We try to stop in whenever we travel through Souris Summer or winter the bridge is fun and scary and the sunsets are an amazing sight update we stopped by again when the ice was just melting the wind was blowing and causing the bridge to sway my daughter was having so much fun my wife maybe not so much lol
July 6th, 2025. It was an interesting place to go. The new bridge is a lot more sturdy compared to the original bridge.
6$ to get in to see an old building? Cute little town. Nice campground on the river with a water park. The bridge was ok but I sure wouldn't have wanted to walk across the old one
Nice walk across the river and into town to wander.. stopped to have a slurppytype drink and ice cream..
great bridge to walk across at night, very stable and open to the public 24/7. town has alot of little shops and interesting things to look at also. would recommend coming here at least once!
This is a neat stop on our road trip! Don't forget to take a look at the original bridge (which is what I was expecting since the last time I was there was in 1997!)
Nice place specially in summer.... There is museum besides the bridge...
Bridge was clean and nice. The views were scenic too. We also went during night time really quiet and peaceful.

I really love the look of this building! Going inside and wandering around was neat as well, the museum has a crazy butterfly/moth collection.
So happy we heard about this place and went for a visit! Reasonable entry fee. Lots to look at and tours available. Close to many other attractions. Beautiful little town. Clean bathroom. No food or drink allowed inside.
Very enjoyable time and the people who gave the tours were really nice and very informative.
Great experience. Getting a tour was nice. Loved the history
Well worth the price of admission. My child and I both found many interesting items and saw some things we had never seen before. Knowledgeable, friendly, informative staff to make our visit a memorable one.
A great place, family friendly and a short drive to the nearest co-op. We attended this location on Halloween night when they hosted their haunted house. I love Souris for it's historical sights, amazing fired Pizza, and the wild Peacocks that roam the streets of the small prairie town.
Centuries old artifacts and lots of butterfly display. I love the castle.
Great museum! The kids that work there do a fantastic job on the guided tour. The butterflies were one of my favourite parts. Would definitely recommend it!

I love going into Legasse's! There is so much to see and everything from the soaps to the books are local which is so cool! I recommend checking it out! And if see Kathleen, who owns the shop, ask her about her art classes, I hear they are lots of fun!
A spur of the moment of art class @ " Lagasse's Studio of fine arts" while on our annual "Burch" Camping was a Huge success!! It was unique, while having lots of fun learning. We would strongly encourage others to seek out this little " Gem" of a store! Kathleen the owner was a excellent motivator!
This is a great place to shop when finding neat unique items for your home, gift, or floral for any occasion! She also has classes to join and you can make beautiful art :) highly reccoment stopping in!
Awesome customers service. Owner greeted me after I walked in, told me about the sales and where the art work came from. Very friendly and approachable. Can't wait to go back!!!!
This is great Fine Arts Studio for people that have everything! The unique items in this store are out of this world. You must come visit the store that has everything, that no one has. You will walk away with so many one of a kind pieces.
Art classes are excellent. Excellent instruction makes it super easy for first time techniques, comfortable environment, and love how much color choice I had. I've had 2 different classes and highly recommend.
Fantastic place, supporting and selling very unique handmade items from over 100 local artists and businesses. This is the perfect place to find a special gift for someone you love.
This place has some of the most unique things you can think of. The owner Kathleen is great. So helpful, insightfull and cheerfull. Art, clothing, food, jewelery.....Great place to shop local.

A yearlong late review on this museum: I stumbled upon this place by accident just walking in the park and just strolling around the streets after getting some sundae from a local cafe. This humble museum is heavy on history and its role in the development of this quaint little town that used to house former Canadian Northern Railway station. There are exhibits and artifacts as well as model trains. It is a beautiful learning experience for kids and grown-ups alike.
What a gem! This museum has a lot of heart and soul and staffed by volunteers who worked the railroad. You won't find another museum with so much passion and real stories and artifacts like this Call ahead and they can set up the train simulator. We were driving from Regina to Winnipeg and this was well worth the drive off the highway. Highest recommends
My daughter and I had a great stop. Small museum, a lot of information and history inside. Very kind staff made a memorable experience for us. Thanks so much!
Very well maintained park, good for family
Very well stocked with history. The gentleman who was working at the time was absolutely lovely and more than willing to share his first hand experiences.
A very well keeped and nice place to take in some train area history. They even have a train simulator as well! Very cool.
Passionate volunteers who love the railway are definitely a must visit.
Fantastic little museum. Lots of rail history.

A yearlong late review: If you happen to visit Souris, MB, make homage to it by visiting this beautifully made and well-preserved church originally built in 1893 and one of the oldest buildings in the region. As it stood the test of time, it also showed a lovely testament of the town’s early settlers when it comes to their community and faith.
The church part is cool because you can have weddings there and I also like the tea room.
