Great small town museum with an awesome traveling exhibit! Can't wait to see what they bring in next!
I very much enjoy the various museum displays and the historical walks (graveyard, downtown, etc...). Crystal has excellent communication and is very knowledgeable. She is friendly, professional and shares her knowledge willingly. Check out the museum displays and try going on a walk. You will not be sorry you did.
Great museum, some interactive displays. Staff knowledgeable
Did a Moccasin making course. Enjoyed the staff and the teacher Mitch.

Excellent playable course. Fairways are in terrific condition but if you happen to be in the rough be prepared for a tougher result. Bunkers will test your skills. Not a course for beginners or those who have issues hitting the ball. Clubhouse staff are friendly and drinks are cold! Food is the typical roadhouse variety. Caters to Weddings and other events. Should have a great experience at Caradoc.
I have eaten here many times but this last time it was even better yet. Our meals were delicious and came out very quickly. Our servers were friendly and very informative. Nice atmosphere and the final bill was very reasonable! Great job Caradoc Sands staff! I will definitely be back again!
I cannot say enough how seamless and perfect my wedding day was at Caradoc Sands. From the moment we booked this venue, Sarah outlined all of our planning and details of the day to make it easy and no stress at all. Every moment was planned perfectly and the day ran so smoothly. I had no stress and trust Sarah completely. The food was delicious, the decor was beautiful and the staff were so great and accommodating. Every guest has only had compliments and positive things to say about our day. Thank you Caradoc Sands, Sarah and Sabrina for the most perfect day ever!
The garlic bread was very good. Loved the presentation. Ordered the mac n cheese. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked, the noodles were under cooked, but the cheese sauce was very tasty. Also ordered the fish n chips which was a little bland. Birdie beer was a good value. The service could be better. Once we had our food our server was mia. No follow up for how the food was, or even a second beer. I guess she doesn't like tips.
Pro shop is AI only, no real human. Course was so backed up I was waiting over 20 minutes at each hole. Sprinklers turned on while a lot of golfers were still playing. Pretty disappointing and won’t be coming back.
Course was great. Pro shop was smooth. Cart girl was friendly and came by 4 times. The one girl at the clubhouse was incompetent. Trying to buy food or get drinks felt like pulling teeth, plus they don’t sell food after 5pm and she seemed upset I ordered drinks no clue why. She then came running out the clubhouse saying my card didn’t work…I was in there for two minutes after paying so why did you wait till I left and went over to the 10th hole. Checked my card after the day was done and the first payment was refunded, so obviously she messed up the transaction then proceeded to tell the staff my card declined. Just a strange experience. 3/5 overall. I’ll be back cause the course is kept well, I just refuse to stop by the clubhouse and spend money.
We got married yesterday June 7th and it exceeded all of our expectations. All inclusive, place to get ready the morning of - if you’re looking to do everything at the same place for a great price this is it. To planning, to rehearsal, to the day of & the next day pick up. Everything went so smoothly, a huge thank you to all of the staff especially Sarah for making things perfect. Food was absolutely delicious, venue was gorgeous and everyone had such an amazing time. 10/10 would recommend if anyone is looking for a place to get married.
Visited as group of 8 for dinner. Patio was lovely with a view of the course. Nice setting and weather was perfect. Overall service was pleasant, helpful and efficient but read on... Odd that a table of 8 has one drink menu and that slowed down ordering drinks for everyone. Several beers not available and the server was unable to identify the type of beer from Stonepicker Brewery. Not the fault of the server as more training on menu would be helpful. Several diners started with blooming onion and were well pleased. Stuffed Meatloaf received a great review. Generous portion. Crunchy Garlic Mother Clucker sandwich also great review. Very large sandwich. The Fries, chicken cheese bowl special was generous and received favourable comments. Fish and chips good but portion of fries very meagre. Deluxe Pizza was a good size and very tasty. Now to the major issue. The French Dip. It is described as (Copied text from menu) " Two Slices of Sourdough French Toast Stacked with Shaved House Smoked Beef and Caramelized Onions, Drizzled with Siracha and Maple Syrup, Served with Wedges" Looked great. Large sandwich. Wedges came on the side with some sort of sauce. Tasted wedges and a very hot sauce. Tasted by others at the table and all felt very hot. Server was asked if the wedges could be exchanged for fries. She returned to kitchen with wedges and then returned saying no substitutions and placed wedges back on the table. Told that the kitchen had sent the wedges with Piri Piri sauce as described on menu. After someone found a menu to see what the actual description is, the manager was requested. She suggested a mixup in kitchen and offered some fries to take home. Cold fries to have at home? As noted above, there is no mention of any kind of sauce on wedges and Piri Piri appears as an option for chicken wings. The manager suggested that the order was actually for someone else who had requested the sauce on the wedges. An error in the kitchen and then a "no substitutions" reply really points again to staff training. A simple check of the menu would reveal the wedges were wrong. How much would some fries have cost compared to eight people who watched this play out? Certainly few of this group will return.

