Seats are not bad and the GVC play was pretty good. Not much parking on site but plenty of parking nearby
The last time I was here for a show or venue was over a year ago. However, the building itself is inviting, with the arrangements of flowers planted out front is pleasing to the eye. If the event you are seeing is popular, you'll want to arrive early as seats will fill up fast. They could use more seating, but with that said, I've never heard that someone couldn't get in. Thanks PW Enns.
Great venue. Acoustics and views are excellent. Glad they allow school musical performances here. Love to watch the kids get to perform on a great stage.
Great acoustics & seating very comfy that you could see great from anywhere in the theatre.
I love attending the concert hall. Very clean, organized, and positivity in the atmosphere.
If you're looking for a venue this one is A Absolutely beautiful and stunning venue! Seats 500 people, it comes with professional lighting and sound. Plus another bonus is... Nicole Enns the venue manager is amazing to work with! A huge plus is that it's Wheelchair accessible which makes it a great venue for everyone!
We as a homeschool group have held 2 of our Christmas programs here, we have had good experiences there, friendly helpful staff, lots of room, good lighting and sound system. A nice piano to use.
Great venue for choirs and string instruments but not for the more rock type music we saw there, it was really loud and I moticedore then one person plugging thier ears, comfortable seats and nice layout, street parking as well as a parking lot but bathrooms are a bit awkward to find

Our absolute favourite family night! The staff are so kind! The pottery changes regularly so there's always something new to paint! The atmosphere is wonderful; great music playing and a relaxing space to unwind!
I loved my day at the Clay Owl!! Ivy was so helpful getting me set up, and helping me pick with cementing my ideas. I painted a mug for myself and was able to pick it up before I went home at the end of my vacation. I am definitely wanting to go back with some others and make it a fun time with friends!! ❤❤
Everything was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, I asked for help finding a good brush for petals and was provided one right away. Such a fun experience for everyone involved
What a cute little shop! We loved visiting and getting artsy. The staff was amazing at explaining the process and we had fun picking from the many options of items and paint colours! I went with a cute scalloped bowl and the girls went with a donut piggy bank and some knick knacks. For 3 of us it was around $60 and 2.5 hours worth of fun!!
Had a good time painting with my family. A little pricey, but the experience is worth it once in awhile. Would love to see more options for things to paint. Some kind of refreshment/snack sales would be a plus considering that painting our things took nearly 2 hours. Overall a enjoyable time that produces something tangible for your money/efforts!
I was invited by my son and his gf to try the Clay Owl. What a wonderful outing and experience!!! I'm now trying to convince my mil to try her hand at painting. What a beautiful way to spend a day with family. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. I intend to go back many times!
Very cute little place with a quiet, peaceful atmosphere! Very diverse with prices so you can paint something for $4 or $40 depending on your budget! Can also purchase pre painted stuff for gifts! Always an amazing experience!
Celebrated my daughters birthday at the new clay owl location. All the girls had a blast. The staff here is very friendly and they have a wide variety of items to paint. I would definitely recommend Clay Owl

Amazing pool with two awesome waterslides and 2 diving boards including a climbing wall right by the pool..So inexpensive too..what a blast!!!
Nice aquapark! Great place for family visit, water is clear, different depths, two funny slides, trampolines. Will come again.
This place would be 5 stars if half the things worked. I get why the hot tubs are taken out but the fact the kiddy pool and splash pad don't work all summer is pathetic. We pay enough taxes these things should work so our kids can get a better experience.
We made a special trip out to Winkler specifically for the pool and it did not disappoint. The kiddos (both 5) had a blast. Everything was clean and very well maintained.
Only giving a two star because the pool was great. The campground is a dump and not sleepable until well after 1 am due to a young couple arguing in the tent next to us and a party happening between 3 sites that was just a couple sites down. The bathrooms are a dump and the staff didn’t even know where we drop our garbage off. The pool was great. The price is unbeatable and the lady at the snack shack is super friendly.
Awesome waterplace to bring here all your family!
Nice place for the kids and beautiful park
Great place for the kids and for adults as well

