Legendary Lee Dawes is an incredible pro. Sorted my swing, improved my putting and bunker play all in one 90 minute on course lesson. Thank you :)
The meals are very nice and the service is good. A nice selection of meals for seniors and inexpensive. A few more choices of dessert for seniors would be nice. The staff are helpful and friendly despite being busy. The Cafe is also nice with comfortable seats and a good selection of food.
Crazy busy on a Thursday however you could not tell due to excellent table service and meals coming out with appropriate wait times. I had a chorizo and prawn risotto 10/10!! My mate had a steak and it too was cooked exactly how ordered. Overall- incredibly impressed
It’s always a pleasure visiting the Warragul Country Club, whether it be for a Sunday afternoon meal or a Friday night drinks and catch up with friends. The staff are polite and courteous and very friendly. There’s plenty of parking options on premises too. Plus, if golf is your thing then please do not miss visiting the Warragul Country Club. Best to book ahead, esp. for the Sunday lunch service as they do tend to get very busy.
This is a very spacious and modern facility that has an extensive, yet not expensive, dining menu. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
No tables were free when the 3 of us arrived on a Sunday, but the hostess quickly arranged one for us. The food was delicious and staff friendly and efficient. We'll go back.
Had dinner last night at the country club and it was really good,3 adults and 2 children every meal was delicious and the service was fantastic, the staff are really amazing and make you feel so comfortable 10/10 we will definitely be back
First went there 2 years ago could not fault the place. Went there about 1 weeks ago I asked for chicken schnitzel with vegetables my wife asked for no batter on the fish and vegetables after 15 minutes meals came out she had better on the fish we sent it back as thay made a mistake it came back 15 minutes later with no batter and with salad but the time I got to eat my meal it was cold would not go back here again it's better value at the pub meals were very small and for $27 for the fish and $24 for the schnitzel but the garlic bread was and cheese was good and it would have been nice to have more chips except for one little Cup. To their credit they gave a $20 credit for next time sad thing is I don't think there will be a next time.

It was such a beautiful park! We stopped here during our road trip, I was amazed by the amazing nature of the park. There were a lot of wildlife walking on the grass, a nice fountain in the pond, and a nice water lily garden. My friends and I spent more than 40 minutes in the park to enjoy the sunshine. I also noticed that many families came here to socialise and have BBQ. It seemed to be a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone!
Nice surrounds and a pretty good park for the kids. Also has a nice coffee shop in the arts centre. Great place for a picnic
A nice park tucked away in a quieter area, near Warragul city centre. There are BBQ facilities, benches and seats, a playground, a gazebo, and clean-cut grass areas for a picnic near the two ponds. One has a water fountain that occassionally springs up.
Very well maintained park which has a fountain area, lotus pond, and a play area.
Warragul is always beautiful and calm and this park adds more colors to it. Plenty of room for a picnic and play along with a few BBQ huts.
Amazing park nice green area and playground caters to kids and teens alike. love the waterfall and the surrounding plants are so fun for kids to play in! good facilities such as bathrooms (at the arts centre technically but easy enough to access), a barbecue, and picnic area.
Terrific place to sit down in the shade Lots of bird life, small pond , bbq area
Great park, kids love it, as do the adults

Excellent park. Little challenging for the kids. Recommend
Very busy with kids and families when we visited. It's not a bad layout, though.
Lovely area! Large open spaces with big shady trees! The seating options were great with big long tables! The kids enjoyed the playground and had a ball on the swing. No flys or mozzies, which was a massive bonus considering we are some food.

A great community park with tennis courts, a skate park and kids playground, a fitness area, running track, reasonably clean toilets and a covered picnic area. Great on a sunny day.
Beautiful! Very clean and well looked after. 🦋🐝🕊🌞 👌
Went here for the Summer Twilight market. Very well looked after and enjoyed our time here.
Excellent place to sit and enjoy the sunshine, have the kids play in the park or walk the dog. There aren't water taps for the dogs anymore but there are taps if you have your own bowl. The park is the perfect place for the Summer Night Market hosted in the park too ☺️

