I had the pleasure of visiting Champagne Lallement Massonnot, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The team's passion for their craft was evident, and they provided fascinating insights into the aging process and the intricacies of Champagne production. The tasting session was the highlight, showcasing their dedication to quality and tradition. A big thank you to Marie and Xavier for their warm hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic and enriching Champagne experience, this is the place to go!
I would 100% recommend a tour at Lallement Massonnot! We had a wonderful tasting and thoroughly enjoyed getting to learn more about the vineyards and the champagnes. They are so delicious and we left with a few boxes. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Epernay or Reims— only a quick taxi or uber away! Everyone who works there is so lovely and made the experience well worth it
If you're looking for champagne that you don't find everywhere, with a greater deal and better quality like me, Lallement Massonnot is the place. We wanted to join the tour but it's not available on the day we went, Marie, the owner, recommended us to visit the tasting room instead, I'm glad that we were there! We tasted 3 different champagnes and they are all lovely. Throughout the emails, the owner was very helpful and warm-hearted, I felt her passion for the business and she stepped extra to promote the champagne to different customers. It's nothing like other supermarket-well-known brands, you wouldn't feel very welcome when you visited their wineries, they mainly targeted the big supplier type of customers, it's nice to see the place but the whole experience is different. It's more personal here, the champagne isn't just standard quality, it's outstanding and the price is good. Make sure you visit here as part of your trip to Champagne! It's worth it.
We had the loveliest private tour at Champagne Lallement Massonnot today, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Our guide, Faustine, made the whole experience – she was so knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate. We learnt loads and it all felt relaxed and unhurried, which made for such a wonderful afternoon. The champagnes were all delicious, but the standout for us was the five year old that was just exceptional. We enjoyed the tasting room above the vines with Reims Cathedral in the distance – such a stunning setting – and followed it with a walk through the vineyards, which really added to the experience. They’re also very dog friendly, which was a huge bonus for us – Bertie was made to feel completely welcome and part of the afternoon.
I had an absolutely amazing day! I had the pleasure of visiting the Champagne house Lallement Massonnot and enjoyed not only a tour but also a nice lunch and tasting. The whole day was perfectly organized, the hosts were super kind, and everything was presented in a very interesting way. And not unimportantly, the champagnes were very tasty! Thank you, Team Lallement Massonnot, for this amazing day!
We wanted to do a day trip from Paris to the champagne wine region and we were looking for small producers who could give us a personalized experience. Lallement Massonnot was the perfect first stop in our day. Marie, one of the proprietors, gave us a complete tour of the property. She explained how the growers in the region cooperate to produce the finest of products, yet have to navigate the complexities of meeting the needs of each grower individually. It was a fascinating way to learn about the business from behind the scenes. Marie’s English was impeccable and we learned so much. Then came the best part - the tasting! We sampled a variety of their champagnes and loved them enough to order some to be shipped home. Delicious! Marie also helped us connect with another small grower in the region for our second stop of the day. This is a true family operation that is passionate about wine making and clearly cares about their customers. Lallement Massonnot made our trip to the area amazing!
As we are travelling around France with our superbly friendly Leonberger Lola, we always research 'dog friendly' things to do. In Epernay we were, of course, keen to do a Champagne Tour and we found this one, that would allow dogs at their Champagne Tasting Tours. We booked in and met Marie and Xavier, the young couple now running the Family Vineyard. Marie conducted the tour and was extremely knowledgeable. She told us all about the Le Meunier grapes and how they mix them with the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes to get champagne and explained the labelling of "Premier Cuvee" and "Grand Cru". There was so much more that Marie taught us on the tour and then we did the champagne tasting, of their label. We had the choice of any of their 6 champagnes. We selected three of them and they were all superb! So good that we left with 3 cases of them on the back seat of our car. Can absolutely recommend this tour and vineyard to visit whilst in Reims / Epernay, you wont regret it.
I visited this amazing boutique champagne house a year and a half ago and not only fell in love with their champagne but also their story. Every interaction is a lovely experience. I love sharing their delicious champagne with my friends and the memories.
