We wanted to enjoy the ocean view. This restaurant was perfect. It offers great view to the ocean, and their warm scones were really tasty! So glade that we stepped in!
Stopped here after visiting Cliffs of Moher. Spectacular location on the sea front. Ate in the bar downstairs but they have an upstairs as well. Fabulous sunny day and an outside terrace where you could easily sun burn whilst enjoying a few drinks. A well stocked bar with good choice of draught beer. We got a good table by the window before the evening rush started. Good staff but poorly trained. Nothing bad but poor attention to detail. Stainless steel tea pot badly cleaned and marked. All it needed was a good rinse and hand dry. Gracefully done after it was pointed out. Same for water glass. Small detail but the devil is in the detail. I think the biggest off put for me was the fishy smell in the place. There is no need in today's age to have any smell let alone fish. I had sea food chowder, tasty but not my favourite. Thin soup rather than rich and creamy. Good flavour and lots of bits of recognizable fish. 3 slices of good brown bread. Chicken wings correctly cooked and presented. Tasty. Crispy. Chicken supreme with mash potato. Acceptable. Thin mash, common place. Needed more butter but not bad. Chicken was dry even though wrapped in bacon. Ok, but not excellent. I wouldn't order it again. Chilli nachos. Good size portion. Red jalapenos haven't seen them before. Usually green. Tasted good. Lots of cheese and chilli. Tasty. Overall disappointing, friendly staff made up for food. Glad we didn't have to wait and the location couldn't be better. Pity their sloppiness let's them down. Easy to fix. It wasn't that busy and I noticed 2 other small complaints. I would not rush back to eat but would highly recommend the location for drinks and views.
Wonderful experience. The serving staff was friendly and service was quick. We ordered the Turkey and ham dinner since we were missing out on Thanksgiving back home and it hit the spot! The apple crumble didnt have enough ice cream to finish the rest of the crumble but we still gobbled it up! The views of the ocean were a great addition to our dinner
Superb restaurant close to the Cliffs of Moher. A bit of waiting but nothing too bad. Staff is friendly. View directly on the sea. Tasty food for honest price!
Lovely views and tasty food, all served quickly. 4 stars for serving me my beer late, almost with my dessert
Great location, with fantastic views. Menu is a bit short in my opinion, look at the picture. Staff is very professional.
What can I say? I'd a lovely meal here with friends. We sat at the window and gazed at the Atlantic in all its majesty. The prices were decent, staff were courteous and the food was very tasty. I'd highly recommend going here to anyone who visits Lahinch. Also a great idea using a code for the restrooms. It gives priority to the customers. I'll be back!
Fabulous view of the bay and beach. Tomato soup was lovely. Prawn & chorizo crumble not so much, but tasty. Waiting staff were friendly.
