The distillery looks really pretty from the inside, and I’m really looking forward to tasting the gins we bought. We only went to the store here, so we did not create our own gins. The staff was very nice and really competent. They showed us all the different flavours they put into their gins and even gave us some free tonics to try the gins. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re around and like drinking gin. The only critique is that the entrance was difficult to find, as the location is located inside of an industrial area and it took us a moment to find the entrance.
Great wee stop on the way from Dublin to Belfast. Tour included a tour of the Gin lab with an assortment of botanicals to pleasantly assault your olfactory sense. Wonderfully entertaining presentations on how to create your own bespoke Gin concoction and a tour of the craft distillery by one of the family owners. Insightful and highly entertaining. You can buy product on the premises.
This experience was so much better than I could ever have imagined. Teresa and Ciara were brilliant knowledgeable hosts showing us through the journey of gin with fun and laughter. I cannot recommend this gin school enough; ample of delicious g&ts are served as you learn what to do to make your own, a gorgeous cheese plate to help with soakage, funny stories and at the end you get to bring home a full bottle of the gin you made! Incredible value for an amazing experience, was on a high for the rest of the day, and not just becasue of the gin!
One of the best experiences we have ever had for an activity. From the booking process to the days events nothing was too much. The day itself was just over 3 hours long, and plenty of gin to be tasted. Great knowledge by the team and loved that they didn't forget those who were driving. Looking forward to coming back soon.
What a wonderful place to visit and taste some amazing Gin - this tour by Sarah & Clare is both an informative and witty tale of a family built distillery. A very nice G & T as a welcome, see all the botanicals, hear about the distillation you can also do a different tour and make your own gin - they even have a G & T Friday experience
A most enjoyable three hour gin-school experience. Walked away with my own hand-crafted bottle of gin worth Euro 35. Drunk as much gin as I wanted, with a few local snacks. The experience is quite expensive, costing Euro 95, but it was a lot of fun. Great staff made it a wonderful experience. Most recommended!
Really amazing experience, very informative and fun. And got to make a bottle of amazing gin. We even got lovely nibbles in between to soak up all the yummy gin we were given to try
Visited the gin school this weekend. It was such a great day out. Very informative without being boring, great craic and your glass is never empty. The ladies running the class were super friendly and it's very covid safe. Highly recommended.
