My wife and I took this course at the end of August which is one of the hottest months in Sudan to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Even though we went out of season to get certified, Mustafa was very accommodating to our needs. We paid $600 for the three day course. My wife was in contact with Mustafa from the time she inquired about Red Sea Secrets Diving prices till the day we actually met at the Red Sea Secrets Diving Center in Khartoum to sign paper and waivers, then in Port Sudan. Mustafa was very helpful and informative about everything we needed for the course. Mustafa took care of everything including our stay in Port Sudan which was an added touch of his hospitality. With that being said Mustafa's attitude towards getting us certified was very professional which was very much appreciated, that just meant that he wanted to make sure we succeed in our open water certification. He was very thorough with our practice sessions and made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and all the safety procedures before moving on to the next step. All his hard work and our training paid off when we went for our last dive to the Italian shipwreck roughly an hour or so out of the shore. The scenery was absolutely breath taking. Due to our thorough practice on equalizing and buoyancy we spent more time looking around at the under water natural environment than worrying about how to keep ourself afloat. The moment just cannot be explained in words, definitely I will remember it for the rest of my life and all of this was possible because of Mustafa and the Red Sea Secrets Diving Center. So my sincere thanks to Mustafa. Hopefully you can be my buddy instead of an instructor next time I am in sudan.
Super legit diving center. They do amazing tours of the Red Sea including Sanganeb, Rumi and many others. Really recommend. Mustafa is the man and with Omar they make a great team. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and unforgettable moments!
My wife and I had an unforgettable snorkeling experience. This company is highly professional and a pleasure to work with. We also felt very safe. We highly recommend snorkeling with them!
A diving Center, which makes you feel like you go diving with Friends, at some of the Most spectacular divesites in the world, from an adventourous Port City while still being incredibly professional - what could a divers heart request more!? Despite showing Up Just in the morning and asking for some good dives, owner and dive instructor Mustafa went out of bis way to accomodate my wishes and circumvent all bureaucratic hurdles. He ist excellently connected in the City and can support you with all desires and Open questions. Their equipment is top notch and very well serviced. And he just bought a brand new strong diving boat, which brings you to the divesites in no time. The divesites themselves are more than spectacular - actually im out of words to even describe the seen, with the Umbria being my absolute favourite - and while this dive spot would be certainly overcrowded anywhere else in the world, you share it only with some barracudas and parrotfish - an incredible feeling, while diving among old bombs, bottles and all kinds of other cargo. Mustafa was an excellent and respectful dive guide, who knows the divesites very well and contributes to exciting conversations during the breaks - and in terms of food and drinks you are very well supplied. I certainly havent expected auch a perfect small divimg Operation before i came to Sudan and can strongly recommend to use the opportunity of Port Sudan and the Red Sea Secrets Diving Center as a Base to get the best of both worlds - under and above water - out of your Trip. It certainly has the - justified - potential to be the next top-hyped diving location in the world.
