Beautiful beach well-loved by locals. Off the beaten path, so you'll have fewer people sniffing you out as a tourist and bothering you like you'll find at public beaches in the touristy parts of the island. Inner tubes and more available to rent. Lots of food choices! Definitely recommend.
We went on a Thursday to celebrate an anniversary and it was a pleasant experience, the staff and the welcome was genuine. We were not rushed and was told to make ourselves comfortable which we did before selecting our meal from the menu and choosing which fish crab lobster or whatever you wanted prepared to enjoy and it was well worth the wait.
Took a quick escape to Hellshire Beach, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lively, and the food? Absolutely top-tier! Prendy's crayfish/conch, and fish soups were bursting with flavor 😋 We also grabbed some steamed and fried fish, paired with festivals and plantains—delicious, even if that vendor's name slipped my mind 🙃 Pro tip: Always pick your fish, watch the weighing process, and do your own calculations. Keeps things smooth! 😉
Good food, vibes and beautiful beach. Transportation by bus, taxis, privare car, large undesignated parking areas available. Free entrance and parking. Busier on the weekends and public holidays. Public beach.
Screachue Lynn and Blacka...... Thank you for great mornings.... I have a $tip for Blacka. I will not forget. Morning swims and prayers behind Lynns and Screachies restaurant can not be beat. Nothing charges your batteries to take on the day more than an early morning prayer and swim before the best breakfast we had in Jamaica - twice in 2 days.
Nice chill spot. Went for the food, not really for the beach
Nice atmosphere, chilled vibe. Had a delicious meal at screechies with the family whilst visiting the beach. Would definitely recommend.
It's been quite a few years since my last visit to Hellshire, and I'm happy to see how it's developed over time. It's much cleaner. If you're planning to visit, you'll find plenty of wood lounge chairs near the restaurants in a shaded area. There are tons of options available to purchase fresh seafood. I can't remember the name of the restaurant that I purchased my fish but it was excellent. I'm looking forward to another visit.

I took my kids there to celebrate one of my son’s birthday and we had a great time. Thanks to crystal she is top tier big up you crystal , rite through you deserve employee of the month. My step son is in a wheelchair and they assist us very well they lift him up the stairs and took him back down without complaining. Thanks for the service, great team and excellent customer service. Crystal your the best of the best, we felt so welcome.
New items added to the arcade, friendly staff, great fun.
The staff is very helpful and they wish people with birthdays a happy birthday so that’s great. Now for the downside; Limited amount of games, some still weren’t working. There is an entry fee of $1200 and it doesn’t include any coins to play the games, you have to buy that separately . This is not a good arcade for playing games.
It was good, clean bathrooms and play area. Multiple games to be played a few of the machines were not working though. The customer associate behind the counter was a bit rude could use a bit more training. The entrance and security guard were welcoming and very pleasant. Id recommend buzzers for families, kids and adults can have great bonding time. Check them out.
Attended Buzzers with my little cousins for a birthday game night. You must pay an entry fee to be on the floor + purchase tokens to play. I was quite surprised by this. In my opinion, a $1200 entry fee is just greed. However the kids enjoyed the games.
I was in Awe of how good this place was. There’s not a lot of kids attraction in Jamaica so this was definitely a game changer when I found it. The games were pretty good ⭐️ There’s enough there for kids of all age groups and sizes ⭐️ The design and layout of the arcade is amazing as well ⭐️ The guys who control the bumper cars and playground for the kids are mostly patient and give them enough time to get going ⭐️ The Men’s bathroom needs some work, only one Tap was working ⚠️ The urinal is a no no. Everyone should have their own private space to pee ❌ There’s really no need for loud music in an arcade especially with the games already being so loud. ❌ Either you turn the volume down on the games and play the music or turn off the music, there’s no need to have competing sounds. Especially with babies around, It’s way too loud for them. Overall, the experience was amazing
Great fun with the kids. Waited about 30 minutes for nuggets and fries for my child they seemed to have forgotten my order. They have VR options and a horror room. Was fun. They have games for every age group
Its a great and ideal place to ur bring kids to hang out and have some fun. They will love. But the only thing I dont like is, u have to pay 1200 per person to enter, and then pay more money to buy tokens to play games. Dat really sucks. I really hate dat. I would prefer to go to coral cliff in mobay where we can enter free and only but tokens to play the games. Plus their games are very fun too.

It's a great spot the bartender name kay she fabuluos she knows how to treat customers
Ken's is a really cool chill spot, especially on Sundays
Good place to go and enjoy great music and drinks. I had a phenomenal time here. It was as if I was jamming to my music selection while taking a roadtrip in my car. I was having a blast with a party of one. Yea, all I need is good reggae, r&b., soul and dancehall to have an amazing time even if it's with myself. And Mr. Selector was on point!
This place is pathetic in every way!!!
It's a blast especially on Fridays Saturdays and sundays love d music played bartenders courteous quick n well dressed security up big up all staff at Ken's portmore residence place but all are very much welcome
The customer service was good; however, the DJ music selection was not that good, and there was no running water in the bathrooms when I visited.
Kens is that place that's basically always open Portmore. The bar is nice to just chill and have a beer or drink and at night based on the night you will have a good time with some authentic dancehall or oldies. It's an oldie spot but us youngings visit from time to time.
So every Indepence night in Jamaica it was always the culture for Sound systems to set up in the towns and the people come out to party in the streets. This night was exactly that🎉🎊🎆... The vibe has been low key for the laat few years due to a number of factors but it is what it is...
