I stumbled across this spot driving Sunday and it did not disappoint. I’m so glad I stopped. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the store was very clean and the booths were set up nicely. If you need a spot to roam around for a little bit this is your spot. You can find some cool things in here. Will be recommending to friends and family!!
This is one of my favorite places to come shop for everything vintage and some new things as well.
This is a good-sized store, and it doesn't take too long to go through. There is a large selection of blow molds for Christmas and some for Halloween at several booths. However, the blow molds are located up high, and one can not see their prices. They have a lot of vintage Christmas and some newer stuff. Found a bag of pretty Christmas Ornaments. There are also some food items to take home: banana bread, cookies, spices, pickled items. Their Christmas Open House always draws a huge crowd.
Love shopping here! Always unique finds, plus the handmade items are my favorite! If you love vintage, antiques, and handmade goods, this place is awesome! Pets are welcome so I bring my lab and its located near plenty of places to grab some food and walk around for an hour or two! They even sell pastries and baked goods!
So many items here. You are bound to find something you love! All kinds of different vendors
This is the kind of place to meander for hours, finding one unique treasure after the other (old or new). The outside is very unassuming, but it's absolutely worth checking it out. I came, I saw, I bought, I'll be back.
Nice place but was unhappy with my purchase and felt like it was quite a dishonest sale. I ran across a Star Wars lunch box that I thought my brother would like. It looked rather modern with a vintage twist and I felt like the price of $25 dollars was reasonable since it probably came from a specialty store like the Lunchbox originally for $50/$60. When I showed it to him he informed me that he already had one. (No big deal) However his also included the price that was conveniently torn off of the one I purchased. He paid a whole $3.00 for his new. I understand that they can set their prices, but I really felt like a fool to believe an honest price is what was set for this establishment. Be careful what you buy.
always something interesting to find! my favorite is the soup starters both canned and the dry packaged. love finding the perfect gift there.

Fantastic way to browse away a Sunday afternoon! Whether you are looking for the perfect antique chair, a large armoire, a little piece of history, or a simple Christmas/birthday/wedding gift, the genuine Chattanooga Mercantile has it all! Take an older friend with you and learn about a few of the amazing things people used to work with every day to make things happen in our world. It will give you a new appreciation for the ease of which we manage today! Quality gifts, home decor, and more are unique and readily available!
Walked through this massive store while taking a break from driving through on I75. Lots of home decor, a few antique pieces but not a lot of them. Lots and lots of pretty stuff for your home. In an old mall, safe, owners are friendly. I was hoping for more actual vintage items which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Nice booths though, clean and well stocked.
They have more antiques than they did at their previous location. Great prices too. I also like that they are open until 8p. Makes for a fun date night.
I called to ask if they carry a brand (after looking online and seeing that google said they were open today) and they wouldn’t even tell me if they carried it for me to come another day. then she told me she would get someone else’s help and i heard him rudely stating “it doesn’t matter we aren’t open” before even answering the phone to speak to me. very rude and won’t be visiting now. below is a photo showing they were listed as open but answered the phone and acted as if i was a complete bother.
The only thing I'd change is that the ow er of the complex needs to redo the bathrooms. They've been woefully ignored. Ate at Mammie Carlotta's in the back of the Merchantile for my monthly ladies lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect for us. We had so much fun. Then got to go looking through all the fantastic booths with antiques, repurposed, etc items. Will definitely return!
HUGE. Make sure you're prepared to stay a while! Great finds, different pricing per booth, so if you find something out of your price range keep looking for others that are cheaper!
This place is amazing great deals on lots of merchandise you have to come by to see it.it has about anything you're looking for.has a great selection of Rugs large or small.
Items were unique, much of excellent quality. Large facility. Pleasant staff, most booths had reasonable prices. They had a restaurant and a small yummy looking bakery. A good selection of items ranging from cowboy slumming to palace elegant. A place worth the visit. You can easily spend a browsing hour or two.
