Awesome! Basically set up like an interactive learning museum similar to the approach of a children’s museum.. and best part is that it’s free for everyone! Very informative and interesting for all ages and super creative outreaches. Highly recommend! Good for those rainy lake days or even just to do something different. The staff are friendly and helpful and the kids enjoyed it very much.
Barbara was so wonderful. She was so enthusiastic with my kids. My kids loved checking out the center. Thank you Barbara we will be back once we have our third!
Beautiful trails, fun family activities and lots of entertainment for everyone.
It's a beautiful park with scenic beauty. You can watch lots of deer and sunset is breathtaking! All the seasons have different colors and beauty to enjoy. You Will never disappoint to visit this beautiful place.
We stop in here every year to hand in our Xplorers booklet (ask the staff if you don't know what that is). This place has lots of activities for the kids to play with and learn from. It's a fun place to go, especially on a miserable day. You can also sign out backpacks with activities to do like geocaching and wildlife viewing. I think they were doing some renos in 2016, so I look forward to seeing how they turned out.
Great place to relax; lots of places to sit and picnic with the family; seating also available for lake side view. There is a small town within the complex with shops, restaurants, and motels. Great escape for short and long term visits.
Beautiful park (better than I remember it from when I was a kid!). Dog beach is a little small, but the family enjoyed themselves immensely.
It is a great place to introduce children to animals of the park, through use of animal costume, hands on activities, descriptions and other offerings.

Amazing service and super helpful. The equipment was is great condition with dollys that make hauling canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. That the time of rental starts from when your on the water is amazing. Definitely will rent from here again!
We had a great time at the Grey Owl Center the beach was clean and nice people and business owners where all vary friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the quad bikes
I went there to fill my electric dirtbike tire with air and the staff was super nice little did I know it was past closing so thank you guys so much
Took the kids to Waskesiu for a few days on July 21-24 and had a great time. People were riding the Quadracycles all over the place so the kids wanted to give them a try. We stopped in at Grey Owl and the service was great. We rented a Quadracycle for 1 hour = $30. This was more than enough time as we toured the whole Park, almost went up and down every road we could find. Seats are adjustable for shorter legs and a third person can sit in the middle and doesn't have to pedal. Bikes come with three gears so they are easy to pedal up any hills. Great rental shops in the Park and I will be coming back again.
This one blonde girl worker was really rude for no reason to my friend’s mom when she was confused and asked a simple question? She was a teen or something like that but customer service is okay
This is a great place to rent outdoor adventure equipment at the lake. You can rent off road bikes and even two people passenger pedal bikes to drive around town. Everything you need, including helmets can be found here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Very nice place. We rented a bike from there. A double one. Nice place, and the prices are not hight. If you go to Waskesiu go to Grew Owl to get your bike.
Some of the best bike service I have ever had.
