Great camping and fishing. Views from Rame Head track are superb. Lots of wildlife including Bandicoots and Monitors
A wonderful wild coastline where the river/lakes meet the wild ocean; clean , well-defined paths allow easy walks through teetree forests from which one can glimpse the forces of nature.
Thurra River is amazing!! Inlet, river, lighthouse & the beach. Plenty of wildlife...Just watch out for the River Snakes cruising down the river!
Beautiful beaches and best for 4 wheels. Quiet & fishing.
Mental, one of my favourite spots. Fantastic mtb/walking track around the lakes. Awesome on a boat and great fishing
To reach the camping ground close to the lighthouse, you need to drive on dirt road for almost 50 mins, and the access to the lighthouse via car is closed. A beautiful walking trail to the lighthouse, 2.2 km to the lighthouse takes 55 minutes. The sand dunes and the sunset looks awesome.
Pristine nature, easy access, quiet not many people about. Bush and lake.
One of the best camping experiences so far. Love everything about it. Drop toilet with disability access.

Lovely, secluded campground just back from the beach views. Although not beach accessible as you’re on the hill top! One of our favourite camps so far on a 4 month trip.
the beach is clean but wouldn't recommend it for swimming. had two goanna trying to raid our camp all day and the ticks are really bad.
Nice protected, grassy camp area but pretty small. No water or toilet. The beach is not much to look at, and there probably isn't any beach at high tide. I recommend continuing down the road to Pearl Point and Py Yoot. Py Yoot gives you access to a beautiful beach on the east side of Pearl Point, and Pearl Point itself is stunning with views to the west of Cape Conran.
Amazing beautiful beach . Quiet nature comping spot .
Amazing campsite, easy to views of the beach but not so easy to get down into the sand. Still a really beautiful spot. Would spend the night here again any day
Nice place but crowded due to school holidays. The locals are friendly.
Little campground near the beach. Little walk up to the beach.
Peaceful place. You will have private beach to get sun bathe 🤣
