Fantastic views. Nice cafe. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking
excellent place to go skiing for the first time, there are slopes that maintain even little snow, beautiful views and everything super close to Montpellier only an hour and a half away!
Observatory is nicely renovated and the view is stunning. There's also a shop and restaurant.
Facilities open seasonally, and we were there out of season - even the WC was closed. Fabulous views all the way to the Mediterranean (70+km) on a clear day. Easy hike up from the local ski facilities.
Fantastic spot! Wonderful panoramic views and lots of hikes, short and long...
Magnificent views when the weather permits! If you can see clouds from the valley, chances are the view will be obscured by mist or cloud
Brilliant location. Strong wind but definitely worth it. A panoramic view of the cevennes national park.
There simply isn't a more beautiful place in the Cévennes.

High-elevation peak with road access to the summit, known for its heavy rainfall & weather station.

It's the highest point in the Cévennes National Park. The forest is incredible preserved and the community are receptive with tourists. As the nature is well preserved you can spot some animals like the roe and red deer. And if you are incredible luck you may spot a wolf. All the trails (at least MOST of them) are well signed and are compatible with GPS and maps.
A tremendous place with meteo station at the top and views all over Lozère and Gard's regions. Café, restaurant and hostel accommodation available for courageous hikers
We couldn't work out from many comments on here if there was a cafe/restaurant and even the hotel staff in Millau were not sure. So when we arrived in almost freezing low cloud with Nil visibility, we were about to turn back around on our motorbikes. A quick chat with a cold, elderly lady walker reassured us to look round the back of the building. Yes - a fantastic clean, modern and spacious cafe being enjoyed by all the freezing cold motorbikers, cyclists and walkers. Very warm inside and very welcome for being open at the end of season (end of Sept). Delicious patisserie and friendly staff. Despite the lack of views, we still enjoyed the visit and will certainly come back again. Cafe - I hope you stay open for at least another month. With global warming, October will become the new end of season!
Mont Aigoual is amazing to stay. It's a mountain that you can just enjoy the beautiful view around or walk and trekking around.
This site was amazing!!! Once reaching the summit you are already at around an altitude of 1500 meters. Unfortunately during my visit they were undergoing construction on the castle so we could not look through in the observatory but we were able to see the rest of the place. Please note that there are very strong winds. It is advised to bring warm clothing if you are planning to visit the site.
Great place to visit, very interesting exhibition on climate, nice Cafe but also a perfect picnic area with great views and nice little walks.
A beautiful lookout on the Languedoc. Rainiest place in France (6 meters) and acts as water divide between the Atlantic (Loire) and thé Mediterranean
A moderate 3-hour climb from Valleraugue with beautiful views.

(Translated by Google) Valleraugue is a very beautiful Cevennes village. An ideal place for a relaxing holiday in the heart of the Cevennes (Original) Valleraugue est un trés beau village cévenol.
Staff helpful and some speak english. Wifi available and one computer with internet access.
(Translated by Google) Very friendly on the phone, very good explanations to help us find a restaurant open on July 14th. Thank you.
(Translated by Google) The young woman with blue-gray eyes is very nice but she suffers from a lack of details. The Col de l'Elze walk is poorly indicated on the ground and the information is vague from the office. The place is well maintained.
(Translated by Google) If you don't want information, this is the ideal place, except for the young girl who I think is doing an internship. The other person is very unpleasant. We are very disappointed with the little information received, which was also not good, like a bus to the top of Aigoual, and actually, no, it only starts on July 1st. It's cool when you go up on June 27th. Thank you, madam, I'm useless.
(Translated by Google) Despicable, priorities to review: On the way out of town, on Avenue des Cévennes (in the mountains), after a day of skiing (nice resort by the way), our car fell into the ditch, we immediately called the tourist office to get us the number of a mechanic/convenience store (we did not have proper internet access at this location to look for it ourselves and low battery with the cold): waiting for 30 minutes despite the emergency, to respond to customers who want to rent accommodation the following week.... Conversation cut off. Rebelotte with a nice young lady who stopped to call them also she was put on hold by the office for the same reasons: they prefer to take care of future customers (MONEY MONEY) rather than customers who have already paid and who are in urgent need. We didn't even ask for direct help but a simple convenience number that we never got, we were finally promised a snowblower who came by without stopping and shaking their head no. We thank the two lovely families who helped us with their 4x4s to get us out before dark. Review your priorities and assistance to your customers, money should not make you forget urgent situations or simply your humanity.

(Translated by Google) Another place where we prefer to ask Google. In addition, no ticket machine within 1 hour round trip on May 28, 2022 and of course no toilets.
