Excellent assortment of wood work, wood art, steel art and painted art. Definitely worth dropping in for a look. Most stuff you can purchase.
Nice shop and coffee. Very nice handcrafted things.
This place is well worth a quick visit just to look at the handmade creations on display. Almost all of the items on display at this gallery are for sale and they all seem to be made locally!
Absolutely lovely Gallery. So much amazing talent and beautiful pieces of crafted timber. Prices totally reflect the time and expertise needed to create such wonderful timber art and furniture. Sadly we are far to far away from home and the cost of shipping would be really be an issue. Don't miss a stop here (there is Coffee etc.), you will be amazed at the talent on display.
Beautiful works of art, nice café
Fantastic timber products, well worth a visit
A fantastic Gallery and wonderful eating place. The Cafe offers a limited but quality range of light lunch meals all of which are fresh, tasty and delicious. A great stop over for lunch on Market Day or any day. And the Gallery show cases the work of a broad range of quality artusts. The wood work is particularly well made and beautifully presented. This Gallery would not be out if place in any city and is certainly a huge draw card for Tolga.
Excellent place for both locals and visitors. Wonderful innovative, delicious food, with amazing woodwork gallery/shop attached. Opposite the very well run local Tolga museum also. Tons of parking including for RV’s. Clean, well-kept toilets. I visit whenever I can. A must-do place for travellers!

Nice little shop for a stop over for a snack and refreshment. Lots of nuts to chose that makes you nutty.
Delicious peanut-related snacks, friendly service, a pit pricey but it's worth it.
Greatly underwhelmed. I drive past this place most days for work. Finally stopped in with some friends and there really isnt anything there to see. Was done in about 3 minutes. Nuts are nice though i suppose.

I attended a weekend jewellery course at Rainforest Gems recently. It was fabulous. I learned exactly what I needed to start making my own jewellery, and enjoyed every minute. In the two days I went from having no experience at all, to walking away feeling confident and ready to start constructing my own designs. I enjoyed the weekend so much that I plan on going back to learn more. Wonderful teaching, a wonderful experience, and worth every cent.
We had an absolutely amazing experience creating our wedding rings here; the owners are extremely hospitable and professional, the shop has beautiful atmosphere and the quality of the materials are exceptional. Highly recommended.
Beautiful art works. Great representation of local Artisans in a variety of modalities from wood, glass and gem stone. The resident lapidary makes some truly beautiful and unique pieces. I think you will find something for everyone's tast and budget.
I have just completed a day of working with Argentium Silver with Aura at the Rainforest Gems Gallery in Tolga. I totally enjoyed it and thank Aura and Laurance for passing on their knowledge and skills to me in a easy going and patiant way. What a wealth of knowledge and artistic silversmithing skills Aura possesses. A lovely treasure for artistic learning on the tablelands.
Family owned business, hand crafted jewlery. Friendly staff. Wheel chair friendly

This museum that houses Military, Railway and the Timber Industry memorabilia from the Tolga region of the early to mid 20th century. The displays of mostly donated items is included incredible as is the volunteer committee that maintains and act as history guides to the visiting public. The main person responsible for this collect and construction of the buildings is Mr Greg Mulley. He is often there for personal guided tours on Tuesday mornings.
The volunteers are cheerful and willing to share their knowledge. The old railway station offers a rich history of the early rail years as well other historical and old artifacts, like one of the first IBM computers. There is also a section of old household items. The other main shed is primarily dedicated to the Women of WWII. There is a large amount of material about the huge hospital that operated near Rocky Creek in the later part of the war. This shed also contains Vietnam War memorabilia. Donation entry. Absolutely loved our visit.
How do you really present? Is it to this museum with locals have my extended family. We got one local entry at five dollars for the others. I had some delicious salt and pepper squid. It felt like I was at a five star restaurant with true country values also had coffee but we did get as we went to coffee works, which is about a 10 minute drive from there enjoy every minute. Looking forward to coming back v very sensible would come back just for the food
Excellent collection of memorabilia. Outstanding volunteer staff with great knowledge. Clean and tidy. Worth a visit but make sure you give an entrance donation as they really deserve it. Only downside is no carpark and having to park up the curb on the grass. Can be difficult for the disabled if raining.
Great little museum. Driven past numerous times and finally had a chance to stop when I had visitors. Was great, highly recommend checking it out, loads to see. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable locals with pride in their community. Admission by donation.
Cleanest museum we have visited. Friendly knowledgeable staff. War , Forestry and Tolga Dam all presented in easy to follow manner. The pickles were great too!
A must visit, to appreciate what our for fathers experienced a war museum you will never forget, free entry but all donations are invited
If your into History and war I guess you'll like it
