Cannot be missed!! Tranquil and gorgeous. It’s an absolute must see if you’re in Rangiroa
Loved this place. I plan to go back in the near future, if God let's me....
One of the most fabulous lagoon. Good for diving, snokerling. The corals and fish are amazing.

Amazing dive shop! We dived 2-3 times with them. Greg is one of the best guide! One family only had 6 dive and Greg protected them very well in the unexpected currents. Greg also read the waves and currents very well and always kept an eye on his students. Celine is a great guide and encouraged me to do my very own first ocean fast drift dive! They also do CCR here. This place is nice. Free pick up and drop off. Free coffee tea and fresh water. Lunch you can order amazing grilled chicken or fish. We hang out here 7:20 - 16:20. Also has several sofa beds you can take a nap. Top notch equipment. All Scubapro BCD, scubapro fins, scubapro reg, wetsuit. Will come back! Easy flight from the west coast. And Marieon is so responsive and detailed for her email.
I have had 6 dives with The Six Passengers. They are very friendly, the safety is very high and they have well maintained equipment! They are really good at putting together a diving team depending on what level you are at. Sending my warmest recommendations.
Spent a week diving with 6 passengers. Professional team, caters to all levels of divers. They were extremely accommodating when I was placed in groups with lesser experience in the water. Dive guides knowledgeable and very safe! Suitable for all dive levels, however would recommend AOW and experience in the blue / challenging current / swell. Sharks, mantas, eagle rays, and dolphins!! If you like pelagics this place is magical. Highly recommend this shop they were fantastic. Consider diving at least 4-5 days to get the full experience, see something different every dive.
Super cool dive shop spot, and incredibly kind, accommodating, fun dive masters! Had such a wonderful experience here. The food is wonderful too!
Great for all divers, but especially advanced/experienced divers who want to maximize their trip and see as much as possible! The dive shop functions like a well-oiled machine, loaning out gear, putting you in small groups, and getting out diving as much as possible. The gear is obviously heavily used, but still functions really well! From drift diving the strong currents, checking out the blue for dolphins and sharks, or relaxing along the reef, you'll never get bored diving here. All dive masters (shout out to Roger, Merlin, and Pauline!) know these waters VERY well. They pick the best dives based on the currents, and what you're interested in seeing. And they all handle the majority of the gear for you in-between dives! Pauline was especially kind and patient with the less-experienced divers in our group, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Lunch is available and quite good! Wonderful way to spend some time relaxing in between your 10am and 2pm dives. 2 points worth noting we wished we knew ahead of time planning our trip: 1 - International flights need a full 24 hours after diving, but inter-island flights only need 12. 2 - If you want to maximize your chances of dolphins, call the shop and see when the outgoing currents are. It changes every day!
Great outfit to dive with and super friendly DMs-one even pulled over his moped to say goodbye to us as we were taking photos near the airport before we departed. Loved diving the wild Tiputa pass with them and always felt safe.
A million stars for this beautiful place 💖One of the best dives of my life( a dolphin tried to hug me 💙💙💙)... the sweetest friendly dolphins, the sweetest friendly dive staff. Glorious viz, sharks, dolphins, eagle rays, fun current. Really genuine, enthusiastic DMs, good gear, warm wetsuits, great organisation so even though it's super busy it feels welcoming. I was lucky enough to dive with JL twice, who was really thoughtful about trying to put people people of similar experience together but all the guides were great and I think beginners would feel very well looked after and more experienced divers free to really enjoy. Just the perfect dive shop. I think it's my favourite place I've dived in 25 years... Cant wait to go back soon!
It's a great diving centre! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the equipment is excellent. The lunch is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! However, I have to deduct two stars for the following reasons: 1. The diving centre is huge... This means that you always dive with 5-7 people... Which of course makes it difficult for the diving centre to form suitable groups. So you dive with people of completely different diving levels, which simply takes away the fun because you always have to adapt to the "beginners", which is not great for the prices in French Polynesia. If you have to specify how many dives you have done and what level you are at, you would expect to be able to dive at that level, especially at spots like Tiputa Pass, where there is so much to see between 25 and 40 metres, or where you can dive into a canyon during the drift if you have enough air. This is no problem for advanced divers, but impossible if you are diving with beginners. And that's exactly how it was: 3 out of 4 dives had to be aborted or ended prematurely or limited to a depth of 20 metres because of beginners... And the second reason is the smoke guide Marleen (I hope that's spelled correctly), who is absolutely unpleasant and then gets cheeky when you offer a little criticism... One dive with him limited to 20 metres. I ended the dive after 55 minutes with 100 bar, as we did absolutely nothing except waste time. We dived for about 10-15 minutes at a depth of 20 metres, then waited for about 15 minutes at a depth of 15 metres until one person from the group had finished their photo session and another person had sorted out their buoyancy problems. And then we swam for 10 minutes (due to slight waves) from a depth of about 15 metres up to shallow water and spent a mere 15 minutes at a depth of 5-6 metres doing NOTHING. When we resurfaced, you could see the frustration on my face. He then asked me about it on the boat, and when I confronted him, he had no better response than to say that this is just how the dives are here and that this is the dive spot. When I told him that I had already done eight completely different dives at exactly the same spot and said that it just doesn't work with such mixed groups, he became rude and said that I was only angry with him because we hadn't seen any dolphins... But another diver was sitting next to me on the boat (she had done a dive with Marleen the day before) and said it was exactly the same for her... But yes, always look for someone else to blame 🤷🏽‍♀️ As compensation, I was offered a free dive, but of course all places are booked up for the next few days (which reflects point 1). Well, too bad! I guess there are dives like that too... Jimmy and the rest of the team do their best to give everyone a great diving experience. I wish them the best!

