Known for its granite mountain, this park offers hiking, 2 fishing lakes, a nature center & camping.

The park is very pretty. I saw playgrounds and many picnic areas. It has nice easy trails from the nature center. We saw several deer and there is a creek that runs though it. There is also a paved trail around Alexander lake. I didn't venture further than that, but I will definitely go back.
I took my kids to Panola Mountain State Park to complete their Junior Ranger Program. Great space and well maintained. Surprisingly we only encountered one spider web on the trail. Plenty of picnic areas, restrooms, and space for group events. They have an area that's like an outdoor classroom. We picked up the junior ranger book before completing the book material. That way we only had to document the trail items as we were going. Took us about 30 minutes on the trail due to the note taking and exploration. Trail is less than a mile. They have several other activities here. You have to look on the site for the calendar. There is a bigger, longer trail for running, cycling, walking that is accessible from the nature center. The nature center also rent out bikes. The only criticism I have is the lack of marketing via social media for the park and their events.
Panola Mountain State Park is my go-to hike! I absolutely love this trail — it’s peaceful, scenic, and perfect for getting outside and recharging. The views are beautiful, especially with the sunlight over the trees and lake. My dog Moose loves it just as much as I do! There’s plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy nature together. Every time I come here, it reminds me why it’s one of my favorite spots in Georgia. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing, gorgeous trail to enjoy solo or with your pup!
Took my father and son here to fish, it's a well-kept park with plenty of room to fish. They have the upper and lower parts of the lake one part where you are allowed to use a paddleboat. They have pavilions, restrooms, trails for walking, trails for cycling, and offer overnight camping. $5 parking cash or online payment
Love that you can see the mountains and beautiful outdoors while hiking here they also have loads of fun things to do around as well as offer camping! Highly recommend for a fun day of exercise in the sun or if you want a relaxed picnic.
Pioneer campsite is really nice. Park Rangers are nice and supportive. However, there are not much activities to do their for the children, and the restroom is dirty (yes, it is, tons of mosquitos and flies).
This expansive nature reserve is very beautifully maintained with an abundance of scenic views. The must see area is the pristine monadnock granite outcrop - once a mountain or plateau many, many years ago in time out of mind. I imagine the park becoming a winter wonderland after a wintry snowfall. The Eskimos have a plethora of words for snow. Will the monadnock become a mountain again? Who knows?
I spent time at the Scout Lake (primitve) Campground. It was very clean and secluded. There's is about a mile hike in but worth it.

First time coming here it was my daughter's birthday. It was a nice family entertainment (bowling, arcade games, bumper cars) gathering. I'll probably do my birthday get together here also
I was recently invited to this Stars and Strikes location and was looking forward to a fun night out. Unfortunately, the experience fell short on multiple fronts. First, the venue feels outdated and lacks the inviting, family-friendly atmosphere you’d expect from a place that markets itself as entertainment for all ages. The presence of security checkpoints at the entrance gave the entire experience a more high-security, nightclub vibe than a place meant for casual fun or family gatherings. It immediately set a tone that was unwelcoming and off-putting. I ordered a Pineapple Painkiller from the bar, and upon first sip, I was extremely disappointed. The drink tasted like watered-down, cheap pineapple juice—completely unbalanced and almost undrinkable. I immediately brought this to the attention of the bar staff. One member informed me that they do not remove drinks from the tab. Another woman offered to remake it the way she prefers to serve it, which I appreciated, and I returned to my lane expecting a replacement. Soon after, another staff member came over and stated they could not remake the drink but could instead “add something to it.” I reiterated that the drink was simply not palatable, but I decided not to push the issue further. I paid for my tab out of respect, but this experience left a sour taste—literally and figuratively. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my business back to this location. Between the outdated setting, security-first atmosphere, and poor customer service around a simple drink issue, this visit made it clear that this Stars and Strikes is no longer a destination I can recommend.
Family fun environment. This place is packed on the weekends. You have to get there early, or you will be placed on a wait list. The staff was nice. We ordered pizza. It was your standard frozen pizza heated up. Good music is being played.
We had a blast ! Bowling , Laser Tag, arcade. The food was delicious. Its always a great time here.
Got the gold package for a birthday package said it come with 2 slices of pizza it’s a 8 person package meaning it will have 16 slices. We all know a pizza come with 8!slices They brought me pizza with missing slice and they claimed that there was 8 slices and that because the way it was sliced they can’t give me the extra slice like make it make sense. You can see where they cut a slice into 2. Who allows this after I spoke with management they said that’s just the rule. Ita also comes with a special on game card I get a 50% discount. However if you use the claw games it takes all the bonus credits.I was told I could bring ice cream and cup cakes and that they will put the ice cream in a deep freezer. When I got the ice cream to serve it was literally soup. I’m so disgusted with the whole ordeal. FYI package adds 18% gratuities to the final cost.
I’m a league bowler, and while practicing, my shoe cane broke apart. Lexi was super helpful and offered me a pair of shoes to finish my game on the house! The facility is clean, well-organized, and the customer service is top-notch. I'm sure you'll have a blast here – highly recommended!
Great family atmosphere. League bowling down on one end and open, hourly bowling on the other lending to everyone being able to have fun. The lanes were oiled well, and there were not too many mechanical issues with ball return. This was my first time there, and I highly recommend it.
This place has REALLY improved since the last time I had been there several years ago! Wow! Still don't really like the kind of people that hangout on the outside sometimes to smoke but... it's gotten a bit less ghetto.

