Amazing park. Brilliant for children. The park has everything that you need from flying foxes, swings, slides, everything. Perfect place to stop if you are out and about on a road trip or just running chores around town with the kids. Amazing park and a must go if you have children.
Like one of the best parks ever 😍🥳🤘 Me and my three daughters always stop in for park play when traveling down from Auckland too catch the ferry too Picton or when getting off the boat too travel back home, I always say that I wish they had this park in Auckland lol it's beautiful, colorful, so many options and there's separate age group objects suitable for the babies and ages going up 😊 the entire park is amazing, it's drawing and the primary too intermediate age group objects are super cool too
Amazing place withs lots of play options for all ages . This have picnic area dog are and community kitchen . We had amazing day here today . Thanks
Great place to stop during road trips. Kids get to stretch their legs, play basketball, swings, slides, you name it, they have it. Adults can purchase coffee (ice coffee was amazing) Toilets lovely and clean.
Great place for a picnic for families, kids and dogs. All are fenced and can be freed with hands.
Excellent for a stop off for the kids. Easy parking and open the back doors and watch that pent uo energy get quickly spent. Get em to run when they pull up the flying fox to the start, thatll wear em out for the next leg of your trip!!
Great for kids playground and can book for birthdays with toilet facilities. Have events for family in the weekend with plenty of space and korhanga. Shopping across the road in the main street. Pity the small 🚂 rides weren't working.
Using Google Maps to remember my home town 20 years ago as a child, as a Brit, who eventually went back. The adventure park was brilliant then and is more or less the same as it is now. Epic way for a kid to grow up, I can confirm the memory stays with you forever.

Beautiful lake but very polluted by stormwater and sewage discharges. Current cleanup efforts are expensive and ineffective because discharges continue.
Absolutely disgusting, was really disappointed when I took my hubby there to show him where we as kids use to go for family day outs and picnics. Bins overflowing, the lake polluted and over grown with weed. Really disappointing
Could be a great asset to the region and tourism. But the potential of this wonderful asset is yet to be utilised by the local council and its community. We enjoyed the sunny day and feeding the Geese.
I thought it was great, huge lake, looked after, lots of bins at the park, I counted 13 of them in one field lol but great either eay
Its a shame its polluted :( We really need to clean up the world and lakeflys swarming it
Not at all an attractive place to visit. Not well maintained like it used to be.I found it saddened me.
It stinks!! You wouldn't want to have a picnic there. Birds need to be culled or rehomed.
Nice place to go and relax, have a pizza and chill out .Needs to have a coffee cart with cold drink options here to attract the punters.

A very nice place to visit if you love nature, walking and trailing with family. You also swim into the river.
2 of us stayed Friday to Sunday and absolutely loved it. Friendly campers, beautiful river, close to town and even the cockroaches in the toilet were friendly lol. Definitely will be staying again.
Haven't camped here yet, but will be before the end of summer. It's FREE!!! You can bring your dog as long as you clean up after it, and keep it under control. The river is lovely, lots of good spots to swim. Did I mention...it's FREE? Plenty of space to set up your camp, just be considerate and respectful, and enjoy it.
Great for summer camping. So much space, lovely bush walk, river access. Get a permit to camp for 4 nights from Horowhenua District Council
Stayed twice now, love it here. Nice and quiet and toilets, cold shower and rubbish. Definitely one of our go to places.
Great quite place, plenty of space for dogs too. Toilets are open only during summer.
Very peaceful! Beautiful river and not busy. Toilets and shower here as well although I had my own. Highly recommended!
good quite spot , toilets locked in winter , lots of space in summer to spread out and cool off in the river

