Lovely lookout and the singing ship is a unique monument. It was not making any noise that l could detect. Great views and the centenary of Anzac memorial is a credit to the district and community.
Eleven plus years since last visit. A lot of changes all for the better. The walkway is a good way to approach. The whole area is clean and tidy and well presented it was breezy during our visit and the ship was singing and the birds squawking. Nice place to take a stroll and remember what those generation sacrificed for us.
We visited on a calm day and there was little wind to hear the ship sing. The statue is a site to behold and well labelled with plaques and information around its origins and a celebration of James Cook.
Lovely stroll with stunning views leading up to the Singing Ship. Easy walk, relaxing atmosphere, and the monument is unique — especially when the wind makes it sing.
Worth going to see - make sure you include a walk on the memorial walkway and include time to see the wonderful photographic tribute to the Anzacs
Visited on a daily windy day and we could hear the singing sails. Wasn't as loud as I thought they would be. Lovely walk along the walkway commemorating the fallen, very moving. Your memorials in Australia are wonderful, so much better than the ones in the UK. Very clean and wonderful views.
Wow this place was amazing. It was raining when we visited but we heard the singing. It was such an amazing area.
Lovely spot for a walk , picnic 🧺 , wonderful views

Well done Emu Park in providing this remarkable memorial tribute to those who served our nation in war.
An honourable tribute for our past and present service men and women who made contributions and sacrifices for us living in the lucky country. Was great to have a beer with a veteran at the local RSL overlooking the war morieal. Lest we Forget
Amazing WWI War Memorial at Emu Park. Beautifully kept. Both Australian an New Zealand flags flying
A great memorial and amazing place to be at for the services on ANZAC Day.
We recently stayed at Emu park and visited this superb RSL memorial park. We have visited many War memorials in Australia and overseas and this one has to the best and most moving emotionally we have been to.A must visit and to pay your respects.
What a fine tribute to local and all ANZACs. This is not my first trip to Emu Park but it was my first to the ANZAC Court as it stands. My uncle and my dad were Rocky boys and used to come to this part often. My dad took us here as kids but not my uncle as he is still an MIA from 27Jan 1951 when his 77 squadron Meteor was shot down over Heju Korea. I am sure both my dad and my uncle would be proud of this memorial. Hope all is good next ANZAC Day and we can come up to this beautiful spot for dawn service in 2021
Amazing what this community has done to preserve and honour our soldiers. Congratulations to you all.
A great place to show respect for our beloved fallen hero's. Lest we forget.💗

Run by volunteers who really have passion about the exhibits. There was an unexpectedly wide range of exhibits from miniature ships and military memorabilia to railway and old emu park plans, pictures, maps, and even old courthouse. It was a very fun place to visit and for a very low fee of $5. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in visiting emu park and has some time spend.
A great find. Looks tiny but easily spend a couple of hours there. Very cheap too. They close at 2pm so don’t go too late
Spent an hour and a half perusing local memorabilia, photos, history and some interesting collections donated by residents (past and present). Museum includes rail carriage, rail tools and carts, plus a building with rooms to show how the pioneers and our predecessors lived. There is much more though. Very interesting. We were guided through by Peter (volunteer), who gave us a great insight into the history and identities of Emu Park.
Dedicated volunteers show the exhibits. They are passionate about the place. Many collections. We liked the railway carriage and the maritime museum the best. Worth a visit.
Great little museum . Very friendly and helpful staff .
For a $5 entry fee, this is a great way to fill in an hour so. Lots of things to see, along with a great display of handcrafted old ships. Our guide Trevor was very informative. A guide gives you a quick tour with information and then you are free to wander through again at your leisure.
Well worth the visit very educational. The lady volunteers very friendly and knowledgeable, special thanks to Carmel
It's like stepping back in time. You need a bit of time to see it all.Great for the whole family.

I was rushing this afternoon to walk 9 holes. I called up to try and book as I'd be there just when they closed at 4pm. I also snapped my putter on the weekend and asked if I could borrow one from the club. The lovely lady on the phone said she would wave my green fees and leave a putter by the door at the club for me to use. Absolute class. Course is always beautiful and well kept. I'll always come back here and spend $. Best course in CQ
Scenic course with an interesting layout. Front nine is easier with gentle slopes and shorter holes. Back nine is more challenging, more hilly and longer holes. The elevated tee on the monster par 5 17th makes you go for your biggest drive!
Some of the most picturesque holes I’ve ever played. A few of the greens have significant damage and are the only downside to this course. Fantastic new veranda for a cold beer after your round.
Did a birthday swing while on holidays in the area and I can't recommend this little golf club enough. Firstly the pricing was excellent. On holidays with no gear of our own, we still played 18 holes with a cart plus club hire, a few balls each and a couple of gloves all for under $100. We were part of a group of 8 deadset hackers but the locals couldn't have been friendlier. We let everyone play through and nobody had a bad thing to say to us. The course itself is great. Front 9 was a hoot while the back 9 got a bit more serious. Unfortunately we'd already put a dent in the drinks stored in the ice esky's attached to the side of the cart so we weren't setting the world alight. But regardless we had a great time on a really picturesque course with really friendly people.
Hilly fairways, need golf carts. Played in August and got bitten by midges while playing so not good. Course was fun and challenging. Clubhouse undergoing renovations. Reasonable green fees
Great course. Heaps of ups and downs. Love the 17th. Friendly and laidback atmosphere to boot.
Golf staff friendly. Some holes are good but this course is definitely not a 4.5 star average. Paid $60 with cart for 18 holes which was the first giveaway that you get what you pay for. Greens are in sub ok condition. Fairway are not fairways. Just normal grass. Disappointed overall. Was expecting much better based on the rating.
Tough golf course to play. Very hilly. Not a flat lie or stance anywhere except on the teeing ground. Blind tee shots, blind approach shots. If you like a challenge, this course is for you. Strongly suggest you hire a buggy, as the inclines are great cardio workout and the downhill portions are rough on the knees. After your game, enjoy a drink in the bar or enjoy the afternoon breezes on the deck. Very friendly, helpful staff will make you feel welcome. Good day out.
