Walking through the mountains you start to hear the sound of water, and after a few steps you can see the Horses' Falls. A breathtaking sight. Unfortunately, there's a lot of garbage thrown away by uneducated tourists. Note that you need appropriate footwear!!! I've attached a photo.
Very beautiful place and area. I wasn’t prepared and didn’t have comfortable shoes which made me feel uncomfortable walking through the mountain roads. Roads are good but a bit hilly 😅Recommend visiting . Views are really amazing.
~15 min telescaun ride ( 50 lei / ~10 Euro) per person ticket price Then you have 1 km walk
not only is the waterfall beautiful, but everything around it feels magical. a very quiet, peaceful, and stunning place. the only thing I wish I hadn’t seen was some trash around it and along the way to the waterfall. no one is to blame except the visitors. please, take care of nature and don’t throw your trash in the forest, it’s not that hard to carry your empty plastic bottle with you to a trash can. be respectful of nature!!!
Stunning location with such a gorgeous view. Put on the right equipment and get on a memorable journey within the Romanian giant mountains, stop by the falls and have a well deserved snack. There are numerous huts with benches to rest, plenty of shade and lots and lots of pure fresh air. From the bottom of the mountain there is a gondola journey that would last roughly 15 mins and it costs £8 for a two-way trip per person, once reached the top you’ll walk for another 25 mins and there it is - The Horses’ Falls 🤩 Enjoy!
Well worth the half hour walk to get there from the escalator.
Beautiful nature and nice hike 20-40 min one way.
Nice waterfall, beautiful landscape, nice experience using mountain cable "telescaun"

Awesome experience, used to climb it every year as a kid, went yesterday -late October- was a bit chilly on top but totally worthed with amazing views. Took us 5.30 hours to the top and back to the parking lot near the Monastery.
Beautiful place the only downside is that half of the hike is on a dirt road for cars. The pictures were taken on November 1.
A wonderful place, a bit difficult route for beginners but worth it, wonderful landscape
Best views ever a lot of hiking but its shure worth it
Amaizing view from the peak!
Amazing, but I wouldn't recommend going alone. The place is pretty remote and except the weather station and a dog there won't be anybody present. So other than that amazing place and really cool views when you reach the top
Great place to visit if you are a tourist. Check Romania, you'll be surprised by the things this beautiful country has to offer.
