There’s folks are absolutely outstanding. From the first phone call I made Pete made it so easy to set up and answered every single question our family had. Once we made reservations and met up with our guide Randy it was just smooth as you could ask for. Randy was not just a solid guy but super knowledgeable and very kind. We chose the side by sides and the 4 hour tour. It was worth every minute. It was the perfect amount of time to spend with small kiddos to. We had the greatest time and the views were just incredible. We highly recommend this tour. I would guarantee any guide you’ll get would be outstanding. These folks take care of you and answer any questions you can think of. Coolest trip yet! Thank you all for being great people!!
My family and I booked an ATV tour and had an amazing time! We saw so many beautiful things. Our tour guide, Scott, was wonderful. He took us to areas where we could have amazing views of wildlife and the mountains. He had so much knowledge of the land, local history and wildlife. He was wonderful with my kids and ensured that safety and fun were his #1 priority and he didn't disappoint. Thank you for an amazing adventure and making this atv tour a highlight of our trip! The kids can't stop talking about how much fun they had!
My husband and I really enjoyed the 3 hour tour. Our guide was the best!! I think his name was Dean. The other staff member was great too. We loved learning about the history and geology of the area and the views are outstanding. Pictures don't do it justice! Highly recommend and would definitely do it again!
Great Experience. Great Staff! Highly recommend Play Dirty ATV Tours. We booked the Sergeant Nulph Tour. 2 hr tour in a Can-Am ATV side-by-side. You meet at the facility and they drive us to the trail where the rentals were waiting. You have a guide the entire time and it’s beautiful driving through the mountains. We went up into the mountains with awesome vantage points and then down into the canyon and along the Arkansas River. There’s points to get out and stretch your legs take photos and learn about the area. Very friendly staff that makes sure your enjoying yourselves and makes sure your comfortable with the speed of the ride. I would definitely book these guys again. Our family had a great time and it’s a great memory for the kids. Ours were 9 and 14. Book them now!
Scott was awesome from the moment we arrived. We were lucky enough to book a tour where it was only 3 of us for 3 hours. Scott showed us some pretty great views & was very informational on our stops! Our plan is go back and do the tour for longer and hopefully when Scott can be our guide again! Thank you Pete for your kindness when I called to book and talking to us after the tour. If you book anywhere in Colorado to do an ATV tour, book Play Dirty ATV tours! Thank you Scott for the awesome time & making our first ATV ride one to remember!!
Had an awesome time with our guide Rob, a veteran. We did a 4 hour and it was just us and him, he took us all the normal places and a couple out of the way. Beautiful scenery, went from river elevation all the way up to 9500 ft above sea level. Trails were not really difficult but really fun, had some steeper rocky areas and some great grassy plateaus. Overall great time. Highly recommend!
Booked the 6-8pm tour and it was great. Staff was very knowledgeable and made our trip memorable. New machines and trails were in well maintained condition. They have beginner to expert options. The views are amazing and hard to capture with your phone. They are veteran and first responder friendly. I would not hesitate to use Play Dirty ATV.
They got us in on very short notice and were very friendly and helpful. Our guide Scotty really made the whole thing worth it with his down-to-earth yet professional demeanor, history of the area, geological knowledge, etc. would definitely recommend. We did the three hour ride in a UTV side by side. Machines were well kept and ran perfectly.

We had such a blast on this trip. Our guide Jake was excellent and funny. The water was so cold but thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved that this company is Christ Centered and they pray with you and talk to you about Jesus!!!! Can hardly wait to book another trip in the future. Thanks Journey Quest!!
Our trip with Journey Quest was wonderful! Our guide, Brogan, did an excellent job taking us down the river and keeping us all safe, while having a blast!
Mark was an awesome guide. He shared stories wirh us during the slow parts of the river and kept us all on the right track in the rapids. I highly recommend Journey Quest.
We went as a Trail Life Troop - nine youth and three adults. Great rafting, kayaking, and rock climbing. The best guides (Josh, David, and Tim), who entertained and encouraged us with God's Word the whole time. Mark, the owner, and Josh took us down the Royal Gorge, which was amazing. Highly recommend for your family, troop, or youth group!
