Beautiful church. No photos allowed.
Unfortunately at that moment the UNESCO heritage wooden church of Plopis is under a major renovation process and it is closed for visitors. The renovation is done with European money so I can assume that at the end the old church will look as good as the newly renewed wooden church of Surdesti.
Antique wooden Church with a beautiful painting and surrounding though that's graveyard it's beautiful The woman there ask 5 Romanian lay for the visit
The The Church of the Saint Archangels Mihail and Gavriil in Plopis is a UNESCO site. We came in too early. It opens at 10 am so we didn't get inside. Driving the narrow streets of the village is a bit of a challenge but as there's not too much traffic it's manageable.
Beautiful restored church in a nice surroundings.
Is the biggest Oak Wood Church in Europe, UNESCO monument, i live near the church on a traditional wood house, build around 100 years ago, we restaurated and moved to our land... best place to live 🥰😍❤️
A true masterpiece in wood crafting. Inside paintings are still in the original shape and the church is still in use by the local villagers.
The church is under rehabilitations but it’s a UNESCO monument which is worthy to visit