Awesome products at great prices! Lovely couple who went out of their way to make sure I got what I wanted. Recommend to all!
Ordered some items from owner took a long time to come. Owner advised after chasing up order he was coming my to my town and said he could drop my order off. The quality was substandard a lot of not so good detail on what I ordered which could be due to mould wear and tear. The toes on a dragon I ordered had been broken spots of cement in places where they shouldn't be which makes it very hard to get a good paint job on it. I also ordered another item from owner the website does not work properly and was not giving proper stock amounts. The owner said it was out of stock after I had ordered it. Was promised the item back in the beginning of May. After emailing end the end of May and saying I wanted to cancel the order and asking for a refund which he initially agreed to I had to still chase that up. I was then told he was coming to my town and he will bring me one not very happy with the quality spots of cement where it shouldn't be on it and I really would have preferred to refund. Will not buy again from this seller.
Great quality work..open to ideas always busy lots of stock in store to choose from as well as catalogue...allow time if getting something made from scratch as concrete etc needs time to cure etc.
First time visitor..and impressed..just thought it would have had more of sales available approach ..but staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice and accommodating owner. Good product and good prices
This is a great place to Potter they make on site and have a great range we have brought bits and pieces that are interesting and always asked where they came from
Very helpful and friendly couple willingly to spend the time to ensure you get what you want.
Great workmanship, friendly helpful staff and a great selection of quality products.

Short but a lovely track through a beautiful Forest. I seem to always followed closely by the cutest lil Fantail. Enjoyed weekly by my family ❤️
Nice, easy, short walk. My 5 year old loved looking for mushrooms and birds. Track is well maintained. Enjoyed stretching our legs here.
Brilliant short walk, easy and well maintained track.
Lovely short bush walk. Flat the whole way so good for small kids as an 'adventure'. Only about 10 minutes walk unless stopping to investigate every leaf. My 2.5 and 4 year olds managed to run the whole way through on our return walk.
Awesome 10 min walk in the thick Jungle. Loved it. Start walking from the Queen Street East Roundabout (on SH57) to Waiopehu Bush will take max. 30 min.
Fantasic walks (two short walks or the longer walk - which is not too long). Lovely and cool on a hot summer's day. Congrats to the people who maintain it. C&T.
Nice short walk to do with the kids and the pram was easy to navigate through. Sorry walk so good for the kids too
The track was a bit wet but still had a nice walk

Have purchased jams online and visited several times in the past. Today thought I would buy the strawberries and ice cream on impulse - great impulse. While the jam is stunning the strawberries were something else, tasty, juice or just unbelievable. We decided to try the ice cream, again this was out of this world, not sweet with a very strong strawberry taste in a waffle cone. This place is a must. We did get to stock up with strawberry jam as well as a few other high quality products.
We had a great time there with Thier ice cream with choc add on the place look spacious as it comes with a small tiny playground. The entry road look may look suspicious but don't worry just drive all the way in .They even have asparagus as well.
Fresh strawberries, whittakers chocolate and strawberry ice cream - what else could you ask for! Match made it heaven! The rocky road is to die for! While there you can get a delicious tray of strawberries and raspberries. Frozen options too. Variety of local products and food available too. Lovely staff and lots of space. Would highly recommend. There is also a play ground for the young visitors to run around and play in.
Awesome playground and delicious strawberry ice creams. Great for a small road trip from Palmy with the kids. Little bit expensive, but isnt everything these days, and honestly so delicious, it's worth the money.
Very busy, but can understand why. Love the little shop with some great healthy food options. I brought some strawberries which were devine & the aparagus was really good once cooked at home. Also has Kimchi, Hot honey & other homemade, vegan organic foods. The real fruit icream is another bonus. Will bring my kids & mokopuna when back in Aotearoa.
We thought this was well worth the stop. Strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, coffee, asparagus and a nice playground for the kids to take a break after a long drive.
Best strawberries! Juicy and sweet. Great place to stop by if you're travelling north or south bound. Kids enjoyed the big playground and fresh frozen fruit icecream
Bought some fresh and tasty strawberries for a gathering and everybody loved it! Had a refreshing strawberry Ice cream to cool off the body. Can't wait to try the strawberry jam.