The guide did the tour in French and English though I think the French version got a little more information. Was really interesting, then we watched the harvesting in process which was very interesting. Lots of options for purchase.
We didn’t end up buying a pearl but the explanation on how pearls are cultured was fascinating. Also being able to see it happen was very interesting. Presentation was done in English and French (the French had more info than the English but not that much 😛)
When my friend and I came here, the tour had already started and was being conducted in French. So, I only bought pearl earrings here because all the shops in Tahiti were going to be closed on Sunday, and I had no chance to buy pearls there. Later, I realized that the price used for the tax calculation was strange. The tax is supposed to be 16% of the original price, but they charged me more than that. It’s a pity that the shop was closed over the weekend and I had to leave Rangiroa on Sunday, so I didn’t have a chance to go back and ask about it. However, the staff were all helpful and attentive.
Tours in French or English by friendly staff. Tours at 8, 10 or 14h. Free shuttle bus to bring you to the farm. As there is not to much to visit on Rangiroa, this is one of the absolut highlights.
Great place to learn and see the whole process of pearls creation, visit in English was perfect and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My highlight was to watch live the pearl extractions on oysters, the expertise is amazing! Note that the visit is now 1000xpf per person but it’s well worth it!
Superb explanation of the whole pearl growing process. And the selection of pearls in the shop is very nice, too.
I learned a great deal about the black pearls and how they are farmed. I also enjoyed the purchases I made.
Interesting to learn how pearls are cultured and watch how they are skillfully removed from the oyster shells.

I had the pleasure of diving with Top Dive in Rangiroa, and I can’t express enough how exceptional the experience was. From the moment I arrived, the white glove service provided by their incredible staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Each team member is not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of every diver. This trip was emotional for me, filled with many personal “firsts” – from encountering dolphins, sharks, and rays up close to navigating some challenging dive conditions. Through it all, the Top Dive staff were supportive, professional, and encouraging, making every dive unforgettable. Thank you for creating such a remarkable and safe environment to explore the beauty of Rangiroa. I can’t wait to return!
Had 2 amazing days of diving with Top Dive! Every member of the staff was super nice and did their Job well. I brought my own gear but it looks like they have modern equipment.
Great dive center - we did a couple of dives with Topdive and all the three guides, Belen, Manu and Tibault, were super professional and helpful. Their briefings were on point, an excellent explanation of this challenging dive site so everyone was prepared for what‘s coming ☺️ The rental equipment was also working well. Highly recommend 👌🏽
The diving was good, but I have felt the admin office being unresponsive. I have paid for the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification with Rangiora TopDive and I've been told that it was approved however it still has not appeared on my PADI profile. I have sent several emails to the diving shop without receiving any response. I am still waiting for my certification.
Diving with Top Dive feels like you're diving with family. It's a smaller, intimate experience at a much slower and relaxed pace. Everyone working here is incredibly friendly and willing to do whatever they can to make sure your diving dreams come true. We did 2 last-minute dives with Manu and Tapu (forgot the spelling, sorry!) and both were incredibly kind, patient, and friendly. They didn't just KNOW these waters well and pick the best dives possible, they cared about your experience and making sure you had a wonderful time. From hotel pickup, to the 5-min walk along the beach for a tasty snack, and plenty of places to store your backpacks while diving... we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Call ahead or stop by days early to talk to the dive shop about what you want to see and which dives/times you should go out to increase your chances (like dolphins, hammerheads, etc.) Free nitrox if certified! Gear is in fantastic condition and feels new. Restrooms and shop is super clean. Dive masters handle the majority of your gear like tanks, BC units, and even weight belts in-between dives. Couldn't recommend more!