What a wonderful experience I had today visiting the chocolate shop in Warragul.. fantastic service from a lovely couple John and Taryn, great atmosphere and great knowledge with their products .. I’ll definitely be back.. The shop is extra inviting too 😁
Fantastic! Terrific customer service and a great range of reasonably priced treats. Highly recommended
This has to be the worst example of poor customer service ive recieved to date. What a rude arrogent man (presumably the owner) I hadnt stepped 3 feet into the store and began browsing at some caramel fudge when he bellows over the top of the customers he is already serving to tell me not to touch things i didnt intend on buying. Good way to make sure I didnt purchase anything. What a terrible experience. Will not return
We visited this beautiful little shop yesterday and the variety of gift ideas was amazing, but that’s is not all, the service is even better we were served by this wonderful lady who wrapped our goodies in a basket so beautifully. Very friendly service. I highly recommend it.
Taryn & John have welcomed us at The Warragul Chocolate Shop. Their customer service is fantastic, and they always greet our family like they've known us for years. It's a beautiful addition to Warragul to have them as the owners of the choc shop!
My mother went to the Warragul chocolate shop today and while browsing the chocolates she took a picture of a chocolate with her phone to show us kids and was very rudely talked to by a staff member saying she wasn't allowed to take pictures of anything in the store without permission. it's a public place she can take pictures of whatever she wants and there is no sign up saying otherwise but what a rude thing to say to a customer. She wont be going back to that shop ever again.
Always greeted with a smile! We’ve recently moved to the area, and both Taryn & John have made our family (me, especially - haha! 😂) feel very welcome! First class customer service, the way it used to and should be. Once again, thank you 😊
Disappointing service from the staff, over the years the service has been quite unfriendly but bearable. However, my little 11 y/o sister went into the store to buy lollypops for her birthday cake to be harassed for her vaccination certificate and chastised for taking a photo of the lollypop to check with her mum that she was buying the right one. Little kids are not supposed to return from a lolly shop crying. Small local businesses will not survive long with this level of poor customer service.

A great play centre for kids. We brought our toddler here and she had the best time. The entry fees and food & drinks are really affordable. It's unlike other play centres that charge you an arm and a leg. The facilities are great - clean and very kid friendly with something for everyone. There's even a toddler room for younger kids. As a local, I'd highly recommend this play centre for families who are looking for fun kids activities.
Super friendly and helpful people. The chai and coffee is very good too. I like that they do all sorts of community services like counselling and friendship groups and craft groups for kids. I reckon it'd be a great place for a birthday party for a primary school kid.
It's not very big, but has a lot for the little ones to do. Very safe, clean toilets and lovely staff. Great catering at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a place to have a coffee and/or snack with like minded parents and grandparents - this is for you.
Took my son here to have a play for his birthday. Was happily playing with him and then told adults were not allowed to go on the playground by a member of staff. My son doesn't like playing by himself, so we left a few minutes later, as he was crying for my partner and I to join him. There are plenty of signs mentioning adult supervision is required, but none that state parents aren't allowed on the playground. Would rather travel to another play centre were I'm allowed to play with my child.
The playground is small and cramped, the party area is at the same area as the playground so it's super noisy. Parents are not allowed in the playground, which would've been fair if only they had staff members watching the children. When I was there, there was only this one volunteer who looks no older than 12, who was constantly on the phone. Other staff members were too busy working at the Cafe and at the pre booked party. Nobody cared some of the older kids were being really rough and couldn't give a sh*t of the younger ones around. Some of the toys in the closed off area meant for younger kids are broken and appeared to be patched up with sticky tape. I'm not local so not sure if there's any other playground around. The local parks are much better option and they're free.
My son's 5th birthday today was a very easy to organise and the kids had a great time. Perfect for an indoor party for our winter baby. The party host was lovely and having her pace the event meant I could enjoy chatting to parents rather than running the show.
This is a great find while on a mini get-away with kids. So much for kids to do, very friendly staff, the menu is reasonably priced with great healthy choices for kids (fresh veg cut up suitable for tiny fingers). Highly recommend
Beautiful and lovely place for kids. Very helping staff with smiling faces. you can enjoythe coffee while your kids play. very cost effective option for families. Absolutely loved this place.

