We made a day of going out to Niverville and someone told us we had to check out Bothwell cheese. We’re glad we stopped as we picked up our favourite shredded cheese for quite a bit less than Winnipeg prices. Pleasant service and nice variety.

I order several of the 2.5kg blocks of extra old cheese at a time to smoke in my cold smoker. I have tried many other brands but the Bothwell is BY FAR the best. They have the recipe spot on. Even brands that cost a lot more don't compare to the Bothwell brand. Treat yourself to this local gem of products.

Disappointing. Must have caught them on a bad day with very little variety. Only two trim types to be found unless you count an oddly shaped pack of mozzarella which was at full price. No samples, but when there's not much product whats the point? This is a shadow of the recently closed St Boniface store and definitely not worth the trip but if you do go don't bother taking your rewards card because they won't honour it. All in all a bit of a wasted morning and sadly not the Bothwell I remember from ten years ago.

Great selection of cheeses. You can buy the trims of many types to try different flavors - at lower prices. If you know what types you like - you can usually find it there. The prices are reasonable. I love the Smoked Gouda - bought a large block of trim today. Bought some Edam and Old Cheddar along with small trims of Muenster, Red Hot Chili Pepper and Black Truffle. Very happy that this store is just a short drive from Winnipeg and is located right at the cheese factory. We will continue to go here for a nice choice of cheeses.
