Great place for camping and craic,
What an absolute kip. Waited 10 mins on arrival for someone to open the gate. When we got in, we were charged €50 for one night! €30 would have been too much..... The place is filthy. 3 gents toilets for the whole site and no urinals. No blue paper or hand towels in the ladies toilets. My wife asked for some 3 times and none appeared. There are no lights in the cubicles after dark and a birds nest in one. Getting out was harder than getting in. We waited at the gate for someone to open it. Nothing happened. You have to go up to the shop to get the gate opened. This contravenes all health and safety standards. When leaving this morning there was a red van blocking the exit. We asked why and were told it was to "stop people leaving before checking out". This has never happened us before on any site. Do yourselves a favour, do not stay here!!!!!!!!!!
Great entertainment clean facilities. Staff and owner very friendly and more than happy to help with anything.
Always have a great time here. Last night was great. The place is lovely All new shower and toilet facilities. Lovely indoor play area for smaller kids. Once again a lovely weekend. Well done Dermot and all the crew 👏
Very awful experience, we slept in a parking lot with very poor services and facilities for 30€, plus the man in charge of the place robbed us of 10€. We paid him 40, he told us that he didn't have the change and that he would have brought it the morning after, but instead when we called him he claimed to be in Dublin, even if someone opened the gate when we were about to leave, and that he could've sent us the money (to Italy??). Never camp here, one of the worst experiences of camping in our life
We went camping this weekend here and our tent got destroyed with wheather and infairness to the Manger Dermot,he was very nice and accommodating and put us up in a cabin, heater and everything in it so we didn't have to go home with kids It was perfect.Staff were so lovely and place is great loads of beaches close and things.Disco every night for kids was great food was lovely,we will definitely be back 🏕😀
No water , bathrooms with no locks on doors. black widow spiders in cabins, blood marks on mattresses. very rude staff ,bathrooms never cleaned. no keys to doors in cabin ... Smells like alcohol in cabin. Chip-pans never cleaned out. And Dermot was also very rude I will never ever go again!!
Spent August bank holiday here, kids had a fabulous time entertainment for them was very good plenty to do to keep them occupied, facilities were basic but kept very clean and as for the staff they were very friendly and always willing to help out in anyway they can. Will definitely be returning again next year for a bit longer next time.