This is our third year diving with Top Dive and my partner and I have done over 50 dives each with this team. They crushed it again this year and we can't wait to return next year. We got the dolphins with each divemaster and they are all amazing. Thanks to Manu, Manu, Belen, Thibault, and Malika for the amazing experiences! We saw lots of Dolphins, Hammerheads, Silver Tips, a Tiger Shark, Silky Sharks, the school of barracuda, two Mantas, so many Grey Reef Sharks, and so much more. Safety and attention to guests needs is a top priority for this shop. We even noticed the Manager helping guests book dives with another shop as Top Dive was full. Belen also called Top Dive in Fakarava to setup guests for that potion of their trip. The captains of the boats are great, and gear is in good order; this is the best shop on the island!!!
Awesome spot and a brilliant team! We loved the dives we did here, the staff all looked after us well, provided us with everything we needed, got us out to and from the dive sites really promptly and did it all safely with a high level of professionalism. The gear was all really great quality, those who didn’t have their dive computers were provided one to borrow and the tanks, wetsuits and boats etc. were all in fantastic condition. Plus, the dives were stunning; Dolphins, sharks, turtles… the list goes on! I’ll be back, for sure!
We had two lovely dives with Thibaut. He was a wonderful guide and the whole diving center is very professional. We saw dolphins at the end on both dives :)

Yannick was a superb manager on land and fantastic dive guide underwater. He gives a very chill and calm vibes yet still very professional. Everything was briefed and I feel super safe. Nobody could've done it better to enjoy amazing Rongaria dives. Highly recommended! I will come back!
Romain, our dive master, is the best dive master in finding dolphins. 2 encounter with dolphins in 4 dive. Romain is chilled, patient and attentive. Yaka shop is clean, nice and the captain Alexis is one of the best on the island. Romain is also one of the 4 oldest guide in Rangiora. If you wanna see dolphins, dive with Romain.
We had an incredible experience diving for 4 days at Y AKA. The team is professional and enthusiastic and the equipment is in great condition. The groups are kept small on purpose, making the dives a great personal experience. A special shout out to Romain and Hiti who both took great care of us and made our dream to dive with dolphins come true.
We had an amazing experience with Yaka and totally recommend them! We went diving 2 days and every single dive was incredible. The team is super friendly, attentive, respectful of marine life, and patient with all divers. We really enjoyed the experience and would totally come dive with them again! Thank you Yannick and team!!!
I recently planned a last-minute trip to Rangiroa, and I was blown away by the exceptional service from start to finish. From Marie-Ange in the reservations team to my dive master Romain, everyone went above and beyond to make my trip seamless and enjoyable. Romain was particularly outstanding - his extensive knowledge and passion for marine life made our dives truly unforgettable. He took the time to spot and identify the very creatures I was eager to see. I'm already looking forward to returning and exploring more of Rangiroa's incredible dive sites with this team.
I can't forget the place I went to in December 2015, so I'm planning to visit again on November 26th. I can't see Katy, Marco, and Nana from that time.
Everything about this dive shop is exceptional. The diving instructors, photographer, and boat driver were all extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable even when we didn't speak French, only English. We really appreciated the briefings of where we will dive. We felt very prepared and safe throughout our dive experience. On our last dive we pet a dolphin and saw a group of eagle rays and sharks! What an amazing experience! Highly recommend
Diving perfection ! The staff is very relaxed yet incredibly professional, technical, and knowledgeable. And the flora & fauna are just amazing. On our last dive we hit Tiputa Pass on a fast-paced drift dive into the lagoon... Dolphin and shark extravaganza ! Dive with Y AKA, you're in the best hands. Special shout-out to Romain and Stéphane, dive masters extraordinaires.

My wife and I booked two dives each day for three days and they were the BEST dives we have experienced . The equipment was new and worked great, the Diving center is well organized, great location, very short boat ride to dive site, and most of all the amazing people. Pamela is so kind and we learned so much about the dolphins from her. Our Divemaster Cyril gave very detailed dive briefings before every dive so we knew exactly the dive profile and what to expect. He is excellent to dive with and showed us so much marine life from sharks, turtles, barracuda, abundant fish on the coral, and especially the dolphins. We were fortunate to experience dolphins up close on most of our dives. The boat captains are also very friendly and helpful. I love this dive center focuses on promoting a sustainable approach to the marine life and small size diving groups. I Highly recommend booking your dives with the Rangiroa Diving Center. We are planning a return trip.
My dad and I had an incredible experience diving with Rangiroa Diving Center. The highlight was the sunset dive, where we witnessed a fascinating underwater scene—fish searching for hiding spots for the night while sharks cruised by, seemingly memorizing those locations for their evening hunt. The way the sunlight filtered through the water at that hour was absolutely magical. Equally thrilling was the drift dive, which felt like an underwater roller coaster—so much fun and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. The instructors were extremely safety-focused, which made us feel comfortable and confident throughout all our dives. Their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive in Rangiroa!