I've NEVER had a bad experience at this location however recently, the service has been incredibly fast and even better (Bagel quality, pizza quality, special cookies), Just wanted to recognize all the employees hard work. Thank you for keeping me satisfied and awake. I couldn't add a photo because I had already eaten everything I ordered, it was that good. Eat first, think later.
It's old, dark, and dinghy, and that's just the store. The staff is also on the older side. Don't expect too quick of service if ordering anything over coffee or doughnuts. They are not pleasant either. There were no hellos or conversations with customers; they just complained to each other about how slow they were all working and how busy they were. Yet, there were hardly any customers at the time at cash. Time for a store update and maybe a few more younger staff who can keep up with the flow.
I always go here for my lunch and 9/10 times my order is always messed up. This time (first time ever for this) my drink came not even full 🫤 Yes the straw is in there - I always put it in as soon as I get it, but lemme just say, I wouldn't waste my time trying to lie off a single drink 🤷 js
I’m not one to write a review, however, this experience was beyond fathomable. I am not sure of the circumstances, but please read this if you are considering this location. I typically go to the other location, but after running errands, this was closer. 1st red flag: it was 4pm, all I wanted was a plain bagel toasted with butter, unfortunately only cinnamon raisin bagels left. Sad, but I’m not one to make a fuss, it will do. 2nd red flag: 10 minutes go by, the 2 cars in front of me do not move. People begin backing out of the drive thru, but I am committed to this bagel. It had been a long day. 3rd red flag: After 15 minutes, I’m at the window. I try my best to be kind to food industry workers as I know the job is probably not that enjoyable. Regardless, after waiting for what seemed like an eternity at the window. I finally paid. 4th red flag: After paying, I waited ANOTHER 5 minutes. Only for the girl to hand me an abomination, I wouldn’t even say this is a bagel, with the wrapping SOAKED in greasy butter. Not a word, or a smile. Finally: I take a deep breath, smile and let it go. Only to open up the soaked paper, revealing this bad boy. Or should I say, BURNT BOY. What on earth is that? I took one bite and spat it out, absolutely disgusting waste of my time, disgusting service, and I will never get that silly $2 back. Pretty unfortunate to be honest. If you are understaffed, hire. If you are blatantly disregarding customers, close. I assure you, driving 5 minutes down the road to the other location in Strathroy will be worth it. - Sincerely, a sad bagel lover.
There's a reason nobody wants to work here amd are understaffed.. Same owners and management at all 3 locations. They all need to be replaced. Worth the drive out of town to other locations or just go to McDonald's.
Unfortunately I routinely go to this Tim Hortons because it's the only one on my way to work. They consistently have no breakfast items during breakfast hours and today was the last straw in me writing this review when they messed up my order simply giving me the wrong bagels - no big deal! I don't work far so I drove back and let them know what happened because my daughter came to work with me today and wouldn't have eaten the one they gave us - so I just needed the correct order for her sake. I was met with the rudest manager who was just so short with us (unnecessarily so) and even when a different employee brought us the correct food he also seemed very upset about it? THEN the egg on my bagel belt was green inside like when you let a hardboiled egg sit hot for way too long. Yum. 🤢
I was walking with my kids and my husband @8pm when they've decided to have some Tims. Upon entering and lining up to wait for the staff at the counter a man shouted inside the counter i believe that was the staff. He was an old guy and he is very grumpy. We patiently waited as we are deciding on what to order. When he finally came down to grab our orders he was really rude since the minute he assisted us on our orders up until we head out. He was with a young gentlemen who is apologizing for the delay on our food, and the old guy is murmuring and cursing even kick some stuff inside the counter. I felt sorry for his colleague to deal with that rudeness. I myself is a customer service agent a little kindness is absolutely free. This incident happened 20th Aug, @ around 8:30ish didn't get to know their names.
Tonight I had a great experience, amazing young gentleman that served us his name was Aaron!! This boy knows what good customer service is! Need more people like this:)

We were in this amazing place on September 12. And I will be objective in my review. You should not expect this course to be like an elite private golf course, licked to the last blade of grass. This course is a hidden gem. It is really challenging, almost all holes are par 5 or 4. Many natural obstacles, bridges, trees, etc. Very beautiful nature and a special vibe. Yes, this course does not have ideal fairways everywhere, but there are very good greens, and you can feel the care of the staff and owners. There is also an excellent restaurant on the balcony, delicious food and good service. This place really knows what hospitality is. And, by the way, about the price. This place has many special promotions and offers, do not hesitate to ask and look on their website. We paid $ 100 for two with a cart for 18 holes and spent almost 6 hours there😁 Thank you very much for a wonderful day! We will definitely come back here.
I golfed this course two years ago, and I promised to never go again. Now that it changed ownership, I figured I'd give it another shot. All I can say is wow... what a difference. Staff were incredible, and amazingly patient with my chatty little boys! The course was great shape especially considering it hasn't rained in AGES! It's a tough course, but everything was very very playable. I honestly can't believe they have made this much improvement in only 1-2 years. It's night and day compared to what it was with previous ownership. Is there room for for improvement still? Sure! But what a great start. Strathroy has two courses again! I look forward to watching this course come back to its former glory. We will be back!
We called week before and were assured all holes were open, a few were shortened Received email day before reminding us of tee time. No mention of course conditions When we arrived we were informed back nine closed, most holes on front nine shortened This should have been included in our reminder email We were charged full rate and because of our long drive we decided to play. We have never played a course in worse condition. We realize all the rain has damaged the course but we should have been notified in reminder email. This used to be our home course years ago and were looking forward to playing it again Never been so disappointed
Great course. Management are nice and did an amazing to the restaurant and hall. The course is nice but the cart trails are garbage. It needs to be all replaced so it’s not so bumping and terrible. The signs for each hole are nice, but you can’t read what’s on them unless you’re up close.
Course is in great shape. The new ownership are friendly and obviously spending the time and money to keep.getting better
My wife Meghan and I played Willow Tree last August and this was my approach on 16 with an 8 iron. I made my birdie! It was a pleasant surprise to see the course transformation pretty well back to the Bear Creek days when I was a member. We hope to get back out to your course in the near future 😉 😉 All the best! Nicholas Howe
The course is in great shape for early in the season. Year over year plays great and the pro shop staff are courteous and friendly. It will only get better with the season. So glad to be back.
Course was good but they need to fix their booking website.
