I always enjoy my stay when I am here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I dined at the Waters Edge restaurant and enjoyed a delicious steak supper as well as a strawberry daiquiri. The food was served quickly and cooked wonderfully! My server was very sweet and attentive!!
Staying here for 4 days for two separate dates. I am definitely not impressed with the quality of the entire hotel. The second round of my stay the room we checked into was poorly cleaned. I was unaware that we were booked into a room with a pull out couch. When we pulled the bed out it would not come out. Husband had to put some elbow grease into it so it would open properly, then soon met a dirty unmade bed with frumpled sheets and crumbs. The only reply I got was "the guy who cleaned it couldn't get the bed out" we were giving two sad brown blankets and had to ask multiple times for pillows. The mattress is a 4 inch spring mattress that was probably here since the 90s. Seeing how expensive these rooms are you'd think they would put a better quality mattress in. So if you are planning to have 4 people in your room. Don't, you will not be comfortable. The second night on the first set of nights we decided to eat in the dining room. We were sat and were brought water Waiter did not take a drink order and took it when we were ordering food. Didn't even bring out the drinks that were ordered. We had to ask for them after our meals came He did not ask how the food was or asked if we needed anything. Terrible service, this also goes for the cafe. I do admit that the food was decent in the restaurant. It was warm and flavorful cannot say the quality in the cafe is the same. The pool atmosphere is horrendous, the cleanliness has gone way downhill, the "cool" pool is not cool at all. There is some serious maintenance issues there and it just looks dirty. They also got rid of the stay two nights and receive 20% off, and the 10% coupon in the gift shop. Everything is overcharged for the quality and state of this hotel. Definitely not worth the money coming here anymore. So needless to say this hotel is being run into the ground by the new owners and from the reviews I've read, many others feel the same.
We stayed here and the rooms were clean however they said it was two queens and they were double beds. The pool really does need updating - as a former a lifeguard of 15+ years there is a lot of safety concerns although I understand that people go for the benefits of the water and not so much the experience itself. I called prior and was assured there is a cold , warm and hot pool. The cold pool is 93 F, warm is 100 F and hot is 103 F. This should be posted on their website as I am pregnant and was really hoping to spend more time in the pool than I could due to the very warm temperatures in the “cold pool”. I’m not sure the price of a room reflects the quality of the stay of the hotel and pool as it does need updating!
The location is very quaint! Loved the little restaurants and shops across the way. Also nice gift shop in the resort. The salt pools were great to float in but they definitely need some repairs and cleaning. The ceiling near our room looked like it was about to come down. However looks like they are working on some sections of the hotel to fix it. All that said...we enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend coming out to this location. We also took in seeing the woodcarving contest and the farmers market near by. This resort is good it just needs a wee bit of TLC.
*REVIEW FOR POOL ONLY* The lake was too chilly for me but I was happy to float in the heated pool at Manitou Springs Resort. I wanted to try a spa treatment but I didn’t book in advance and there were no spots available. Showed up at the pool at about 7:40pm and the lady working suggested waiting until 8pm so we could get $5 off entry - I thought that was nice. The deep end is 9 feet deep, and I thought it was incredible to be able to “stand” vertically in the water and float. I’ve never experienced a salt water pool like this before and I had so much fun just floating about and relaxing. Yes, the pool deck isn’t in great shape. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of lighting in the women’s change room. There are literally no lights overhead in the changing stalls, which made it awkward. There are lots of cosmetic things that could really elevate the experience here. But I still had a wonderful time floating and am excited to return in the future. Great gift shop, lots of Manitou souvenirs like epsom salts, Manitou mud, face scrub, and more holistic items, alongside the standard souvenirs. Nice lady working there!
Well we emailed about our last trip with no response so posting my review. I LOVE this place...usually go stay twice a month in winter...last week we went and the pool is crumbling so bad with zero maintenance done, the plastic drain vents on the floors around the pool are cracked and someone in our group cut their foot open on it. Chunks of the floor are floating in the pool...its gone down hill soooo much that if it isn't fixed, there will be no pool left and the hotel itself is not worth staying without the pool.
