 minutes to walk to. Viewing platform was quiet, visited on a weekday in the evening.
This is a beautiful waterfall. But we went there thinking we could picnic at the waterfall. Due to the fire risk park rangers made us move on and the very small platform for viewing it was crowded no rest area or chair. Still well worth visiting however we found a really nice picnic ground back near the bridge that you cross before you park.
