Wonderful island! We visited the local school and “hospital”, enjoy a lunch in wonderful place with private beach, but mainly: Saw amazing corals and fishes and swim with turtles in the sea :)
Spectacular.. a seaweed farm was set up here years ago and well it didn’t work out , but the seaweed bloomed and then the Turtles 🐢 arrived. Snorkelling with Huge Turtles for 1 hour was amazing. Restaurant’s onshore very good. 5 Star ⭐️
Good place to see turttles
Beautiful island ! You’re probably going there by tout boat, so your captain will bring you to see the turtle eating seaweeds and other sea life (south side, near Ampasimena), then bring you to visit the village of Ampasimena (we got some local snacks but they sell a lot of stuff, it’s not the cheapest though). Finally relaxing on a white sand beach and having a delicious local meal (including fresh fishes fish). If you’ve more time and/or are not in a tour, exploring more sounds awesome 😉
Beautiful beaches and giant turtles. I saw the biggest turtles in my life.
This place is amazing! Beautiful island with beautiful beaches.

We really enjoyed our guide who I think was named Christina. She gave us a tour in English which was helpful and we got to see and interact with about 8 different lemurs. The tortoises are cool and two are over 200 years old! We liked the chameleons as well and the Ylang Ylang factory was unique and special. Loved the old copper distillery. The price was very reasonable and was easy to traverse the stone path
I guess this is by far the best place in world where you can enjoy Lemurs jumping on your shoulder, eating from your hand. No matter what age are you, you will enjoy this Lemur sanctuary. There are other animals like snakes, chameleons, various turtles, 250 years old turtle Napolenon, crocodiles, but of course lemurs are the ones you wanna visit this place. Tour guy was excellent hevreally deserved big tip. At the end of tour you can buy some cold pressed oils which are used for making parfummes by mayor brands like Dior, Lous Vitton etc. In that shop there are also souvenirs. Btw. Bring some bananas for lemurs and try to come in morming hours when tjey are hungry. Tour guy will call them "maki, maki..." and in a sec they will appear on your shoulder. 😍🥰
Fun visit. Zoo-like. Worth the price of admission. Shame the essential oils factory was closed down after the death od the owner a couple of years ago.
Lovely place must see. Lemur are friendly and live to eat bananas from a hand, sit on your shoulder. Besides you will meet giant and smaller turtles, chameleons, geckos, crocodiles. Local guides available for no fixed fee, pay at your discretion. Tips: plan your visit in the morning, when lemurs are eager to eat, later they just sit on trees full and not coming down.
Definitely worth the visit when in Nosy Be! Get up close with lots of native animals - chameleons, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and lemurs.
We took a tuk-tuk from the port to the park. We had a great time, we really liked the park.I really liked the lemurs roaming freely inside the park. You can also see quite a few other animals in the park. I recommend it to everyone. I travel as a hobby, I like new things, My goal is to visit 80 countries, at the moment I have seen 56 countries. Subscribe to my channel if you are interested in my journey. We loved the park. It’s took us an hour and half to do a tour. We saw lemurs which we wanted to see when we came to this park. It’s spacious and green. The animals are friendly and visible if you go on the right time. The guide was okay , we only paid the entrance and you pay for the guide as you wish. Over all it’s a good experience.
Amazing place. you can meet all the andemic life in one place and even touch them

Must see place. Take from anywhere on the island a taxi and go to visit it: Panorama view over almost all the 12 lakes on the island is great on sunset. on the way to there you will enjoy kind of life of locals.
The best place to get a 360 degrees view of the entire island of Nosy Be from the top. I really enjoyed the sunset. A nice romantic place if you come with your loved one.
From this point you can see whole Nosy Be. It has 329 meters above sea level. Great view, 360 degrees platform. Really worth visiting.
It is the 2nd highest point of the island. From the top you can admire whole surroundings. If you get there by car/scooter etc., you'll have to leave it ~15 minutes from the top (path is quite steep). There is an entry fee and at the top, there are shops with souvenirs, water etc. In my opinion - Mont Passot is worth visiting!
Extra view especially sunset :-)
A view over Nosy Be crater lakes and a beautiful sunset over the ocean.
Don't miss this if you are in the area. Best time to visit is sunset.
lovely sunset but lots of tourists in evening

