Hadn’t even heard of this place until the night before. We were staying in Martigny so got the train to Fiesch and then got the bubble up from there. It’s really accessible with 3 bubbles up from the valley, all linked to the trainline with a very small walk at the most. The ski arena is big with the three top stations of the bubbles giving you access to all the terrain via plenty of chairlifts and cable cars. Lots of varied terrain and some lovely villages with lovely shops and cafes too.
Beware of scams. The ticket machines don't actually translate into English. To go up Riederalp, they tell you it's two points, so a 12-point multipass is for six rides, according to the ticket clerk and the funicular workers. We bought the next multipasses late at night on our way back from a visit. We bought two 12-point multipasses, thinking they would be for six rides, but it turned out to be 24 points. The information is confusing, and the machines don't actually translate into English.
We took the cable car up from Fiesch to Eggishorn. Worth the extra effort as it has the best view of the upper part of the Aletsch glacier and the place de la Concorde where several glaciers feed into it. There are lots of viewing places and a small cafe/restaurant. It looks like there are plans to redevelop their and cafe so check it’s open before travelling. It is possible from here or the mid station at Fiescheralp (where there are some nice food and drink options) to walk to the neighbouring cable car stations. If you take one of those cable cars down there is a train at the bottom which should get you back to Fiesch. Obviously make sure you buy the right ticket.
We went during summer, so not the time to ski. But it's definitely worth the visit for the breathtaking views. It's lovely to be up there, look at the views, soak it in, click some pictures and be amazed by how beautiful the glaciers are. There is also a small restaurant up there. Depending on the weather and whether the road is open and accessible one can hike by the trails. Overall, a really good experience, totally recommended.
Very nice area for skiing and for summer hiking. It is a paridese for easy hikes with stunning views. For more experienced hikers there are ad well very interesting options.
Hiking in the snow on a splendid sunny day and such views of the magnificent mountains is LUXURY! #amazing🇨🇭🏔 #stunningmountains
Dear Sirs, On Friday, August 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM, I took your Aletsch Express van in Bettermalp with my family. The driver, not only spoke no other language than German—unthinkable for such a service—but also behaved aggressively and extremely inappropriately toward me and, especially, my four-year-old son. He rudely and threateningly yelled at us to get off, knowing full well that we didn't understand what he was saying. I demand a formal apology from management, a written warning to this employee. This person is taking advantage of the fact that tourists don't complain, but unfortunately for him and for you, who are responsible, I have lived in Switzerland for many years, and this behavior is unacceptable and must be clearly punished/slammed. Pls check my email and i wait your urgente reply.
Haven't eaten or stayed there but spend a week there skiing. Great place and ski resort with great views and plenty of well maintained pists. Highly recommendable.

(Translated by Google) Very nicely decorated rope park. From simple children's routes to challenging and exciting routes, he asks for a lot. Motivated and very helpful staff look after the young and old guests. A very nice place in the forest where you can relax.
(Translated by Google) Amazing service! We were at the park with our 6th grade class, and they took extra time to supervise the children so they could manage the difficult route! Highly recommended (Original) Hammer Service!
Uses LockD clip. Price includes helmet, ropes, and GLOVES. Staffs are friendly and give clear guidance. Rope courses have different levels of difficulties and not too lengthy. Discount with guest card. Simply the top 3 of all the adventure parks we’ve been to!
(Translated by Google) The two children's courses are great but quite quick to complete (25 minutes in total). They are for ages 4 and up (and I can imagine them being quite difficult for 4-year-olds).
(Translated by Google) Fantastic climbing forest for all ages! We received excellent instructions beforehand, and the staff were super friendly and enthusiastic, so we had a blast climbing the six routes. We'll definitely do it again! Gaan we zeker vaker doen!
(Translated by Google) We spontaneously went to Bettmeralp this weekend, enjoying beautiful, sunny autumn weather, and my 5-year-old went exploring the rope park for the first time. All equipment was provided, the prices were very fair, and my daughter couldn't get enough; she loved it! Highly recommended, even for children aged 4 and up. Younger siblings can let off steam on the playground :) Many thanks to the great team. There are also clean restrooms right next to the playground/rope park. Everything is very well thought out. Alles sehr gut durchdacht.
(Translated by Google) We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. Number 6 requires a lot of courage, and number 5 requires a lot of strength. One criticism would be that it should have a few more options for stopping.
(Translated by Google) A really great experience and friendly, helpful staff. We were helped by an enthusiastic woman who explained everything well and was friendly! Highly recommended if you're on holiday here or if you're in the area.