Our family felt like this was our favorite activity of the week. Our five-year-old granddaughter and our 13-year-old daughter had so much fun! Our guide was fun, friendly, and skilled! I fell in the river and he quickly responded and got me out quickly! We will definitely be back for more family fun!
Last May my husband and I took an 1 year anniversary trip out west! One of the highlights was Journey Quest - Mark our guide was exceptional! Everyone there was friendly and informative about the white water rafting we did that cold morning. I will be going back and maybe we will try the full day this time. As a Christian this place made me feel safe, especially as Mark prayed over our boat before we left and the encouragement felt during the ride. Personally, I did some mental, emotional and spiritual healing out on the water. If you have never done white water rafting before I recommended. Being out in nature makes you feel close to God and I was able to clear my head while rafting. Thank Journey Quest for now holding a special and precious memory in my heart!
Luke "Skywalker" 😉 was a great guide. We had a great trip and all of us enjoyed our time. Girls liked the river chickens. 😂 Will be back next July for sure.
We had a great experience with Journey Quest! Everyone was friendly and happy to see us. We had some dietary restraints in our group and they made sure that everyone had something to eat. The guides themselves were awesome too - they knew the river well and pointed out interesting features along the river during the slower parts between rapids. They even made the necessary safety talks at the beginning interesting and entertaining. Although we only did a raft day, I know that Journey Quest also leads hiking and rock climbing and I can only assume that those trips would be equally as well led. Definitely would recommend Journey Quest to anyone rafting the Arkansas River.

Went here in July 2022 for my first time rafting and I was super nervous. Our guide Tito was amazing! He explained everything and I knew I was in good hands. I can't wait to go again!
We took the rafting trip down bighorn canyon today. I've been whitewater rafting before but this was my first time in CO. This is the perfect beginners trip with a few class 2 and 3 rapids. The surrounding scenery was beautiful. You get to see so many different birds and animals and we were lucky to have spotted a family of bighorn sheep! You should arrive 30 minutes before scheduled time so you can get checked in and listen to the safety talk. Our guide Tito was seriously the bes guide I've ever had in my entire life. He shared so many interesting and funny stories with us and made the two hour journey down the river so enjoyable. He's also extremely professional and making sure we were safe. 10/10 would recommend this experience to anyone!
My family and I had another great time with Rock-N-Row. We’ve been rafting with them before (4 years running) because they’re able to accommodate my youngest child (11 years old). We were able to enjoy a tougher level of the river this trip (8 class III rapids) because my younger children have gotten bigger and stronger. It’s nice that we’ve been able to develop a relationship with some of the staff at Rock-N-Row.
This was our second time rafting here. They are very professional, take safety seriously and also know how to have a great time. Our son also went rock climbing with them this trip and it was also great! Justin was our guide this time and he was super!
Alan was the BEST! We had a blast with him. Great conversation and fun. He was a great guide and easy to follow. Plys, his jokes were outstanding. Spent about 3 hours on the river, got to see some Big Horn Sheep and did a rock jump into the water. Will be back again for some class 4 rapids next year!
Great first experience rafting! Our 7 & 11 year old loved it so much they want to do it again before summer ends & go back to school. We had Luke as our guide & he was super chill and nice. Take some cash to tip your guide.
My family and friends had a great time on our rafting trip with Rock N Row. Allen was our guide and he truly made our experience amazing . Allen was very friendly and funny. He made sure we were having fun while even entertaining our 6 year old son. I would recommend Rock N Row to anyone looking for an awesome rafting experience.
Aspiring lawyer, teacher, and mountain man. His name was Allen. (Dun dun dunnnnn!) Besides all jokes, Rock-N-Row was an absolutely fantastic experience! I would certainly recommend this company to any family or group to experience! It is certainly highly recommended to get Allen as your guide, he will turn your nervousness in to absolute laughter as you ride the tides! Be sure to stop by if you pass through! (Shout out to WhiteWaterPhotography for the awesome photos!)
