We had an absolutely marvelous time at Mas Du Clos De L'Escarrat. My wife and I were in Provence for the first time as I was studying Roman and Medieval ruins for the classes I teach. Charles and Andree are perfect hosts. They were gracious and totally helpful with all of our questions. The farmhouse is serene, quiet, and amid a vineyard. Our room "Ouveze" was great...lots of hot water, air conditioning, and a fabulous kitchen. For an extra fee, Andree serves a terrific breakfast. Charles is an expert in wines and we spent the day touring and tasting with him capped by a delicious meal in a wonderful local restaurant. The farm house is close to all of the sites that make Provence one of the most charming spots in the world. The pool was great and there is a bike/running path adjacent to the property which was wonderful for exercise. I have no reservations about our stay and will recommend this extraordinary spot to my friends and colleagues.
My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at Mas Du Clos De L'Escarrat in May, 2016. Charles and Andree were terrific hosts. They suggested places to eat, to see and wine cellars to visit and made the reservations for us when needed. All recommendations were great! Andree is an amazing baker. Her croissants were among the very best I have every had; breakfast was wonderful. Charles has a vast knowledge of wine and history. They have four apartments attached to their home which is secluded in the middle of vineyards. Their property is very centrally located to the other villages in Rhone Valley plus Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are nearby. We only had three days there ,which was not enough, and know we will come back to the area in the near future and, for sure, we would stay with Charles and Andree again. And the Rhone Valley gets five stars, too!
The setting, the hosts, the feeling of old Provence. We are from California and I highly recommend this place! We were in a five week holiday in Spain and France and hands down this was our favorite place!

(Translated by Google) We loved spending a week of vacation in this bucolic place hidden by the vineyards. The deck chairs invite you to read. The swimming pool is not overlooked. And there is a barbecue available near a century-old plane tree. It's a rare place run by very warm hosts who know how to help you discover the region. The best part: bikes available for riding on the cycle path near the gîte.

Helped me to change my van wheel last March we are in the area and will visit again tomorrow 1st December 24 and get some of that beautiful Rosie wine which is like nectar from the Gods
Amazing little winery, we parked overnight with our camper. Bought some beautiful wine in the farmers shop. The owner was unbelievable kind and friendly. He showed us around his place even though we don’t understand French, we still got by. Highly recommend, if not for the wine then for the scenery ♥️
Good place to park for a night or two. Great tasting wines. I bought 4 cases of 2016 red wine at 15.5% proof. It was a delicious taste. The father has now sold all his land, as his sons do not want to take over the business, so there will not be anymore Rigot wine made here, which is sad. You can still camp in the field next to the house however, which is relatively flat, and very quiet, for a good nights safe sleep.
Lovely place with a very pleasant host. A museum almost with a display of the old hand tools used to work the land for the wine production
Good Wine. Friendly people. You can stay the night with your campervan. Fresh water and toilet usage for free.
(Translated by Google) Thank you for this warm welcome. I learned to love red wine thanks to you! We enjoyed the wine tasting because it allowed us to discover the different stages of maturation of the same wine. Besides, these affordable wines for your budget are excellent! Allow on average €8 for a bottle (75cl). We parked our camper in the private car park and benefited from free water and electricity. We were even able to throw away our trash.
(Translated by Google) We were allowed to stand there for one night free of charge and were welcomed by a very friendly and approachable older couple. On site there are free toilets, running water and, if you want, a spontaneous wine tasting (be sure to take part!) The hosts only speak French. But communication with hands and feet works. The parking space is incredibly beautiful with a view of the mountains, the rest is very old, but you're happy to accept that when you consider that you don't have to pay a parking fee there.
(Translated by Google) Super friendly people, good wine from the estate and received with kindness and plenty of room to settle in with the campervan (Original) Des gens super sympathiques du bon vin du domaine et reçu avec une gentillesse et beaucoup de place pour s'installer avec le camping-car
