They opened up for the season this weekend. It was packed. They have a great selection of veggies, and fruits. All the great pies, fritters, turn overs, cider, apple slushies, and apple doughnuts are there. Great treats. Stop in and get some super treats.
Many apples, salsas and jellies options to choose from. They also had tomatoes, cabbage, raw honey and squash. They also have a bakery with many options to choose from... apple pie, blueberry pie, cherry pie, apple bread, apple Fritters, apple turnovers, apple donuts, apple cake and a few choices of cookies to choose from. For refreshments their was apple cider, coffee, apple and peach slushies.
34 years+ serving the community and neighborhood and we're happy to find them and Load up on Honey crisp, Gala Apples, Apple cider, apple donuts, apple fritters and, and 😂. Come and fill up neighbors.
We love this place, we've been coming here for almost twenty years. This time we spent almost 100$ in baked goods. 😆 I'm kinda nuts for the turnovers, and thanks to my wife for waiting in line. We didn't order ahead, but that's a great option if you don't want to wait. This time we loaded up on the Rome apples which were fantastic, and my wife an incredible batch of apple sauce with them.
This place is amazing! Only open August 1 thru Christmas Eve. They offer several varieties of apples, along with other fruits and veggies. But the big thing is the bakery. Homemade desserts made daily from the fruit grown right there. Fritters, apple turnovers, apple donuts, apple nut muffins, pies, apple cake. Oh man! It's all so good!
We arrived around 11 am on a weekday and the place was packed. There was about a 30 min wait in line. But, oh, was it ever worth it! Besides all the varieties of apples available there were shelves full of jellies jams and preserves. The wait in line was well worth it. Cookies, breads fritters and apple turnovers were "off the chain!" Fantastic! The apple pie was the best I've ever had and at 70+ years old, I've had a few! We highly recommend Barber's Orchard!
Barber Orchards it great! It's usually pretty busy because they are so great. If you don't want to wait in a line and are going for specific baked goods its best to call ahead and place an order for pickup
Every single time we go to Cherokee, on the way home, we stop at this orchard. Each year, it gets busier and busier, but the great prices and large variety only improve. However, the bakery staff were quite disappointing, moving slowly and with a sluggish pace. For an extremely busy place, it was unfortunate to see the lack of optimization in the staff behind the counter. We've never waited for so long, nor seen the line so large. It would be worth reevaluating the bakery staff roles to maximize productivity. Either way - I'm still planning on returning, the warm apple turnovers and donuts simply can't be beat.

Wonderful experience. There was some free tickets and my 11yr old son and I were able to enjoy our first live theatrical experience. He is now interested in theater 😄
We attended Almost Anything. There were approximately 30 cast members. This was a professional quality play, by local volunteers. The use was great, and the cast singing was outstanding. This is an excellent way to spend a few hours. Haywood county is lucky to have this level of entertainment.
Spectacular production of "Death of a Salesman" Amazing interpretation of script by top flight talent. Beautiful building in a fine setting with hospitable front side of house staff.
Had a lovely time at the matinee on Saturday. Currently, performing Anything Goes. Facilities are very nice! Good views from the audience. Talent was excellent in a community theater atmosphere. Singing, tap, choreography. Good set design and awesome costuming too! Good selection of refreshments. Bathrooms are in good clean order.
I. Hate to put one star down. But normally heart theater is absolutely incredibly wonderful. But unfortunately I was exposed to the worstage music. I have ever seen in my 65 years, the screeching and howling of. A little night's music is unintelligibly. Inaudible, there's no understanding most of the music. My mother and I come almost every month and that was the waste of a $100.
Broadway caliber theater company and live orchestra (as available). My wife and I went to see A Little Night Music and were blown away. A must-see venue when you're in Waynesvile-Asheville area -- you won't regret it, especially because the venue mixes the highest quality performances with a unique personal charm dound only in small towns
I have attended over 100 community theater productions across the South, and unfortunately, the Lizzie production was the most disappointing experience I’ve had. We attended while on vacation, excited to support local theater, but were taken aback by the excessive vulgarity and the strong push of social and political themes. In my opinion, theater should entertain and inspire—not make audiences uncomfortable with extreme content. This production went too far, and it greatly detracted from the overall experience.
Went for the farmers market but the grounds were so beautiful can't wait to catch a show here.