Bowling alley

Slide 1 of 8
literally the best bowling alley. i have been to several others recently and came back to this one again nothin quite compares. 100% recommend the bowling alley if y’alls need something fun in your life
Arrive at least 10 minutes early for the special pricing. It is supposed to end at 4, but their til is 7 minutes fast, so my entire group was charged full price (which adds up fast). The manager said he couldn't do anything about it either, which was disappointing, and poor customer service. Read on for the positive... The mini golf would have gotten a 3 or 4 from the kids I brought. The area is colorful, the black light adds a fun touch, and there is decent variety on the holes. Parents will appreciate that the area is clean of debris. For kids with short attention spans, they have the option of looking over the railing to watch the bowling between holes.
Definitely a nice Venue but very disappointed in the food service. We ordered Nachos and after 40+ minutes I went to see if they were almost ready. They had lost the order so it took another 10 minutes. They didn't offer a discount or refund. The nachos were good so it made the wait a little less painful. I own and run a food establishment. We would have refunded the customer. The cashier said they were extremely busy but it didn't look like it and maybe food went to lounge area but not one other thing came out of the kitchen on the regular side while I waited.
Thought of fun activity on Sunday night after doing nothing all day looking forward to spending some time at the pool tables. When we arrived all tables were clear and not in use. This didn’t last for long, another group of people showed up taking the other table(they also did not have a reservation). This is completely fine it didn’t brother me whatsoever. But not even half a round in a man showed up claiming he had a table booked. So the worker overlooking the tables KICKED US OUT, which is understandable but they charged us $1.60 for the 10 mins we played. I can look past all this but the real kicker is that the group that showed up after us didn’t have a reservation and they got to stay even though we were first. I would not recommend. KEEP YOUR $1.60 Ts pmo
Nice place, pretty decent pizza. I would like a slightly larger entertainment area for children 3+ because this is the nearest entertainment in the city, where you can come in any weather. We entertain children for 40-50 minutes, then they start to get bored, especially 9+
A very nice place, the bowling was very enjoyable. I was very disappointed that there was no wheelchair accessible parking spaces or an elevator to access the mini golf on the upper floor. Being a newer place, I would have liked to see them design it more accessible.
No vegetarian options at all... The cheese quesadilla had literally only cheese no onions, peppers, avocado nothing.. Good was extremely bland. The mini donuts are horrible as well tasted burnt and barely any sugar. Service on the arcade side was awesome though compared to the Restraunt service. Wouldn't go back.
I experienced a 30-minute wait for service despite the apparent lack of customer demand; staff members were observed socializing instead of attending to their duties. Prior to my arrival, another table was waiting for service.

We went on a Sunday afternoon we enjoyed it,we saw different things and the people that were there were easy to talk to it made us smile and enjoy it more.
Really nice museum. We had a great time with our kids. They love history and this place is full of it. We enjoyed the maze, the parade, and all the activities around. Definitely a place to come back in the future.
Frozen in time. This place reminds us how complicated yet simple at the same time, life used to be for pioneers of this land. Many old artifacts that my parents in law can recognize its use, a lot of history that as kids we might pass as boring, we see now with different interest. History is knowledge and I'm glad we can visit this museum to remind us of it.
I went to the Thresherman's Museum this afternoon for a homeschool activity day hosted by some of the museum's volunteers inside the dining hall building, the homeschool children and parents dressed up as well as the volunteers, who were all in costume. We learned about: old time schools, how to card wool, use rope to tie various knots, grind cord with a morter and pastel, as well as making 'kring-el'. I would recommend checking this museum out in summertime, there are several old buildings to look through, varied activities, and demonstrations.
What a nice place to go and see things from another time. I am also proud to say my Dad volunteers here. Everything shows nicely.
This museum is an entire small village. Complete with main street, railway tracks, over a dozen heritage and non heritage structures, this museum is a great way to spend an afternoon or entire day.
I've been here twice and there is still more to discover. Great attraction with lots of buildings to explore as well as moving historic vehicles on special event days. I will revisit again for sure!!
I found this museum to be quite interesting, however it is significantly smaller then the Mennonite Heritage village in Steinbach. But don't let it's size fool you. They have an enormous selection of things to see, the sheer volume of items in their collection even made my head hurt just by thinking about it. But if ever in the region, the Pembina Threshermen museum is highly recommend to stop by and visit. Cheers.

