I'm shocked to hear any negatives reviews I was treated so nice and kindly after my automatic car was not available and I can't drive manual. Gwenda (pictured below) drove me to Anavai Lodge which was a our 30 min away / she even stopped at grocery store to let us pick up food and then proceed to drive us to dinner later that night since we didn't have the car unexpectedly. so I mean I would 10000000% recommend them I thought they were very emblematic of the Taha'a hospitality so I disagree completely with any recent negative posts I thought they turned a bad situation into something totally salvageable! Go Gwenda!!!
Terrible terrible terrible! We had the unfortunate experience of using Taha’a Location for our rental this week. We were quoted one price and then when we arrived it was 30% higher. They bring you to their kiosk which is far from everywhere so you cannot go anywhere else if you choose to. The equipment was broken down and barely worked. Lady at the center was only concerned about our money and not a very good ambassador for the Tahaa people. No directions or recommendations from them. We were told to gas up before our return, okay no problem. But she didn’t tell us the closest gas station was 30 km away and not reachable upon our return. So naturally she charged us an additional 30% premium for the gas we used. When we returned at our scheduled time to catch our ferry she was nowhere to be found. After many attempts and calls she returned, She was on her phone the entire time talking to friends and ignoring clients… She then stuffed 5 people into a compact car! to get us back to the ferry. The cars weather stripping was completely off and tangled around the 5 people in the car. Do yourself a favor and contract with a more professional organization, this one doesn’t care about you only what they can get from you. We met many fine people in Tahaa and its beautiful environment. Unfortunately Tahaa Location was the exception to this and we were very disappointed in their equipment and service.
We had a wonderful full day(9 to ~16:30) doing a self-guided tour around the island. Scooters are new and in great shape so you will not get stranded, a great option for experienced scooter drivers. They take pride in their equipment and taking care of you.
Great place to rent a car on Taha’a. Transparent pricing and no hassles. They picked me up from my villa to take me to their location. Recommend!
5 stars! I have used this company for 2 services and they were both top of the notch! The first was a car rental to go around the beautiful island of Taha'a. The car was brand new and everything was quick and easy. They even came to pick us up from the marina where our boat dropped us off. The second was a boat rental, we were delighted! The captain was fantastic and knew all the best spots. He took us to the most amazing coral garden that we wouldn't have visited otherwise. Highly recommend it!
Wonderful Tyronne the best
Great place to visit, friendly locals
(Translated by Google) We were looking for a package including a round-trip shuttle from Raiatea to Tahaa and a car rental for the day to visit Tahaa on Monday, July 14 (a public holiday). I found Gwenda's page by chance while searching on Google and the price was unbeatable: 17,995 CFP for 5 people (round-trip shuttle and car rental + gas). We recommend it 100%!! On recommande à 100 % !!