This quaint gallery is off the beaten path and a gem. Bright airy and full of beautiful pottery. Had a chance to see Cathy throwing pottery and visit with her a bit. Very nice experience and love her pottery. Helped make my trip to Waynesville all the more awesome!
Such a sweet find. Owner has a great eye. A must visit.

Tina the Museum Host and Assistant Manager Was lovely, She gave me a nice tour of the gift shop and Event center. It definitely is a great place to Host Wedding and Small Corporate events. Beautiful Home from the Mid 1800s.
An excellent and informative tour was given by Morgan, the managing director. Truly a gem of a museum, preserving not only an historic home but also the cultural handicrafts of Western NC, skills which are increasingly under threat with the rise of technology. We are lucky to have this museum, which preserves and protects our heritage! You can support local businesses with a visit to the gift shop. Also, the grounds would be a perfect place for a picnic.
This place is definitely a treasure! Our tour guide (Miranda) was a wealth of information. Thank you again!! She stayed late to accommodate our family and we were able to see a beautiful piece that was hand crafted by my ggg grandfather. Well worth a stop or better yet, plan a visit! Loved every room!
My Wife and I went. It’s interesting and the woman who gave our tour (I think she said she was the director as well) seems like she is very passionate about it so she kept the tour very engaging. Admittedly, I had no idea about any of it and wasn’t very interested in going but my wife wanted to so I took her. Very quickly I found it interesting after the tour began. It was fun and my wife enjoyed it so no complaints. Its definitely worth the visit.
What a wonderful place of history & enjoyment. The home is so well preserved & the furnishings are in amazing! It is so gorgeous, I am planning on volunteering along with the manager & her assistant to be a docent.
The farmers market was a Little small, but we did arrive at the end. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Open every Saturday, this week we hope to start our trip earlier
Went to the arts and crafts festival +famers market great day good food good people
The start of the Tinsel Trail. Lighting and concert was excellent. Hot chocolate and cookies were a welcoming touch

We stopped by on the way home from TN, and this place is awesome. Plenty of great items to buy, and the people there are amazing. Definitely plan to stop by again on our next trip!
We were greeted at the entrance by a charming cat named Smoky Joey. He accompanied us through each section, entertaining us with his purrs along the way. It's an interesting place, and I found a couple of things here that I hadn't seen before, including lots of old Christmas decorations, photographs, and postcards. While it was raining outside, we had a great time here.
Pretty terrible antique shop with a rude owner; prices not on most items- if you bring one up to the front without a price be ready to wait 10 minutes for a foolishly high price. Items not worth 5$ asking 40$ or higher. Even dumber, he might decide he doesn't even want to give you a price because "that shouldn't be out for sale". To cap it all off, smelled like a wet basement with a rat infestation. 1/5 will not return.
Overall very nice antique shop and very friendly people. Just make sure if you're purchasing a pricey cast iron skillet from the Large cast iron booth area that you check it completely for spinning and wobbling because he will not accept returns. Hopefully my oversight will help someone else out in the future.
One of the best antique malls ever, plus the sweet ole kitty cat is such a nice boy. They have a huge selection plus it’s kind of a museum. The antique dresses and clothing mixed with beautiful furniture pieces and collectibles. They do an exquisite job of curating this store. Bought several pieces and will be back for more large furniture in the future. We were visiting Cherokee and decided to drop in so we weren’t prepared to buy anything large. It is worth the trip from Chattanooga for this store alone.
There were a lot of cool treasures in this store, including this adorable cat sitting in a little rocking chair. Made my day.
Sutton & Son's Antique store looks like a trashy dump on the outside but inside is a large building full of high quality antiques and some rarely seen and hard to find items. Parts of the store look like a museum. Prices are high.
What a gem of a place! My daughter found this free to play pinball machine while we were visiting. Lots of quality things here that will take you back to the years gone by! And still great to visit a year later!