Good prices for seniors and reasonable for concession. No fancy seating but comfortable enough.
It's not so bad. Seats are decently comfortable some are crooked. It's allmways empty so that's nice. It's cheaper than the city , picture and sound do the trick.
Dirty theatre! Nice staff...too bad that the cleanliness is an issue. Otherwise I think I would go often since it's so close by!
Just skip this place. Staff are rude and don't even know how to use their own tills. Theatre is falling apart, seats are hard, screen has creases, speakers are blown out. Criminal that it costs the same as landmark cinema grant park but the experience couldn't be more different between locations.
The movie did not start. Exorcist, was scheduled for 7pm on Thursday. At 710, there was still nothing, not even trailers. I went ask what was the problem, and they said there was an issue, so the manager would fix it. Nothing happened, and by 725ish, there was still nothing . Then when I talked to the manager, she hadn't even checked to see if it was actually working!!!!!!!! Then she said she would fix it. I went back to my seat, and then the movie was already playing from about 10 or 15 minutes in. Then I had to go back for the third time and tell her, the manager that the movie was already halfway in!!!! Then she had to go back and start it from the beginning. Now the movie itself finally started. With 3 trips for me to make sure it was going to get done and at least more than half an hour late, at the least. I was certainly not very happy.
In room 3 the speakers cannot be heard Well, they sound like a car stereo from the '70s. I don't know about the other rooms, but if you go with the intention of listening to a movie 100% like in a movie theater and not like at home or in your car, don't go into that room.
Can't remember the last time I was at this cinema, a year plus ago am guessing, but one thing I remember, at that show, it had the best popcorn ever! Fresh, crispy, salty, buttery flavour, tasteful, awesome! The kind, no matter how hard you try, you just can't replicate at home. It was one of the drawing features of going back last night. I was sooooo disappointed, the regular, no flavour, tasteless, dry, no crisp popcorn was back! Full movie experience was seriously hampered. I will pay more for the best! Please find your touch again!
It's not the fanciest or most exciting place. In fact the theatres have drop down ceilings and ceiling fans. Last time I was there I could see long cobwebs on the top of the screens. But the staff was pretty friendly and well managed. So it's a quirky, but fun experience coming by here.

Last night, our server Austin made our experience coming to winkler for the first time one to remember! She had a heart warming smile and an outgoing personality! Food as also good! We will definitely be back.
Our food was excellent. But when they brought us our coffee she never brought us a teaspoon to go with the coffee And there is no teaspoon on the table. I had to ask for a teaspoon which I did not think was right. I had asked for honey for my coffee I waited at least 10 minutes before the honey finally arrived while my coffee is sitting on the table cooling off. Also the person that brings your food is not the person that took your order. The meal in the picture is the Southwest Benedict.
We arrived at 12:00 it wasn’t busy when we arrived, one waitress brought us coffee and water after we sat down. However we waited 20min to get our order taken, I needed to call a waitress over because more people were arriving and they weren’t coming to get our order. We did not get our food until the end of the lunch hour 12:48. We had waited all lunch hour. I’d be more understanding if we had arrived and it had been busy. I did notice that it was only one waitress working at the start and no one else was around helping her until later. Food was good but I needed to rush and eat it. My nephew had to get back to school - he ate a bit in the 10 min we had and he took most of it to go. They should probably consider having more staff during the lunch hour I’m certain this is not just the waitresses fault and it takes everyone for things to go quick. That being said most people only have that hour during lunch to be away from work or school. Also eating out is more expensive these days paid $45 for lunch (breakfast style foods) if I had left a tip it would have been $50plus. I don’t ever complain much but cost into consideration. Winkler does have many places to eat that you can have your lunch comfortably within the hour.
We came as a group and reserved a table. Table was not ready for half an hour after the reservation time. It took them 15 min to ask us for our drinks. Our food order was delivered before anyone even got our drinks. No one came to check in our table until we asked for service. When it came time for the bill they asked how to separate it and I said I had the three and she said it was easier to do it separately and when I told her I wasn’t going to do three separate transactions it took them 15 min to actually figure out how to get our bills together.
Waited for 45 mins for breakfast To the point where my tea got cold and I needed a new one. Waitress rolled her eyes at me when I asked for cream as there was none on my table and got the server that took my order to bring it cause she couldn't be bothered. The after the 45 min wait got served a cold breakfast. And the best part the restaurant wasn't even full at the time we went.
Decided to try this place again after unimpressive food over a year ago. Same thing. Servers were quick to take order and it didn't take long at all to get our breakfast. The only part of the breakfast that was even slightly warm was the bacon. Egg,hashbrowns and toast were cold . They had buttered the toast but the toast wasn't warm enough to even begin to melt the butter. They did offer to make fresh plates but we didn't have time for that. They did also give us a small discount. Still over $33 for unsatisfactory meals. Won't need to try again for a long long time.
Started out alright but when we got our food we were asked if we would pay now as the server was ending her shift. Later on looked at the bill was charged for 2 drinks when we ordered 1. Asked for a refill when we were sorting out our bill didn’t get it until I asked a second time. Never got checked on.
Lucky me. Checked in at quality inn and Smittys had a lounge open till 11:00. That gave me 30 minutes to order. Wing night and a huge TV to watch LeBron become most points playing basketball. Ordered the wings salt and pepper. With a small plate of ginger beef. Service was top notch. Friendly and attentive. Ordered a Caesar and it came with bacon. The food arrived hot and perfectly cooked. Crispy wings and crunchy ginger beef. Along with 2 Caesar’s. So good I went for breakfast in the am. Shredded hot hash browns. Ham one egg. Toast and 5 dollar glass of milk. Service was fast .