A good vacation spot for families and friends. The salt pool was really relaxing, we enjoyed the fun. We spent a night so we couldn't access other fun activities in and around the resort (kayaki, dancing, swimming in the river, dinning etc) I'll go back some other time, hopefully I'll meet a better service. In summary it was worth the stay
Did not visit rooms. Waters Edge restaurant was very pleasant and sweet potatoe fries were very good as well. Location is a fairly long way from Regina but doable for a day trip. Wish it were closer. My onlh complaint is the increase in fee to access pool - if you come & go from the pool. It ought not be increased if one leaves and comes back on the same day.

This place will hold special memories of a night of Salsa dancing with beautiful people, sensational music and good vibes.
Finally got to visit Danceland and it lived up to all of my expectations. So much history packed into this exquisite lake side gem of a place. Also had the good fortune of getting a tour and learned so much more about its history. Thank you for sharing so much of your time Millie! Acoustics are fantastic and the horse hair dance floor would be a dream to dance on. Hope you didn’t mind me moon walking across the boards. Highly recommended for concerts, dancing and touring!
Great place for dancing and Tuesday entertainment for the kids. Decent priced foods @Marina Cafe inside 😋 then Get ready to dance them calories off in this historic venue
Walking in to the place one could imagine the people coming from all over to spend the evening dancing and having a good time with friends and family. I would love to go when they have a band on the weekends.
Beautiful dance hall! Huge floating wood floor that is kept in wonderful condition. Not good for ballroom dancing because of the excessive amount of wax they put on it for the country couples dancing, but a joy to experience!
Largest hall I have ever seen. Unique horsehair under the hardwood floor which softens the dancing so that you can 'dance all night long'. The owner hosts weddings and dances at this venue. She was getting ready for a Valentines dance this past weekend. Buffet included. The hall been there for 86 years.
Disappointed that the don't have roller disco. Would be a great use of that floor on a hot summer's day. Is it air conditioned?
This place has an amazing atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday night and it was packed with people of ALL ages. My kids had a blast and there was some local musicians playing. Great community vibe.

Nothing less than a hidden gem. Spectacular collection of hand crafted jewellery and artefacts. All at a very reasonable price. The lady managing the place, probably also the owner, was extremely courteous and helpful. She also gave helpful advice about the beach, surrounding restaurants and things to do. A must place to visit.
A must stop location if you are in the area! Absolutely beautiful little art gallery! Make sure you grab a bite to eat while your hear and enjoy the stunning outdoor space surrounded by art. Menu is simple and not overwhelming, and the taste is great!
We stumbled across this place while taking a walk during our stay at the lake. Amazing. It was a very cute place with so much to offer. We sat in their garden, had tea, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Sarah, the owner was so sweet. Our baby fell asleep in their garden and she put up signs for other guests to please be quiet. Our baby had the most relaxing nap of his life. I would give a 20 star review if I could.
We visited this little gem while at Manitou for a short vacation. It is a great place-lots of artists have their work there-around 400! We looked through all the quaint little buildings and then sat and enjoyed delicious lattes. Be sure to make it a “must to see” if you’re in the area.
Quirky and whimsical gardens, decor, and buildings displaying all manner of (mostly) locally made works of art for sale, from clothing and jewelry, to pottery, wood carvings, and paintings, plus everything in between.
Love Little Manitou Art Gallery!! Went for our first meal at the Splash Cafe Today and it was Fantastic!!! 12/10 meal and 12/10 service.
Amazing space with so much unique work from across Saskatchewan. Ended up coming back at night for some live music and drinks. What a great time!
A truly unique way to spend half an hour or more. Little Manitou Art Gallery is part art exhibit, part shopping mall, part sculpture garden, and part artist showcase. Depending on the time and day, there may be artists working on projects. There are a huge variety of items available for sale. Refreshments are also advertised as available (tip: Manitou Mini-Mart serves great ice cream, and it's just a few steps away!).
