We do the 6 wine tasting and shared a the Olive oil tasting. It was nice to meet the great grandchildren that run the winery and Olive farm today. It was a great place to visit and relax for hours while tasting wine and enjoying the scenery. The drive was interesting with Google directions taking us winding through paths that were narrow driveways but once you see any of the signs with arrows for the winery follow those and they will lead you there!
A lovely family-run winery with hidden gems that every wine lover in Crete should visit! The owners were polite and made us feel so welcome. We had a nice tour of the winery and then enjoyed a wine tasting outdoors with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Each wine was unique and full of character — especially the Theon Dora White, the Great Mother White, and the Kotsifali!
Such a wonderful experience. The entire family was so sweet, and passionate about wine and olives. The tasting was marvellous. I’d highly recommend getting the olive oil tasting, as well as the cheese and pie boards in addition to the wine tasting, as the pairings were perfect. My friends and I had a lovely time and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Crete.
lovely, small family owned winery, with an amazing vibe and view! great tasting menu of wines, olive oil all grown in the family’s farm and fully produced, bottled, corked in house. The Stilianou family members themselves welcome you, serve the wine, oil and food and explain everything. The wines and olive oil are delicious as well - we bought back a few bottles and cans back with us! Definitely recommend going!
Wonderful wine and olive oil tasting experience! The family was very kind and welcoming, the six wines and virgin oil tried were tasty, and countryside views lovely. Genuinely one of our favourite wine tasting experiences as felt quite relaxed (not rushed, and we stayed a little over an hour but could’ve lingered more), and we really enjoyed trying all wines (and even bought one bottle to continue enjoying afterwards). We pre-booked but might not have needed to. They also have cheese and pie plates available that can accompany the wines. It was easy to find and park, though the town next to it did have a couple smaller roads (fine in a compact car).
One of the best wineries in Crete. We had an amazing experience. Quality wines with a full-bodied taste. A family-owned winery you simply must visit.
The tour and tasting was so lovely! The wine and olive oil Is absolutely delicious. The owner and family are also so sweet and knowledgeable. One of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon!
Charming winery with delicious wines! Great experience, €12 for tasting of 6 wines, €3 for olive oil tasting. We did both and were very happy.