Wonderful gallery, lots of amazing artists and very friendly staff! Although we live over an hour away, we will definitely be going back.
A great variety of artists at great rates. They were so friendly and helpful. They welcome dogs too! Thank you!
Amazing store. Helpful and happy staff. Beautiful art! A must see.
Fantastic Gallery of many local artists; reasonable prices.
An excellent place for one of a kind decorating items and ideas.
Saw two pieces that I paid more for elsewhere. Should have visited sooner.
Wonderful selection, helpful staff, and low prices!

Beautiful views, and much closer (from Maggie Valley) and easier to get to than Max Patch....just make sure you call ahead to make sure they will be open!
The access point for this trail is indeed closed. Sadly there are two yuppies who have made it their goal in life to make it so you cannot access the hike and enjoy some nature. They are quiet rude, and will try to ruin your day if you drive down the gravel road. Don’t go unless you want to deal with unpleasant humans.. Their names are James and Don (Donald) in case you wanted to know.
The hike up is a steep incline, and about 1.5 miles UP. Beware! The views at the top are pretty nice, but it's just so much work to get to the top.
Best to Google Purchase Knob Learning Center, off of Hemphill Road, not the other way.
Just park on Hemphill rd at bus turn around and avoid disturbing the guys in the house on the right
Loved this place. Was able to use a jogging stroller. Beautiful place
Spent 2 hrs trying to find it and took us to two different dead ends. We never ended up finding it.
You can't get there,it's a confusing drive with worse directions.

Fun place to pop into! Excellent selection of vintage/antique glass! Really loved how many blue ball canning jars they had!
Absolutely wonderful guys! The work done was outstanding they were a pleasure to do business with! Lining up more projects for them!
Awesome staff, great unique items and collectibles! Would recommend stopping by!

this place is packed full of treasures. prices differ from booth to booth, but you can find some deals for sure! come ready to spend a long time looking through everything.
I love love this place! The owner's are precious, and the booths are impeccable. Next time I will make photos, because there is always a next time. I will make a couple of photos right now of my latest purchases. BRB!
Do you need an old saddle? China like grandma had? A butter churn? A Shirley Temple doll? A fur coat? Go to this mall and buy em
If you want an antique mall that doesn't allow dogs, this is the place for you. Just about every place we went into in Waynesville was pet friendly. This place is not friendly. Off my list forever.
If they don't have it, it probably don't exist! This place is huge, with a lot of variety, and the prices are very reasonable. Give yourself plenty of time to explore every nook and cranny. Lots of parking, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
They Always have great stuff!!! We always find something we want!

We took our toddler, 7 year old and 1 year old there and while we were the only one's, they had a blast. 4 blow ups but they loved every minute of the 2 hours we were there. It would be cramped if there were several groups there but we enjoyed it. The owner was amazing and friendly. We will be back!
Great fun for all the kids. Even my 18 month old was able to play safely and have a blast. We went to a birthday party there and can't wait to go back again! Nice facility and staff was nice.
I recently held a private party for my daughters birthday here, and my family and all of our guests had an amazing time!! The slide alone was worth it. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Will definitely return in the future.
The kids had a fabulous time. The only drawback was for parents with small children. It would be better for there to be an area designed for younger children. The parents should only need to watch their own children and not the larger ones to make sure they don't hurt the small ones.
We have been coming here for the years! The owner is so sweet & makes everyone feel welcomed. The place is very clean and my kids had a blast!
Great place for birthday party's!
Great little place to let the littles run some energy out on a rainy day. Very reasonable and only 2 other kiddos there today. This business is now called JumpAround. This Google listing is old. Their phone number is under jump around.
This is a local fun house in the Balsom Comunity in Jackson County NC. They have 4 big bounce play areas in a warehouse style of buildings. Inexpensive fun time for small children.