I had a great time here! It’s such a cute place and the tulips are beautiful!
We enjoyed our time at Yule Forest! General consensus was the ticket price was expensive considering you-pick tulips are an extra $20. But I will say the area was cute with plenty of things for young children to enjoy. There’s a dinosaur show, the tulip fields, lots of little play areas, coloring area, and bubbles. There was a hay ride but it’s more just a short tractor ride. Tulips were beautiful but it’s probably about 12 rows of tulips so think nice garden rather than field. If you want to pick make sure you get there early as the you-pick field is small and they sell out on a busy day. Plus early bid gets the best tulips! All in all I’d say a good trip with kids but maybe not worth the price for adults. Note, kids tickets are just as expensive as adults which seems silly for 5 and under. Not a lot of shade onsite so be prepared for a sunny day.
I paid for VIP and took a 10 am slot (first group) back in February. The VIP ticket was around $37 dollars since I went by myself. I loved the flower picking and thankfully for the farm, I could follow instructions to pick ONLY from the area dedicated to the u-pick activity and actually give them back the scissors instead of holding onto them and just wandering around with them like others. I didn’t find a shirt I liked in my size, but I really enjoyed the vendors and food trucks there. Cost wise, it was good for a first time to a farm because I really liked just being outside in a beautiful area. Most of my time was literally spent chatting with vendors and a representative from Henry County. Aside from that, I didn’t care for the hayride, Dino show, or fun zone because I wasn’t a child and didn’t have a child with me. I plan to dry the tulips I picked to preserve them, and I also bought some tulip bulbs to plant from the farm. I would try again next year just to see if they have more varieties available. Aside from that, I genuinely had fun and it wasn’t an awful experience as some would claim purely because I did my research and got tickets early and for the earliest time slot during peak bloom. However, I do agree the pricing on some stuff is much. I saw some fake tulips for sale but the brand could be found in Michael’s. I think they could (hopefully) expand the u-pick field, or offer an all you can pick at the end of March (end of festival), where people could pick many of the tulips from the photo area. Though, I’m not sure if they already offer something like that since I went the third to last week.
If you aren't the first group in, don't bother going for U-picks! They will sell out and you won't be able to pick for any other times. They don't sell the cups online so there is no way of getting a cup if you aren't the first ones to come for the day. We drove 2 hours, I purchased their VIP tickets, chose a time frame and were able to go in to "view" the tulips like everyone else who purchased a standard ticket. If you want to go to view, then just buy the standard tickets. The free hay ride that goes around some pine trees and some wooden animal cutouts can be viewed from the tulip field so the unlimited hay ride was definitely not worth the upgrade to VIP tickets. The field is so small so everyone is crowded around, makes it pretty hard to take a photo without other people being in it.
Overall, the entire experience is just overrated and disappointing. “Festival” is just a very strong word. Please know this is a very very small event space. The Tulips for viewing are gorgeous, but it’s a small field. Absolutely Nothing like Gibbs or the Botanical Gardens. The “Artisan Market” was 8 tents? Hayride is a loop around a field - Last approximately 7 minutes. Maybe less. The Animal section is smaller than a bedroom. U-Pick cups are $20, in addition to tickets. So, if you get the VIP Tickets it will be $50/person. Then you’ll have to buy Food from the Food Truck Vendors inside ($12/Person minimum). The signage and instructions are very confusing. There are two fields and only one is for picking, but there is literally only one sign that says that, and it’s incredibly easy to miss. As long as you are anywhere near the Tulips, there is staff following you around yelling rules at you “Don’t do that. Don’t walk there. You should know this. They told you that” - It’s literally like standing at TSA. Not enjoyable at all. The whole experience was just strange. I would not recommend it at all. Again, the Tulips are gorgeous, but it just wasn’t worth it.
I tried going last year but as soon as I got there they said they were sold out so I waited to go this year. It took 30 minutes I kid you not, to go into the farm itself even though we bought tickets online. They raised their prices for entry to $17 and it was $20~ to even get to pick ONLY TEN tulips. They also DID NOT display the prices of the cups probably because they know people will buy it anyways so they can get away with it. And the pretty tulips were for the pictures only. I turned around and saw lifeless tulips and was like wow that’s what I’m getting? I only came here from the viral TikTok but there’s no reason for me to come again. It’s a one visit but not again. Also, it was $17 to get in, $20 to pick tulips, and EVEN MORE money for anything else they had in there. Admissions should have been free to where if you wanted to do something, then you pay for that. What do you mean I’m paying so much and what if I didn’t even want to do those activities? I’m not a little kid that needs to play with bubbles and watch a dinosaur show but anyways. TikTok overhyped this SO much it’s crazy. ALSO!! They have an extremely small sign telling you to only pick in the actual upick area and you’d have to walk a certain path to see it. They’ll give you an attitude when they see pick in the wrong area but um hello?? Have your workers TELL the people who bought a cup to only pick in that area. What a weird place.
i had a nice time until they opened up the normal big field to pick tulips. my boyfriend and i went to buy the $20 cup you must purchase before picking any tulips. we were never once told how many tulips we were allowed to pick so i just assumed i could fill up my cup. i picked about 12 and as we were heading out i heard one lady screaming “you can only pick 10” so another staff member came up o us and asked me how many i picked, i told her we accidentally picked 12 and i apologized because i wasn’t aware of the fact. the bitter lady took 2 tulips out of my cup and walked away without saying a word to me. also not much to do other than walk around.
While we were disappointed the u-pick tulips sold out, we understood that sometimes things just happen and enjoyed our time anyway. If you have kids, they had a lot of fun activities that your kids will definitely enjoy. The tulips were absolutely gorgeous and I’m thankful we were given the opportunity to take beautiful pictures with their tulips. Thank you for a fun experience!

