Thank you for another great selection of season beer enjoyed in your beer garden, I am still a big fan Dainton Brewery of your dark beers! Great stopover a little in land, with a spot for 2-4 year olds to keep busy while enjoying some tunes, beer, and tucker in the beer garden.
Had an awesome night at Dainton Brewery! The service was 5/5, and the popcorn chicken was a definite highlight with a great crisp and delicious sauce. The burger was good but reminded me of a classic BBQ burger, so I’d give the overall experience a 4/5. Big shout out to Jessi and the Jetts for the fantastic entertainment!
Similar to other recent reviews. We previously came in every Wednesday for Trivia, but the food isn't what it once was. Pretty small and simple burgers and pizzas for the price. (Pics from a couple months ago)
It was truly an amazing experience! Being our first time, we felt so warmly welcomed by Ellen from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was wonderful, and every staff member we met was so helpful and genuinely friendly. A special thank you to Ellen for taking such great care of us. While we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special too. We left with our hearts full of gratitude and our bellies happily full as well. Great food. The pepper mayo is Devine. We are coming back 😇
Disappointed! Came here expecting the delicious bbq we had last time. This time we were met with frozen food, and $4 for less than 12 pieces of pepperoni on our frozen pizza. Don’t get me wrong the beers are still good. But the foods definitely gone down hill.
Booked a group of 9 on a Saturday for dinner for a special occasion. When we arrived all you could smell was the dumpster. Once inside the brewery some of our guests could still smell the dumpster and it was very off-putting. We started ordering at the bar. 1/3 of the way into our table ordering we were informed that the kitchen’s out of pizza bases. Apparently they had a large group come through for lunch and they had run out. That’s about half of their current/new menu gone. Those who ordered pizza in our group had their order messed up. The pizza was ordered without olives and with vegan cheese. The pizza came out with olives and what was certainly NOT vegan cheese. It was the first thing ordered by our group and the LAST thing to arrive ages later once everyone else had finished their meals. We opted for burgers instead of pizza and the burgers were woeful. Greasy, flavourless, low quality beef burgers that came with bland soggy chips for $18. A band was playing live that night and were ridiculously loud. Could not hear the person next to you. Just added to a pretty miserable experience overall. Really disappointed that the food and the atmosphere were not as good as the drinks.
First time at the venue. We attending on a spooky Sunday Halloween event. Place is great! Pizzas were tasty & little people meals good sized servings. Huge range of drinks & tap beers. Really relaxed vibe, would recommend to give it a try. Shout out to Maryanne & the staff who are helpful & lots of fun.
We came here again recently and were so pleasantly surprised by how much better the pizza was this time! The pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious — crispy crust, loads of flavour, and perfectly balanced with the cheese and spice. You can really tell the quality has stepped up. Cannot wait for our next date night!

Beautiful place to sit and ponder on a mild sunny day. Bbq facilities and picnic tables but no shade, so you will bake on a hot day.
Beautiful location. Also accessible by bike trails
Amazing place. The Memorial stands tall, reminding us of Those who sacrificed for us.
Nice area and significant but let down by lack of shade and poor council foresight, concrete seating on the edge of river bank is prodominately used by fishers to cut squid and fish baits, who wants to sit on hot concrete during summer months
A small quiet park near the mouth of the Patterson River and clpse to carrum beach. The best time is sunset. Paid parking for non kingston residence but a small amount of free on street and station parking nearby
I really like this place, when I saw it I am relaxing ans inspiring =)
Pleasant green open space with gardens, picnic area, war memorial and BBQ. Great ocean views. Good for watching the boats go to / from river to ocean.
Ex Servicemen Gathering Place's R something that we as Australian's Value and respect I always say gidday to my Fallen Brother's in arm's . Two to be exact gave their own love's for the better of the group Thankyou Blue and Stretch, I'm fairly sure that they didn't suffer long.

Nice BBQ and playground. Swing Slide etc. Playground has now been fitted with shade cloth. Great for the kids in summer.
Smaller to slightly medium sized park that has a walking path thru the middle. Has a playground setup on one side and the gas bbq sheltered area. Only one set of two gas burners I’m pretty sure, was very quiet when mum and myself walked her dog on lead through there for 10 mins and there was a couple at the playground with kids and people just starting to cook up. Nice place for a quiet walk in a quiet part and area.
👍. It would be good if it had a basketball court plzzzzz build 1
I really like this playground and its setting amongst the grassy areas, the trees that offer shade and the birdlife. Beware that the magpies can be a little enthusiastic and may swoop. The playground is excellent for the kids and they will all have something they'll enjoy. I'd recommend parking on Greenwood drive as the other road (Lyrebird Drive) can get very busy. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking. Bring your own food and refreshments.
Park well-kept, 1 shelter with BBQ, lots of shade. A little soggy underfoot off the pathways after rain in winter!
Large park, tables and BBQ nice enough. Playground is very old though and not much to it
Delicious doughnut van was there on Saturday,,,great for on and off dog leach area,,,,friendly local people to chat too...
Not great, not terrible, it had play equipment, could probably do with some maintenance and better drainage

Great space for kids to place. Near to scenic golf course as well as the river. The playground is also gated as well for extra safety
Little park. Great for small kids as it's fenced. 3 swings, rocker thing, spinny thing and a climbing web.
Great to have playgrounds open again. Adults are spacing themselves well, and the kids just love the equipment and open areas
Great, Clean play ground. lots for the kids to do and plenty of places to sit 😊
An excellent space for the kids to run around and have a climb or a swing.
Sandhurst has lots of playgrounds that are well maintained and some have BBQ facilities
Lots to do for the kids! Digger truck, flying fox, good playground all round

