A quick escape from the hassle of urban life, all quiet and beautiful with beautiful nature, hiking trails and picnic area. This conservation area also has Ska-Nah-Doht Museum featuring a reproduction of an Indigenous Village with long houses. Great for an educational family picnic and hiking trip.
This trail is absolutely beautiful! You do have to pay $5 for a parking pass tho. I have a parks pass for the year, so it allows me to enter for free!
We visited Longwoods Road Conservation Area and Ska-Nah-Doht Village during Christmas for the light shows. It was peaceful and well organized. The lights were beautiful—spread out along the trails, with lots of spots to stop and enjoy. The village setup adds a unique touch, and it’s nice to see some history mixed into the experience. A great place to take kids or just enjoy a quiet walk in nature during the holidays. Definitely worth a visit in December.
Great place for an outing even in the winter! Journeyed into the Resource Centre and spoke to a few very educated employees. Was great to pick their brains about things we saw and they educated us on some of the things they had displayed in show cases. Large glass windows peer into the woods while you can watch the birds feast on the feeders. Helpful signs helped us identify some of our feathered friends 🐦 Labelled trails and trees along with boardwalks that cross over lazy river like streams bellow So peaceful They also have the long houses to explore Pretty cool to see the history preserved in this village 🌽
great place for a walk. in spring there are many different flowers. Indian village is an unusual place. There are several trails for walking. lots of picnic area. bring mosquito spray with you.
So beautiful. It's not overly manicured, peaceful and absolutely gorgeous.
Went with kids gr3 class trip They enjoyed the learning aspect. The second half of the day we kind of free play with the person “ tug of war”. Could have been a bit more structured. Some kids fell and got dragged around. Also stick tug of war, and lacrosse. Was fun, overall.
A lovely place to visit, learn, and get some exercise! We enjoyed snowshoeing and looking for animal tracks. It was inexpensive ($8+Hst/each for snowshoes and $5 for parking). Will definitely go again.

Great selection of antiques and collectables at good prices. There is also a 50's style restaurant attached. I like browsing and shopping their .
An odd place, but interesting. It is away from freeway so it seems as for locals only. We get there by accident, but we enjoyed. Not many places like this left. Also there is an antique shop (I am not sure if you can call antique, probably just a second hand) with al out of old stuff. For treasure hunters may be a treasure.
Getting a bit bored because the stock rarely gets new and some stuff sits and sits at posh prices. C'mon people, give us a bit of a deal or we will look elsewhere. What I mean is - DRP the PRICES
Good place to visit. Some interesting stuff. But did have a lot of the same stuff
Great food fast and friendly and you can look at all the stuff while you wait for your food
Pleasant surprise, lots to see, diner with good prices and variety
Alot of small stuff and interesting 50s style dinner
cool place.hours on web site would be nice

Stopped by Sunday April 2nd. Had a look around and talked with the owners who are great people. My wife fell in love with a piece that was there but we didn't purchase it. All the way home the wife talked and talked about that one piece. After getting home we decided to make a call. The owner was great over the phone, she set it aside for us without a deposit of any kind. We returned this morning Wed April 5th to pick it up. The owner helped load it in our truck and we were off. Highly recommend for people to stop by and check out this hidden gem. They have a great selection of furniture and also paint. Update. We decided to have our piece painted by Brenda at Antique Allie. Here we are now as of Jan 26 2024. My wife and I returned back to Antique Allie to pick up our piece. The wife was very pleased with the finished piece. I added a before and after pictures.
Allie has several lines of chalk and mineral paint. Best of all, she has refurbished multiple pieces of furniture and gives her opinions and expertise freely. She's a wonderful resource for those looking to restore something. Love this store.
Best little shop in town !! Live small town shops
Brenda creates beautiful pieces whether she's painting or using transfers. You should come and check out all the great stuff she has. Brenda is super friendly and she always makes me laugh. I really like visiting Antique Allie.
Very friendly proprietor. One section is mostly larger furniture she restores/refinishes, the other is gift items and home decor. We enjoyed shopping there.
An antique and eclectric furniture store where you can find a piece to add to your home beautifully refinished/ refurbished or one you can do yourself with products available there too. Antique Allies can also provide you with expert advise for the do-it-yourselfer. You will also find the perfect accessories to accent your home as well. A great place to add to your list of places to stop at for your next remodelling project.
A little gem for sure. Brenda is very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed a paint class recently. Something for everyone.
Small, pretty boutique! Very clean and sweet. A bit pricey and was expecting more antiques but there were more refurbished furniture.

Please do not make a mistake - this is not a public area. You may only come by if you are the type of person that can see the forest through the trees. Do not cross the bridge, there’s only danger on the other side. Lovely spot for a picnic, it will change your life 👁
Small conservation area tucked away near a stream. There is a gravel parking lot across the road and the main sign is above the field that constitutes the entire usable area. The field is open, of a decent size (maybe a small soccer field) and next to private property. An old structure serves as a picnic shelter. Everything overlooks the stream though it is inaccessible. There are no hiking paths or other features; this area is simply for the field and picnic structure. Nice area, good to see conservation, but was expecting some hiking paths.
This is essentially just a small field with a half open barn in it. There used to be a trail it seems - the main entrance to the trail is over by the house at the right side of the field (if you have your back to the road) and leads down to a bridge over the stream. As at March 2022 that bridge is closed and even if you get across the stream the trail is unmaintained / barely visible after a few hundred yards. You can follow the stream for a bit but it’s walking in the ravine and there are spots where people have been dumping garbage so not very nice.
Such a pretty area for fall colors , not very big , just a quick stop , but nice hidden little gem
This is a small open area of grass with a pavillion...NO TRAILS. Also right next to someone's house.
Gorgeous, quiet spot for a picnic lunch and some pictures. Trails are overgrown and not maintained.
Perfect little spot for a picnic. It has an old barn and a picnic table. There are no trails here, just nature.
Not much here. Wonder if what remains should just go wild.