Well maintained 18 hole course. Colton, Eric, Braedon and the rest of the proshop staff are super friendly and highly knowledgeable for whatever you need. Highly recommend checking out
It's a decent course, certain spots need some work. Bunkers are hard clay/sand. Nice layout tho and clubhouse is very nice!
Sometimes I golf good here and sometimes I don’t but I always try my best
Must say I liked their old menu much better, plus it was tastier. We had recently tried some food and it wasn't great, ordered the Italian bun with meat on it, well to me that's a hot dog bun with something like meet, well like a sloppy Joe. I would rethink the choice of bun and more meet. I wouldn't order it again.
08/22/2023. Very nice golf course. Newer clubhouse. The staff were friendly. Feel sorry for the golf course though as I am a rotten golfer. I would go back if the course would have me. 🙂⛳️
a long 1 1/2 hour drive from Winnipeg.. but worth it. challenging course is in excellent shape.. thank you Vic (pro shop) for readjusting our tee time.. (we were held up .. highway construction..for 15 minutes and, of course, were late for our scheduled tee time).. we were started on back 9 .. and so avoided all the golfers on front.. felt like we had the whole course to ourselves.. had mowers with us for 9 holes but they were pretty considerate.. would definitely visit more often if it was closer.. friendly community..
I really like the new greens that were updated in 2015-16. They make those holes much more playable, plus the renovations didn't even take that long. Great staff that knows your name and makes you feel welcome. Excellent value as well, whether you're a member or not.
Was our first time golfing. Some snooty golfers went and tattled on us for being slow. Worker comes over real smug and tells us we need to go faster. Since then I've gone to several other courses, all nicer and better maintained. Though there is quite an air of snugness still among the golf crowd. Surely 'tis a sport for the rich and sophisticated!

Great soups! Amazing freshly baked bread! My favorite is their Greek salad, it is the best I have had so far! Their kit Kat cheesecake is my favourite dessert! I have never been disappointed eating here! The atmosphere is great. I wouldn't count on the servers knowledge about vegan, gluten-free or vegetarian options. She was so confused by questions about the ingredients and gave very wrong information. Some think to keep in mind when you have allergies and specific preferences.
This is a cute little cafe and store. I had a salad and the soup. The soup was well seasoned and the garden salad was much larger then I expected for the price. The sandwiches looked really good with thick slices of bread but I did not have one. The store feels a bit crowded with so much inventory but it was fun to go through and "treasure hunt" so to say :)
Good place for a light lunch with a delicious dessert. They make the bread, soups and desserts fresh everyday and it is great! It's pretty feminine though so if you are too macho for that then you might want to try somewhere else.
I have visited here many times in the past 20 years. I grew up in Walhalla North Dakota so a visit home always includes a trip to Gingerwood Lane. Soups and home made breads are delicious! I have never been disappointed. Great place!
As far as tea houses go this place is amazing! The freshest bread you will ever eat, home made soups just like Grandma's, and beautiful cozy atmosphere. Perfect lunch spot!
Awesome home made bread sandwiches. Large assortment of desserts. Home made soups. It was worth the 1.5 hour trip.
An excellent place for the ladies that serves light fare and also has a vast selection of giftware and curios. My wife loves it. I'm rating this place on her behalf.

