Absolutely terrific! It’s a stunning work of architecture and the exhibits were fascinating and beautifully presented. We spent 3 hours wandering and the photos don’t do it justice. It’s in such an unexpected location and absolutely worth the travel time from Oaxaca.
Thanks Ivan (host of Etlan) that took us here and explained the context, I felt deeply inspired by the effort Mr. Francisco Tedelo did to recognize the the history of people, villages and living experiences on individuals. Those views are not rooted for only Oaxaca or Zapotec people but also cross culturally inspiring.
Beautiful building with gorgeous courtyard and a nice mask exhibition with Spanish/English descriptions. This place is huge, and it's worth the visit if passing by. Also, it's free, so please donate at the entrance. There's a small building beside the Centro de Artes and has some rotating exhibitions. Worth it!
Fantastic rooms. Great mask exhibit. The view from the terrace reminds me of Southern France. It’s just beautiful. I particularly loved the Papel picados covering the windows on the upper floor.
Awesome place, building and museum. Loads of history in the old paper and textile museum, saved by Francisco Toledo and made into a public museum. Great art, photography and historical expositions. Just a great place for a day out!
Really loved this relaxed day trip from Oaxaca. If you have time to spare or are gallery/museum -obsessed like myself I would definitely recommend. There was a small and well-thought photo exhibit on Graciela Iturbide but the real draw is the building itself and the views.
An interesting, and beautiful, multimedia arts center. The building and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Word to the wise: There is not a lot of art on display (make sure you check the website before you go) so you'll be spending most of your time wandering the grounds. Worth the +/- hour trip out of town if you have the time to spare (and reliable transportation) though given all the cultural attractions in Oaxaca I wouldn't rank it as a must see.
Definitely a place to go on the Oaxaca circuit. Incredibly beautiful Italian Renaissance bldg restored to become a spacious gallery, with wonderful grounds. While St Augustine has little else for tourists to visit just a half day trip there from Oaxaca is very worthwhile. The village is set in the foothills of the mountains with lots of water around. The caller exhibited a mind-blowing South African artist installation which is was mind altering. Go for the surprise.

Great time, good price. They only sell Dos Equis and snacks. Sneak in liquor or beer. Absolutely do not go full pencil on the slide. Also the Pepsi in the plastic chairs transfer to your skin. Good marketing. Music was bangin' like Beyonce.
(Translated by Google) The price is, in my opinion ($110 per adult) high for what it offers and the size of its facilities. It is a nice place, with a single pool, 2 wading pools and a small-sized water slide. They do not allow the entry of drinks, so you can only consume what they have in stock in their store.
(Translated by Google) My family and I loved this place, we will definitely return, the price at this time is $110 per person, they have a 1.20m deep pool, a slide into their own pool, a wading pool, and a 3m deep pool with a jumping platform, of course only if you know how to swim well, bathroom and shower areas are common, for me it is an incredible place to enjoy with the whole family, if you can bring food, they told me that they lend you the grill if you want to have some grilled carnitas.
(Translated by Google) 100% recommended, good family place, you can bring food, it has. Tables chairs (Original) 100 % recomendable buen lugar familiar puedes llevar alimentos ,tiene. Mesas sillas
(Translated by Google) It is a good place, the cost in February 2019 is 90 pesos for children 3 years old. It has a slide, wading pool, children's pool and a 120 CM pool for adults. It is located in San Agustín Etla, there are buses that leave from the central station that approaches the site, it has musicians in action all day from 10 to six in the afternoon. (Translated by Google) It is a good option if you want to get out of the routine and relax without going too far from the city of Oaxaca. The place is nice and spacious, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, but the water in all the pools and wading pools is cold so which you should avoid going with small children and there are many mosquitoes, nothing that a good repellent won't solve. They let you in with food and drinks. NOTE: as long as they are not alcoholic beverages.