Couple owned antique store. Having the owner assist you allows you to find an agreeable price even though many of the items were priced reasonably. The store is very organized with many genres to choose from. I was able to make purchase several items at a great price.
This place was once someone's residence. Could have been 10 years ago or 50. Idk. But a small house is absolutely cram packed with every conceivable nick-nack and what-not. Really, there's a lot to look at. Not an antique expert, but I would say they have reasonable prices. Probably have something in there you can't live without. The owners seem nice enough. There's stuff out back to look at as well.
Wonderful little gem of an antique shop! The shop owners are so kind, and so knowledgeable, I spent almost an hour looking through mid-century bark-cloth fabric, vintage patterns and sewing notions that I barely scratched the surface! Could have spent so much more time, will absolutely have to return!
This is a true antique shop. The owners are very knowledgeable and well versed in antiques. They have a wide and varied selection of vintage items. Most of them are high quality. If you are into antiques this is the place in Haywood county.
Very sweet people and they have every square inch of the store covered with little treasures! You just keep finding interesting things no matter where you look and look again! Highly recommend you stop by when you have a few minutes and just explore!
The place may look small, but every inch is quality. I will definitely stop in again next time I am passing through.
Single owner store which was packed & jammed with lots to choose from - especially jewelry. You will probably not find a "sleeper" here - the owners are knowledgeable and everything is priced accordingly.
Place was very cool! Lots of nice stuff. Unfortunately the owner of the store was out for an indeterminate amount of time, and someone absolutely unhelpful was in their stead. He seemed somewhat friendly but was on his phone for the duration of our visit and couldn't assist at all with items in the outer two buildings. At present I wouldn't really recommend a visit however we may give a second chance- hence the "mid" 3-star review.

One of the best antique stored I've been to!
Quaint little place to find antiques and things in a rather lovely historic district of town.
Very nice employees/owner! One of the best shops in Waynesville, the vibe in the shop is amazing, everything is laid out wonderfully and everytime you look somewhere you find something new that catches your eye. All products are priced fairly as well.
One of Waynesville's greatest hidden gems. There's so much to catch your eye and tickle your fancy as you walk through this wonderful shop. No matter your taste there is surely something there for everyone. It's always fun to take a lap and see what's new. The staff is very friendly as well, and they always seem to have great music playing while you browse their selection. Love it!
I’m rather ashamed to admit I spent 5 years in Waynesville without knowing this place existed(then again I don’t get out much). The store is massive with such a wide variety of things in a variety of price ranges. It’s the type of antique store where things are literally EVERYWHERE and you could go several days in a row and always find something new. The staff are welcoming and personable. I really can’t think of anything negative about Depot Village. It is a smidge off Main Street but absolutely worth the quick walk or less than a minute drive. Frog Level actually has a few cool places that all too often get over looked-this place being at the absolute top of that list.
Great antique shop in Waynesville . We had probably walked less than 50ft into the store and had already picked up 2 items . Fantastic tittle shop with tons of stuff to browse through. Ended up leaving with alot of small treasures even an old antique Chicken and Turkey Coop . Thank you Jan for a great antiquing experience !
Antique stores and consignment stores are always a higher dollar store, but I do have to say prices were reasonable. Selection was great. Over all a fun experience with polite staff, and the free coffee and cookies at the door were a nice treat!
TRULY the BEST place in Haywood !! I ALWAYS stop by! Everyone NEEDS to walk in and check out EVERYTHING if you're lookin around its hard not to buy it, AMAZING DEALS!! In the past I have looked around for a duster jacket and thay had it!! All I can say is CHECK THEM OUT, THANK You Depot Village!!!!

We love visiting the farmers market! It's a refreshing change from the grocery store—full of fresh produce, homemade goods, local meats, and friendly faces. The vendors are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, which shows in the quality of their products. It's more than just shopping—it's supporting our local community and enjoying the fruits of their hard work. Always a highlight of our week!
I don't think all the vendors were there due to the threat of rain...which it did. People were very friendly. A great place to buy local fruit, vegetables, honey, goat cheese and so much more. Will go again when rain is not in the forecast!
The farmers market in Waynesville was so cute. They had all kinds of local arts and crafts and foods and meats. Organic things. Oh it was amazing. It was so fun to just troll through. They had a crepe cart that I did not partake of but wished I had! They even had live music. It was all so well organized!!!
The epitome of small town life and regional feel. The produce, artisanship and overall offerings (gorgeous local flowers too) are top notch and as fresh as it gets. One of my favorite Waynesville things.
I've been going here for years! I love all the vendors old and new! Our fan favorite is the seafood guys at the end and we've recently fallen victim to the delicious treats from 4 sisters bakery!! Check them out on Saturdays!
Such a cute and vibrant market. Had a plethora of different vendors. Also dog friendly!
Amazing people, our first visit. You can get coffee, soap, bread, crepes, fresh veggies