Fantastic dive centre. We did 6 dives, with Cyril and Theo. They were great instructors and prioritised safety but were also very informative on all of the underwater life. We saw dolphins, hammerheads, eagle rays and a tiger shark!
Rangiroa Diving Center was absolutely fabulous! From our first communication, they were very quick to respond and assist us with all of the arrangements. Both Martin and Pamela went above and beyond throughout our time with them and I can easily say…they are the heart of the dive center! Martin continually checked in with us during our stay and even visited us at Kia Ora one evening after we took a day off of diving. He is a fabulous manager that truly cares about his divers and customers. Pamela was kind, helpful, friendly and always very timely when she picked us up from our resort each day and the ride to the dive center was very pleasant. Both captains, Tuarii and Raatini were both safe, helpful and very good captains! We even saw them cleaning and preparing the boats before our dives each day making sure that they were well cared for! The boats were not overcrowded like other dive centers. There were never more than 8 divers on each boat offering the divers plenty of room to spread out! Cyril, our instructor and dive leader was attentive to us throughout every dive and did a wonderful job pointing out sea creatures of all kinds, including a dolphin and manta ray! The dives were strategically planned out to offer us a 1hr + dive on EVERY DIVE! He pampered us by carrying, setting up, disassembling and cleaning our gear each day offering us a relaxing and fun experience. We did not rent equipment but I saw the rental equipment that the other divers were using. It was all in “like new” condition, including the aqualung wetsuits. I’d wished I’d just used their gear and saved the hassle of bringing my own. I know from experience, rental gear in this condition isn’t common and I respect this dive center for keeping it in good condition! I can easily recommend Roatan Diving Center! From the first contact, to the last day we spect with them, they exceeded our expectations! Don’t hesitate to schedule your diving with them! You won’t regret it!
We saw so much marine life (dolphin, barracudas, sharks [great hammerheads, black tip, white tip, reef], wrasse [napoleon, bird], rays [stingray, spotted eagle rays], turtles, etc). We got the chance to dive Tiputa Pass. The divemasters and boat captains are very good. Martin, the manager and Divemaster is outstanding. He helped my wife improve buoyancy. Both of us learned better breathing techniques and with a fin recommendation we were able to improve our efficiency diving in current by 20%. We highly recommend Rangirao Diving Center. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back in 2025.
I had a nice time diving with Rangiroa Diving Center in May. They depart from the jetty and the sites are really close. The underwater life is something to see. They also have two sweet cats which I enjoyed playing with on our surface interval. Thanks for an enjoyable experience!
We had a couple of dives with these guys and whilst I wasn’t initially sold by diving the same spot both times, I was quickly humbled by two very different dives, both exceptional, and I reckon we could have dived there another 12 times and had another 12 very different dives. The team are really knowledgable; the organisation and communication with Pamela was very easy, Cyril was a fantastic dive guide that managed the group really well. I’d like to particularly thank Pamela and Martin for staying with us when we needed some help after the dive with a medical issue. They really didn’t need to, but we really appreciated it. 10/10 guys - thank you very much.
Overall: A superb diving center in Rangiroa, highly recommend and definitely hope to dive with them again. Once in a lifetime diving experience. Safety: The Center has a strong emphasis on ensuring the safety of divers. Theo, our divemaster, patiently gave us a detailed briefing with a miniature model and maps of Tiputa Pass, which was very helpful in visualizing the dive route. Theo made sure we descended slowly and as a group, making sure to accommodate our friend who had some routine equalization problems. The full set of diving equipment was assembled at the Center for an initial inspection before they were moved to the boat. On the boat, we conducted another pre-dive check before entering the water. Equipment: Excellent wet suit with well-maintained regulators and hoses. Dive Experience: We were a group of three people, two of us had around 20-30 dives, and one of us had around 10 dives. On the morning of our dive, the current was outgoing, i.e. flowing from the lagoon to the open ocean, so we stayed near the reef side of Tiputa Pass. From time to time, we dove towards the deep blue from the reef to search for larger creatures. Surrounded by the deep blue, it felt like we were floating in space. We saw an array of marine creatures, from barracudas and sharks to sea turtles and manta rays. The most unforgettable was a close-up encounter with a family of dolphins swimming right next to us. Location: Located conveniently near the pier, which is itself a gorgeous photo spot, the Center is only a short minute walk to the boat. There are restaurants and places to rent scooters/bikes nearby. Dive Center Facilities: Comfortable outdoor showers and clean bathrooms. There is also a spacious outdoor covered area with tables and chairs to relax between dives. Ecological and Educational Aspects: Theo emphasized the importance of not touching marine life, especially dolphins. After the dive, we also had the chance to chat with Pamela, their in-house expert on dolphin ecology.
