Jody was excellent in conducting the wine tasting and was a fabulous host. We ended up buying 6 bottles which we then had shipped to Perth for free! Also there are a few Christmas packages deals and one of them meant we got two free port glasses. Whilst in there several different locals came just to order the wine and were not holding back on the number of bottles as they said they loved these wines so much! If driving near definitely worth a visit! They don’t just do tropical fruit wines but also Ports and Creams.
We found this quaint winery Very interesting. Lovely, clean and in a great position amongst cane fields and gardens..so neat and colourful. Such variety of exotic fruit wines and liquors. Anna was friendly and helpful with choosing our wine tasting. Well worth the visit and Reading the History .
If you're travelling between Cairns and Townsville make sure you pull in. Only 2km off the main road. The staff are lovely. We aren't big drinkers but tasted a few and ended up buying the Davidson plum dry red and mulberry port. The free port glass was a nice surprise. The chocolate factory was closed but we managed to get some of their products from the winery which was also a bonus.
Great tasting fruit wines & liqueurs. Jennifer great host & very informative. Lovely local business.
We spontaneously went for a wine taste. What does tropical wine taste like? Delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, not pushy at all when we said we were 'just curious'. We bought a Davidson plum red and lychee. No preservatives so no headache. The family loved the taste so much we just ordered12 bottles online for Christmas
Great experience. The wines were lovely, and Jo was very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our wines/ports arriving.
Great wine tasting here with a lovely lady called Pam! We turned up a little late but she happily let us still do our tasting! She had a great sense of humour and very friendly - I would highly recommend to anyone on the area or passing by!
Another great visit! Came here 2 years ago and quite enjoyed the wine tasting This time I had my mum with me, Unfortunately she didn't favour the wines, but really enjoyed the liquers and creams on offer! The Red Emperor and Supherb are very nice! I also love the Mulberry Port, Vanilla Liquer, and the Mocha Cream! With a cyclone pending at the moment, the weather was very lovely today 😊