Great walking/running trail. Too bad the city of Stockbridge hasn’t been keeping up with maintenance. One section has been closed for several months and you’re not able to walk the full trail.
Quite plenty of space loved walking with my wife...ohhh dog too..very relaxing..
Wonderful hidden gem is the midst of Stockbridge ! Very wooded. Like being in a forest at one point. Look for the surprise on the power lines mid way through. Be careful on the small wooden bridges when they are wet. Also, some bridges need repair, and are band aided with ply wood. Try start at the trailhead that is located at the beautiful Memorial Park off of MLK Heritage Rd. Shame on City of Stockbridge ! They are building a new trophy, not needed amphitheatre and leaving this beautiful place in disrepair???

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with the most welcoming smiles. From the front door to the concession area you can tell they love what they do… Ms. G is the best. She made sure we had everything we needed to make my daughters birthday the best!!!! I can't wait to share with my family and friends. we had a party of over 25 people and she accommodated all of us effortlessly. Ms.G you made my day and I am forever grateful. If you are thinking of booking a birthday package do it!! You won't regret it.
My grandkids love this place! I fell like the price of entry is a bit much but overall they loved it!
Vendor is a wonderful partner with GCCA (Georgia Child Care Assoc.). VNLA skates looked SO FUN! Wish I could have worn them to get around the conference!:)
Went to Starlight with my family last weekend 09/14/2025 and at first we had a few mishaps but the way Ms G stepped in and fixed everything as soon as she heard what was going on! She made went above and beyond! We also had a great time and the kids loved being there! Thank you so much Ms. G!
Ms. G made yesterday one of the best experiences of my immediate family’s life. No we wasn’t able to get a party room because it was so last minute but she made sure we got the same experience out in the open. Thanks for the accommodation Ms. G & we will be back soon. I can’t thank you enough! Bryson said this was the best birthday ever….
Place was really welcoming, nice and clean, and had a variety of things the boys i had with me could take advantage of! The manager was amazing, she went above and beyond when I misplaced my wallet and she didn't have to! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great back to school surprises 10/10 for us will definitely be back!
Round of Applause for Ms. Gee and her team. Our experience for my daughter’s 12th birthday was amazing. She gave us great recommendations and she continuously followed up and made sure we had everything we needed. We received top tier service. We will most definitely be back!! Thanks again Ms. Gee!!!
We had my son’s birthday party at Starlite Skating Rink last night, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Ms. G was extremely professional and made sure everything was organized and stress-free. Our party host, Jaylin, was absolutely superb—friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating to all of our needs. The kids had a blast, and I truly appreciate how smooth and fun they made the entire event. Highly recommend Starlite for any celebration!