Stunning Underwater World: The island's underwater realm is a sight to behold. The vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life create a breathtaking and immersive experience for snorkeling enthusiasts. The crystal-clear waters reveal a world filled with colorful fish and mesmerizing coral formations. A Call for Conservation: While enjoying the underwater beauty, be reminded of the importance of responsible tourism. We encourage fellow visitors to respect and protect this fragile ecosystem. It's essential that we do our part to ensure we don't inadvertently harm the very environment we admire.
Nice but plastic pollution is not fa away. Hurry up and do something today about it.
(Translated by Google) From the first strokes of the oar, the horizon opens onto water so calm it seems frozen. The boat glides silently, and you immediately understand why so many visitors describe it as a "very relaxing moment" and a "timeless interlude." Once disembarked, the underwater spectacle is unpretentious. I immersed myself in a coral garden teeming with multicolored fish and encountered peaceful sea turtles. The crushed coral fragments beneath my fins sparkled in the light, while a few squid glided by, discreet and intriguing. The island, deserted and protected, invites you to stroll. As I skirted a rocky promontory, I glimpsed the dark entrance to a cave where, it is said, a colony of bats takes refuge. This blend of adventure and tranquility undoubtedly explains why it's often nicknamed "the bat island." The excursion package includes a simple and delicious local lunch, shared with other amazed travelers. No mass tourism, but a friendly and authentic getaway, praised for its value for money and the kindness of the local crews. Nosy Fanihy combines the pleasure of exploration and the sweetness of relaxation in a single experience. A rare place, where time seems to flow with the rhythm of the waves and discoveries, without artifice or fanciful promises.

(Translated by Google) Small island in front of the beach of the Voi Hotel Amarina in Nosy Be. Completely deserted by the white coral beach. The seabed that surrounds it is worth both diving and snorkeling but there are probably more beautiful places in Madagascar. I swam with a nice big green turtle and saw several very beautiful fish. The sore point of the beach is the myriad of birds that live there. The people are dirty, the absolute lack of shade and the tiny sand insects that tore me apart (173 bites in 3 hours). In any case, from a naturalistic point of view the place is certainly worth it but try to go there when it is deserted otherwise you risk finding yourself on a "deserted" island with 100 people...

I had a half day ride, and it was one of the best days of my life. The experience is great, you ride with your horse together with your guide up the hill. You have an amazing view over the lake. Your guide takes great pictures and videos of you, so you will have beautiful photos at the end. The gallop and swim at the beach were absolutely fantastic! The horses are very well trained, you do not have to worry a single second. But keep in mind, you ride in untouched nature, it was scary sometimes and quite high. Thank you so much for the great experience 🩵
Very special experience. An original way to discover the Nosy Be land passing through local villages, holy lake and nature. With horses you can view amazing landscapes in a deep wild environment. Suggested to who want something not common. It’s not necessary to ride professionally. Lollo’s horses are clean, sweet and lovely. Thanks and...see you soon!!!! V
Beginner friendly riding in an amazing landscape.
(Translated by Google) We took a 1 hour ride which was very pleasant with beautiful landscapes, ending with swimming in the ocean with the horses. I was alone with my 2 children and I found it very reassuring because the manager of the ranch suggested that either a guide could be on horseback with us or that each horse be held by a guide. The equipment is top notch, saddle, safety helmet, leg protection and a bottle of water per person. Many thanks for your professionalism and kindness. I really recommend this place!
(Translated by Google) A 3-hour ride to discover the magnificent landscapes of Nosy Be with Manzo from Ambaro Ranch. My guide was excellent, he adapted to my pace and was able to tailor a ride for me, ending with a gallop on the beach at sunset. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
(Translated by Google) Sublime ride in the hills at 3 paces with a break near the lake then long gallops on the small paths, on the beach with an experienced and very kind guide. Horses with sure, kind and lively feet. We finish by swimming in the sea bareback. A dream. I highly recommend and would come back for a second ride.
(Translated by Google) I was marked by this unforgettable experience. The landscapes, especially the first ones, are fabulous. And then the further down we go towards the sea, the more the pollution comes out. I also found the horses rather thin compared to what we are used to seeing in France... And some very nervous. Is there no way to let them pasture more? I rode an Opium who looked tired from doing this ride again and again. Or was it his character? I'm not giving 5 stars because I hope that this will encourage people to take a little more care of the horses. Also, a price is announced for the ride and at the end I am told that I have to pay extra for getting into the water with the horses. It's not so much the extra price that's disturbing, but the fact that it's not clear from the start. But otherwise I was still very happy to discover this activity on the island. It’s a great activity, a good idea, it must continue but please, with respect for the horses 🙏 (Original) J'ai été marquée par cette expérience inoubliable.
