Remote Polynesian island covered in tropical jungle with idyllic beaches, resorts and a canoe race.

On holidays with family. Check this vegetation and a fruit which I would like the name. I think it's a mix of apple cinnamon and soursop. What do you think? Any name?
Absolutely Beautiful! People are very friendly!
Off the island of Huahine, aquamarine-studded lagoons beckon kiteboarders, surfers, snorkelers, and an array of sea life. Shallow in parts and deep in others, these beautiful lagoons make the ocean seem far more vast than meets the eye. Beautiful and scarcely developed; this French Polynesian island is the perfect place to get some vacation therapy.
Very nice and savage.
We just returned from our trip to Huahine. Beautiful jungle and a nice lagoon. the best part is the smaller island in the south with its beach Avea. Hana Iti beach is small and always full of noisy people. Plus the local "caretaker"is annoying. If you do airbandb AVOID TWO COOTAGES RUN BY A LOCAL WOMAN TITAUA! One chalet is called KITE LODGE and the other one LA MAISON BLEUE. Dirty and dangerous old places - we had to clean the house completely before staying there. I had an accident while the stairs leading to the house broke down because they were so old. I had a huge open wound that needed to be sewed. She was completely uninterested. Her boyfriend was staring at us and watching us every night. They both made our stay there very difficult. This couple should be banned from accommodating foreigners by airbandb. STAY IN A RESORT!
Beautiful island, our family loved spending a week here. Plenty to do on the water, and not crowded at all.
The people are more extraordinary than the landscape and that's a lot to say. I will certainly return.
Third time visiting this island.my favourite.
