A nice clean well maintained park close to the centre of town. Has a large playground with bbq facilities, open areas and a pond with landscaped surrounds. A nice gravel walking track goes around the park as well as out to the wetlands area. A nice mural and a plane on a large pole add to the features of this park. An old style rotunda also is here.

Linda was extremely helpful. It may not be the biggest Visitor Info Centre but comprehensive enough to travel further. As it is housed in the old Courthouse building, the buiding itself is worth visiting. There are also exhibits including sculptures by local artists. Linda made a difference to the Visitor Info Centre.

There is always a monthly art exhibition on display. A very good variety of craft goods and tourism items for sale. Tourist brochures and information from across Gippsland for visitors. The 1907 building is well worth a look.

The information Centre occupied just a small room in the old court house. The main part of the building was given over to an art gallery. Friendly helpful staff. The older magistrates chair is still there. You can see the original magistrate bench which is now partially covered up with office equipment and paraphernalia. Plenty of street parking right outside. The dock where the defendant stood is still there too.

Beautiful old building that is seeing a new lease of life. Regular movies are now being shown, asking with the occasional music event. The Mezz bar upstairs now has regular Friday night live music. Very enthusiastic and friendly volunteers. Bar prices are very reasonable, along with limited food options. Great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

We attended a funeral service. Old building, lovely, but the stairs up to the stage for people to speak was a bit inconvenient, especially for the elderly, invalid persons.

Went to have a look at an art exhibition the Yarram Archie's. Nice artworks well displayed, the lady attendant was friendly and chatty. There are some nice locally made art and craft items for sale in the shop.

Yarram Golf Club has a fantastic volunteer run 18 hole course. Every time I've played there the course has been in prime condition. Fairways are generally wide & greens are at a high standard. I happened to meet the club president whilst there, very friendly guy. I'll be back soon for more golf with a few mates next time.
