Fabulous and very friendly sauna complex about 35 minutes south Bonn. We went on a Monday and it was clear that this is a favourite place for locals to meet up, relax, sauna and swim, then out into the gardens for some sun. Even on a sunny March day, the garden had lots of us enjoying the late winter sun. The saunas are large and the Aufgüsse (sauna ceremonies with a sauna Meister who gets the heat up and 'pours' it over you by using a towel) were very well attended (over 40 people in the first one of the day) and exceptionally good. Remember that in Germany, saunas are without clothing. You must sit on a towel, but you may not wear swimming trunks, costumes or any other clothing. You will see other naked people and they will see you. Nobody bats an eyelid, nobody gawks or stares, and all ages and body shapes and sizes are represented. Probably equally 50/50 men and women. The restaurant upstairs was wonderful! Huge selection of food from salads and soups, to more substantial local delicacies. This is the only part of the complex that you need wear something; most people wear a dressing gown. In some saunas, you wear a chip wristband and everything you buy, such as drinks or food or massages, gets charged to that and you settle up on departure. Here you get a little slip of paper and everything that you buy during the day is written on it, and again, you settle up on departure. They warn you to keep this in your locked locker till you actually need it, as there's a hefty €80 charge if you mislay it. We found the staff were very professional and helpful, and this sauna is much more reasonably priced than many - a whole day is just €31. Bargain!
Nice sauna with especially good value for money. There´s some reconstruction going on with stuff being updated, which is necessary. The outdoors is huge, so in summer you´ll always find a spot. There could be 1-2 more saunas however.
Me and my partner were wondering what sauna to go to here in Bonn were we could spend a relaxing day and the Panorama sauna was definitely a good choice! The personnel is friendly, the installations are clean, there is an assortment of saunas to choose from with different temperatures and humidities. The special infusions were great! The audience is mainly older (50+) but we felt every well received and free to walk around living naturism at its fullest, it was a pleasant experience. ** Only down side: you need a bathrobe (towel is not enough), or to be clothed to access the restaurant (kinda understandable). And their coffee was really bad 😞 - but the food overall was great!
I had a good time. clean and big complex. But I was missing some cosiness.. Also the rest area on first floor is kind of cold.
Great place. Lots of saunas, Whirlpools and pools. Facilities are extremely clean. The Garten area is lush, green and beautiful. Plenty of lounge chairs, both inside and outside. The price point is great. Really love this place. 👍
A lot of welness posibilities ... Good quality ! ... If you can... Avoid the WE's!
Independent Sauna area. Lots of different choices. Nice location.
Always nice to spend a day there.