A suitable location for a period of relaxation and recuperation.
Yesterday, on 11/11/2024, I was sitting in the shade near a table and some seats by the barbecue. Three teenagers with black shirts one wearing a blue and white I believe t-shirt on his head like a balaclava walked right past me and went to the back of my chair. I paid them no mind. Today, I found out that they stole a small tan bag I had on the back of my wheelchair. Yesterday, they were seen roaming around Carrum Bella Drive, where they stole some fire hydrants after trespassing onto a gentleman's property. They also stole a pair of shoes from a nearby house. The gentleman told me he followed them in his car, but they ran away from him. Please be aware that this park is not always as peaceful and safe as it should be. Beware
Great playground for pre school aged kids. It needs sun shade though and no toilets. It has a BBQ area and a bin.
BBQ on sites and a drinking tap. Great for young children under 5 due to the limited playground activities. Grass area big enough to kick the footy.
Pretty good park with hardly any graffiti and very "child friendly" equipment to play on.
The playground is getting a bit old but still fun.
Good playground for young children
Good place , especially with kids

John Monash Reserve is a beautiful & tidy park -- BBQ area , sitting benches ,a lot of recreational equipments & swings // people -Children always go there for walks & picnics & of course the happiness of Children playing & enjoying the outing to the Park 😊🥀
The playground is so much better since it was upgraded. Drinking fountain is great as are the BBQ's and shade sails. Just a pity there are no toilets.
Nice little park, could do with an update. not much for children under 3 to do. no shade and not many places to sit. edit: super excited for the update! construction is currently underway!
Typically very clean and well maintained. Saturday and Sunday morning sees a few beer bottles etc., but the council generally clean it up very quickly.
Another great green space for the kids to play in. Great equipment, swings, slides and a see-saw. Undercover picnic table.
Good little playground and open space to play
Good little playground. Granddaughter had a ball playing there
Looks incredable

Nice new park! Quite large but easy to spot the kids. Trampolines, big swing, good slides, flying fox, shelter and BBQs, huge sand and water play area right next to the oval for a good dog walk.
Great park, toilets, seating cover area, lots of areas for the kids.
New playground is fantastic with sand, waterplay, flying fox's, barbeques and toilets! there is something for everyone. but be careful the metal slide is very fast :'D
Great park, equipment for different ages. Toilets available. On-site parking. Shade and tables.
wonderfully manicured grass for cricket season and plenty of space for recreational use. Bit of a dodgy toilet block and important to look out for kids running about in the carpark. Closed gates if you want to let your dog stretch its legs.
We sat down to eat our lunch at the footy oval a lot of dogs but I love pups so very good
Went to watch my grandsons football match and there was an old fashioned scoreboard leaning against the fence on the opposite side of the field which was hard to see. The club have bought an electronic scoreboard which is in storage; the issue is providing electricity to the board which cannot happen as the council owns the change-rooms/building where the power would be accessed. It is also sad that the junior club do not have their own club rooms to display trophies and team photos, very sad for the players.
Pretty good place for everyone here. A big oval, playground for the little ones, cricket nets for a social hit or a practice session for those who take it a bit more seriously & plenty of car parking. There are also toilet facilities here if needed but be warned, I think they were built when the area was first settled.

This is a great off the leash park!! A large pond with alot of beautiful wildlife. A water station for dogs & humans. A children’s playground too. Banyan Fields reserve is a great place!!
Large off lead area with heaps of grass surrounding the lake which dogs can also swim in with the ducks, Parking space which is next to a drinking fountain and rubbish bin, Great place to take your dog/s
Absolutely love this place!! I drive 20 mins. to walk my dogs there. With a clean water centre & poop bins & an enclosed oval, it's extremely dog friendly. Whether you are walking a dog or just walking yourself, wandering under the native trees watching the grass parrots, cockatoos & the ducks on the lake is a very pleasant experience. The people you'll meet always seem good for a chat & and it's easy to park the car with toilet facilities available near the car park. There is a nice playground for the children with shady areas to sit for lunch.
Excellent area to walk your dog off leash. Changes of landscape give excellent workout for both puppy and owner, lake and ducks are also perfect entertainment for puppies.
Park is fine But the Google directions were terrible. I tried to make me go into an old people‘s home.
Great location for a family outdoor cinema event complete with food trucks and music. Heaps of parking, good toilets facilities and play area for kids
Great for the pups in dry weather but the ground gets very muddy in Winter. Walking here on leash is fantastic with a nice wetland for scenery. Never had an issue with parking here.
It would be great if we could keep the fencing around the oval for safe off lead dog space, complete a full circuit of gravel walking track and then have the whole area planted and allowed to return to a wetlands. It's impossible to play sport for a lot of the year because of waterlogging. The birds and the eels and the frogs would thrive and residents would benefit too.

Recently upgraded in August 2022, well worth a visit. Has Ewok style playground forts with slides, various swings, pommels, shelter for picnics, basketball key, pathways for scooters, chicken sculptures, nature play elements, drinking fountain, shade sails, bin etc.
Very neat and tidy park. Plenty of parking available. Great for toddlers and junior kids
Yeah good playground but the basketball court is angled towards the sun in the afternoon, so if you want to shoot some hoops after school its horrible on a sunny day, and the court it also really small and has no 3 point line
Really good playground for the kids, heaps of things for them to do. Best one in the local area by far.
Nice little local park with a better than basic playground for the littles 😁. Parking not great, but mostly locals would use it, so probably walk there.
Lovely at night, me and my partner had a cute little date.
Great playground for the kids
