Stunning creation! This is an easy favourite afternoon out for our family. Multiple car parking spots (you do need to pay, some spots have a machine but many are digital only. It uses JustPark app). There is a simple little cafe with delicious ice cream and loo facilities but look up opening times. My toddler loves the ‘beach’, by the lake. Plenty of sandy space to build a sandcastle, moat or just paddle and watch the birds. There are benches dotted around the pond and picnic benches at the cafe. Plenty of shady areas but also sunshine, whichever you fancy and so much natural beauty and bird life/wildlife to take in. Great spot for dogs to walk (though they aren’t supposed to swim), walking and bike rides. Highly recommend a visit!
Frensham Little Pond in Surrey is a fairly large lake with surrounding Heathland. A great place to relax with a stroll around the lake, dogs are also permitted under control. There are various walking routes including paths which lead to Frensham Great Pond. There is a little beach area where you can take your deck chairs and enjoy the peace and the views. Bathing is not permitted here but is at Frensham Great Pond which is a few minutes drive away. There is a National Trust run refreshments hut on site selling drinks and light refreshments. There's a decent sized car park which is chargeable unless you are a National Trust member.
Nice walk and very beautiful but been brought by National Trust and now charging you through the roof for parking. Utterly shocking and disgusting, especially for residents who have always been able to visit this place freely without paying to walk in our own area
I love coming here at any time of the year and watching nature change. You can meet families with children or dogs here. There are 2 parking lots, one smaller and one larger (both paid). There is a small cafe and toilets on the lake.
Really beautiful place to go with the family or for a dog walk. I have done a couple family photoshoots here and I can highly recommend if you have children. It's peaceful, stunning, has a little beach perfect for a little bit of paddling and great woods to explore. There's a lovely cafe to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat. Just beautiful.
Beautiful place for sunbathing, walking, picnic, sailing... The café is good too. Unfortunately public toilets wasn't in good condition.
This place was absolutely amazing. Parts of the trail were slightly muddy, but that obviously cannot be helped - but it is just to put people on notice if they are thinking of attending any time soon. Seeing the swans was really nice and I did not expect them to walk in such close proximity to people. Obviously, adults told their children not to go too close to the swans, but it was just lovely to see them so closely. It is a decent walk and at times, it can get quite crowded with people. Many people use this place to walk their dogs and there is a place in which some of the dogs like to take a bath. This is in a separate area of where the swans typcially "hang out" and it was nice to see so many dogs enjoying the water. I recommond this place if you are, for example, a dog owner, if you like to walk in a scenic place, if you are a photographer, if you have children and if you do not mind walking in sand.
One of our favourite places to spend some time and walk up to Stoney Jump. Only problem now is the hill as turned into a volcanic peak and a toy car play area. The pond it self is very beautiful and tranquil.

Popped down to have a look at the lake and was surprised, with the blue green algae on the hotel side of the pond. Do not let your dogs swim in this water or they may get very poorly.
Park with large lake in Surrey. It also has a beach with soft sand where you take your deck chairs and windbreaks and even swim in the lake which has an excellent water cleanliness rating. There are walks around the lake with woodland etc. the paths are good but in some cases quite near to public roads so please take care. There are various walking trails which also lead to Frensham Little Pond. There is a visitors centre on site with toilets and refreshments available. Sailing on the great pond is exclusively for members of the Frensham sailing club and fishing is only for Farnham angling club members. There is a charge for parking but National Trust members can park for free
A great place to visit. Man-made sandy beach. Swimming is allowed, but safety is the biggest factor. Supervision of children is very important Very clean. A walk around the Great Pond takes between 45 to 60 minutes, although it could probably be quicker or slower, depending on the individual. Hot and cold food and drinks are available, although I thought they were quite expensive £10 for a burger 🍔 and chips 🍟
A wonderful, tranquil place. Looked after very well. Takes 60-90 minutes to walk the circumference. Has a lovely sandy beach and National Trust car park which I believe is free on week days. (Please check). Will definitely visit again, the family loved it!
Visited on a weekend day / Saturday, paid the parking and after found out about no swimming in the water because of some Blue Green algae…..and maybe this was the reason the place wasn’t busy. Sand is nice and clean. Parking quite big with lots of spaces, £6.80 for all day, National Trust Members free. Nice scenery, we walked around the lake, be careful on the street parts, no pedestrian path. Toilets available and open till late, we left around 7.30pm. Overall was ok.
Really great place😊 What a special place. Natural lake surounded by beautiful nature. Great sandy beach and water is very shallow so safe for children. It does get busy on hot days so best to come early. Picnic is recommended since there is only one caffe and queues can build up. Also lovely place for walks. From the other side of the lake there is a sailing club and hotel.
A beautiful walk to be had around the pond. Saw plenty of birds & other wildlife in a short time. Lots of parking on site. There’s a small beach area which is very pretty & could see people in small sail boats using the pond.
Decided to go and check this place out as it was only an hours drive away from London. Was hoping that in future wouldn't have to head so far down south to find a beach. The place has limited space for parking, prices for parking are okay. The actual beach is small and gets packed very quickly. The entrance to the body of water is narrow and very busy. Water was pretty clear. Sand is soft with a few stones. Wouldn't reccomend walking around barefoot as I pricked each sole with some dry thorny vegetation. Annoying wasps. It was persistent so must be a nest near by. Visit was short due to wasps and it was just too hot. Personally to.avoid the overcrowding, to have a sea breeze and a more beautiful horizon I would head to usual beach spots down south.

What a great little place . Staff are great and the beers are really good , plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. They make pizzas and burgers here. The pizza Is excellent and the burgers are made from locally sourced beef , cheese and salads . Highly recommend a visit . It is open Friday , Saturday and Sunday . They have special event days too .
Stopped here after a walk around the lakes. Good place to stop, good selection of drinks but pizza was underwhelming. Drinks: Good choice of local / craft lager and ales. Pimms also available which is great for warmer days. Decent selection of alcohol free beers, as well as the typical soft drinks (sold in cans). Nice apple juice. Food: We had pizzas, which were OK - tasted homemade. Pictures look better than the taste. It appears there is only one small pizza oven, so they can only cook one pizza at a time which causes some wait (and potentially problematic if there is a group of you, and you each get your pizza 8mins after the other). I had the Margherita which was okay but I didn’t think it was anything special (I like a pizza with a yummy crust). Other half had the Wild boar salami on the pizza was nice, but appeared to have been added after cooking (so it was cold). They also sell burgers, which smelled amazing but we didn’t try. Suggestion for improvement would be to offer dips for pizza crusts! Improvements: At times there was a horrible smell from the toilets. We also asked for some cutlery but they didn’t seem to have any…
Such a cool little spot with lovely surroundings, good beers and great staff. The pizzas were a bit on the thin side not as good as they look on the pictures here.
Countryside pub - authentic pizzas, very nice. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for nice and homemade food.
A hidden gem full of great beer and some bar snacks. The owners are enthusiastic about their beer and were very helpful explaining each type they had on tap. Their beer tasted great so I hope to revisit soon! Note current license is from midday for serving alcohol.
Fantastic little brewery, good choice of drinks, including good coffee! Lovely surroundings, would have given 5 stars but felt the food was a little pricey for the what you got. Will definitely be going back for beer and scenery though.
Fantastic hidden gem tucked away down a country lane in Farnham. Great selection of beers with a tempting menu and a changing weekend food truck. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
This is amazing place for the rest during cycling. Very tasty pizza