The Winkler Heritage Museum is a rented pace in the Southland Mall. It contains exhibits relative to the City of Winkler and its surrounding area. The exhibits relate to the people who live here, their businesses, their schools, their personal lives and their history. The curator is there from Tues. to Sat. (Hrs. 10 -3) Admission is Free! It is worth a visit! I visited again last week.
This museum is essentially a little village made up of restored heritage buildings containing various artifacts representing the areas history. It was extremely hot on the day we visited so we kept it short but there were many neat things to see and the kids enjoyed exploring the various buildings and asking hundreds of questions about all the old stuff.

A great place to have a blast LOL 😃. So glad it's also wheelchair accessible so my son can join in the fun. There is something for everyone.
Kids enjoyed it as usual, but was quite disappointed on the "pay out rate" settings for the cyclone and claw grabber, I feel that the 2 millisecond time frame for the cyclone is a bit harsh and the grabbing power od the claw for the teddy bear vending machine is set way too low. I get that a large portion of revenue is from the low pay out rate, but at the same time I feel like for some people it's a bit of a rip off as not nearly everyone is aware of the programmable settings on these arcade games.
The laser tag is very expensive the arcade games at laser tags costs 10$ for only 40 tokens. there is no deals no new games we did not like it that much the laser tag costs 8 dollars for like a short 10 minute game . In winnipeg at u-puttz amusement centre you could buy a gold wristband for 60 dollars and every is free included. Bumper cars, laser tag unlimited, mini golf, and 40 tokens in arcade games. I would suggest winnipeg u putts amusement centre better.
Rush laser tag was great! Wish they had indoor paintball so the noobs would cry when i shot em!! I guess lasers are more family friendly. Also the kid Eric is a consummate professional and makes sure everyone has fun👍
The laser tag is great but the arcade and time freak games are extremely lacking. Most of them are broken and in need of attention. Token and tickets system is inconvenient and takes a very long time to count up. Prizes are mediocre at best.
Expensive for the little you get. Better to go to winnipeg. 30$ a kid you get endless trampoline fun, jungle gym, arcade, wall climbing, laser tag, a ninja course, and much more!
Dec 15 We went together with a group from work and all enjoyed our evening. Had never been before but had fun playing Lazer Tag. Everyone was very helpful.

Have done two of their rooms, both times we had a blast! The first time we went one of the locks malfunctioned and opened when it wasn’t supposed to, but we got 15 min extra time and got it all sorted out. 😁Great activity to do with friends. Great to see more things to do in winkler. The lady was very nice and didn’t get impatient when we kept needing hints 🤭rooms were both well set up and planned out.
We had our company Christmas party here and we split into 2 groups to conquer the World Domination room. Lots of thought were put into this room. Some clues were easy but most of it you really have to think. We started out fine and towards the middle we had to get hints so we don’t run out of time. It was a fun experience! The facilitator was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back here.
We tried the time travel room. It’s really cool. And the owner of this place is the one of the nicest person we have ever met. Highly recommended this place if you love escape rooms.
Well, our crowd busied themselves within the confines of "Grandma's Kitchen." With some frustration, a few hints, a frenzied rush at the end, plus an extra minute of time, we located the prize. Worth the while, check it out. P.S. knackzoat not allowed in the escape room.
We had an absolute blast coming here. The room was very well planned and the service was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going here.
Great time at the escape rooms. Great way to start an evening if you're looking for something different to do in town. The rooms are challenging and fun. Only takes an hour.
Well worth the time. We went there, and all of us were there for the first time. But it was a lot of fun.
The Checkmate room was fun but too easy for an expert level room. there was no backstory or flow to the room. Worth driving to Winnipeg for an escape room.