My partner knows how much I love plantains so he took me here for the first time and just know, we come here at least 2 times a week. The ladies are sweet, attentive and never experienced a long wait for our food. No, it isn’t a red snapper but this dish takes me home 🇭🇹. Fish is well seasoned, was perfectly cooked and soft. Sweet plantain wasn’t too soft which how I love them. The RICE? just know I took my partners rice too. If you want to spice it up, let someone know 👌🏾
Somebody recommended this place to me but I did not like the pupusas because they were lacking so much flavor. But the place is nice & clean
I ordered the mojarra frita and the beans and rice were good but the fish tasted a lil old like if it was previously fried then reheated it had some tough parts so I guess if u order that just make sure it’s fresh and not overcooked
So we came to try some pupusas and they didn't disappoint. My fave was actually the chicharron with cheese was amazing. They are $4 and they a good big size. Ee tried the Colombian empanadas but they were ok. The horchata was really yummy but I think it sucks that it isn't refilled with costing $6 so they should.
I wish they did not increase the prices of their papusas because they’re not worth it for what they’re asking. I’ll eat 4 of them and still be hungry, that’s $16+tax! They’re not as big as other places as well. 8 papusas is over $32!
Good popusas, my only complaint is that the chicharrón con queso is mostly cheese and little to no chicharrón (photo attached). Noticed that tip is automatically applied, maybe that's why their service is okay. They offer water in a cup that tastes like faucet water (don't recommend it). Bottled water is an extra charge. Agua fresca de mango tastes like watered down jumex. Agua fresca de horchata was good and you can actually taste the cinnamon.
I had a really disappointing experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food might be okay, but the customer service was terrible. The woman working there was extremely rude, unprofessional, and made me feel unwelcome the entire time. A restaurant should treat their customers with respect, but that was clearly missing here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they seriously improve their staff’s attitude.
My entire experience here was horrible. Do not spend your hard earned money here in 2025. Upon entering, a hostess mugged me as she carried a mop and bucket away only to tell me to consult with the cashier. The cashier had already asked for my order but continued on the phone as if I weren’t there. A third waitress did the same thing. I stood there for more than 20 minutes for an online order that was already placed. Then had the gall to ask for proof or confirmation of the order. As a black woman, please spend your money where you are appreciated and valued. Do NOT spend or eat here. Food is half ass anyway no seasoning. The horchata was so chalky and full of cinnamon i literally could not. Money time wasted.

I can’t recommend Truly Blessed Daycare Center enough! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt the warmth and care from the staff. They create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. The staff is incredibly attentive, professional, and always keeps us updated on our child’s progress. The activities are engaging and fun, promoting both creativity and learning. We also love the open communication and the genuine care they show for each child. Truly Blessed Daycare is a true gem, and we feel so lucky to have found such an amazing place for our little one. Highly recommend!
The staff is super attentive to my child’s needs and they have a great learning agenda. This Mama feels safe knowing my child is in good hands, I’d give them a 10*** if that was an option💜
Truly Blessed Learning Academy is a wonderful learning center. The school is beautiful. The staff is warm, friendly and welcoming. I am so happy my grandson attends here. Keep up the great and amazing work you do everyday.
This hidden gem in Stockbridge is literally heaven sent! I love everything about Truly blessed Mrs. Celeste and Ms. Sabrina are the absolute best!! The way they care for the kids and handle business I love everything about them. I wish I could give beyond five stars!
My children love it here! We have tried multiple centers and I can say this one feels like home. The staff is so nice and very patience with my children. 10/10
All i can say is amazing. So glad me and my wife found this learning center.
If i could give it 10 stars I would. My kids just love going here. Thank y’all so much