The Staff Were Fantastic Great Place For The Kid's To Enjoy.
Terrible lanes & ball returns are constantly not working properly. Prices for games, food & drinks are ridiculously high. Owner doesn't seem to care about anything. Young bloke & young girl working the front counter are decent.
love this joint, perfect for everyone!! love that young girl miranda such a great staff member always so bright. you guys sell great soft drink
Good coffee and nice environment
Thank you so much for an amazing experience! We had a blast! Fantastic customer service from both team members, much appreciated!
Nice place to hangout and relatively good service. My friends and I will definitely visit again.
Not a great experience. We couldn't use our own shoes and we were slipping basically every time we tried to bowl. The place is clean and isn't as loud as something like strike bowling. Nice little arcade area. It is unfortunate you have to be 12 or under for bumpers.
Asked to buy a drink and the two employees said they were under age. Another employee arrived and was not offered service. I asked at the end of the second game if the person was over age and they said yes. Good way to do your boss out of business. I won't return.

Great house with many different things to do there 😊
My wife Donna and I went into see about her doing an arts course. The ladies were absolutely fantastic and patient and gave great advice. Thank you, team.
Just the right place for any range of activities, arts classes, religious gatherings and so on. Very welcoming and accepting of all cultures and interests.
Many things to help a wide community probably not known to some, a great service mo
Could be a bit nicer for peaple that struggle just to go through doors in there life and the stuff could make you feel abit more welcome when you walk in, if you have just moved here well it hard for some peaple to meet other peaple, to help them to feel confident more
Beautiful neat and clean venue, and lot of shirt course on offer, hand on, practical orientated ,which are helpful on day to day basis.
Great mostly volunteer run, well renovated building. A bit crowded for covid risk, even with reduced numbers still busy.
Lovely ladies at reception very helpful lots of courses running through the community house something for everyone

My wife and I have attended two cooking classes at String & Salt as work social club activities, the first was Turkish Table and the second was Chinese Dumplings 👨‍🍳. The classes are hands on and you can participate as much or little as you like. The presenters were knowledgeable and engaging, comprehensive notes were supplied to each student at the beginning on a clipboard with a pencil so notes can be made as you go. The class sits together at a very large dining table and you eat what you have learned to and helped to cook. Mel the Cooking School Manager is friendly and keeps the classes ticking along nicely. If you enjoy cooking and would like to learn about a new cuisine to add to your repertoire I highly recommend you have a look at what String & Salt has to offer. The retail store has some very nice, quality cooking utensils, kitchen gadgets, in-house spices and blends and a full showroom of top end cooking appliances 🥘🍳. Update: I have participated in the Big Pig Weekend salami and charcuterie making two day workshop. Very comprehensive tuition and hands on practice, after attending this workshop you will have the confidence to tackle making your own. Excellent content and expert presenters, highly recommended 👌 I have purchased a Cleaver curing cabinet (the Hog Plus) to cure the salumi that I learned to make at The Big Pig Weekend, well made piece of equipment that turns out excellent cured products.
Amazing range of spices and tea sold by weight, including native quandong, pepperberry and juniper berries. Eco-conscious kitchenware and stuff - including beeswax fabric for wrapping lunches, metal straws etc
String & Salt has a huge selection of herbs and spices. So if you like to try exotic cuisine, best place to go. The price is reasonable and the staff helpful and friendly. They are located in Warragul.
We recently brought a falcon oven at string and salt. From the time we went into the store, to the delivery at our house the service was highly professional Would highly recommend. Thanks to Dave, Donna and all the staff ,
This store has a huge range of lovely products for just about every room in a house. I noticed a range of small local business’ selling their products within this store also; showing great support for others. The service was really friendly and helpful, and assisted me with ordering my very first dinner set! Overall I strongly recommend this store, it is located on a Main Street surrounded with other wonderful shops; making your shopping experience well over worth it.
My husband and I attended Dave’s salting and curing class today and absolutely loved it! Dave was so knowledgeable and we took so much away from the class. The day was so much fun and the atmosphere of the class was very relaxed and enjoyable. The shop itself is beautiful and was filled with so many beautiful homewares. Would highly recommend this class to anyone considering.
This store is fabulous. They have the greatest range of herbs, salts and spices. I love the shop. You can also get all sorts of interesting and innovative cooking utensils as well as the most amazing ovens are on sale there. They have wood ovens. If I could win Lotto, my first purchase would be a wood oven from this store along with a range of amazing cookware, They also hold workshops for cooking and making different items. It is well worth a visit.
Amazing store with a brilliant range of kitchen wares & spices. The service we received from David after purchasing a Falcon oven has been nothing short of amazing. The oven itself is incredible but the help David provided with delivery etc was well worth the 5 stars! I couldn't recommend this business enough! (and the cooking classes are also fantastic).. Keep up the great work David & team
