Beautiful winery with galleries, pottery sculptures and a fantastic extended garden as well. Their wine tasting is a ‘help yourself’ arrangement, properly set up, but unusual for untrustworthy old timers like me. But no complaints! There are many wines, of different pricing levels, something for everyone. Friendly staff too.
Happs was an amazing outdoor tasting experience I've never encountered before. Apparently, it's the only outdoor experience in Australia. Over 40 wines on tap, yes, on tap. Including award winning wines, 2012 vintage wines and many others. The variety was fantastic. The gardens are exceptional and clean, hygienic toilets. The local puppy (13yrs) was a very friendly chap. Peter was very welcoming and did a great job as the local wine tour guide.
What an outstanding winery!! Such a beautiful location to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese platter. You can either bring your own picnic, or they have delicious meats, cheeses, chutneys that you can purchase. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The artists who create the art and pottery are very talented. Dogs are welcomed which is fantastic for pooch owners like us. I highly recommend visiting this place whilst in the Margaret Region area.
A visit to Happs Wines is a throwback to the days when down to earth service and a genuine welcome were the norm. The owners bucked the (disappointing) trend and refused to introduce a tasting fee. I reckon everyone should buy a bottle from them for this reason alone. It’s how it should be. Their unique tasting experience is brilliant. You can try as many wines as you like, though it is suggested you “plan your journey.” A tasting at Happs is an experiential, enjoyable affair which can be completed at your own pace and timing. It’s no wonder the tasting area is always full, as opposed to other wineries. For me this is the best winery in the South West. They’ve stayed true to their values and offer a unique tasting experience and an unrivalled level of genuine hospitality.
Visited our favourite winery during our trip to Margaret River and picked up a small haul of Happs White Fuschia, Happs Rosé, and Happs Moscato. The two ladies running the wine tasting were very welcoming and friendly, definitely a must-visit!
We have been to lots of wineries in the area and this is hands down one of our favourites. Beautiful setting, laid back self serve approach to wine tasting. Super friendly staff and dog friendly. Really stood out from the rest for us 🧡
Had a great experience here. Free wine tasting, you can taste 5 types at their outdoor tasting location. It’s overlooking a beautiful garden. Very peaceful and tranquil. They have so many diff types of wines - but the sweet wines really stood out.
Happs is a fabulous experience! It's the total package. Thank you to Pete for making our 3 sisters morning, in mid July, so memorable. The wine is wonderful, with something to please all palates and purses. The outdoor, self serve tastings are the most conveniently, incredible set up that has to be seen to be believed. Then there's the great art work on site as well!

Came here just before their close and it was just amazing. Their wine range was absolutely amazing and their beautiful dog and cat were just an added bonus! So so grateful for Kirsty, she was just so kind, knowledgeable and amazing. The interior was amazing, I just have too many compliments! Would recommend to anyone!!!
Had a lovely wine tasting here. The cellar door has a relaxed atmosphere and the natural / organic wines are all super tasty. Favourite was the Pet Nat. Extra points for the winery dog Hunter who is always up for the cuddles.
Amazing service, very friendly staff. Wines are fantastic and will 100% be back. Added benefit of Hunter (the dog) giving us all the attention while we were tasting the delicious wines.
Quite interesting organic wines with lovely staff explaining the story. Good calm atmosphere where we can relax having tasting with kids playing around.
The best organic winery down in the Margs area - we love the wines they are excellent we order over and over again - the customer service is amazing - particularly Kirsty who did our wine tastings this weekend she explained everything so well and it was an enjoyable relaxing afternoon sitting outside in the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend Blind Corner
Always a lovely tasting experience at Blind Corner! Especially when you get puppy cuddles! Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time with Katy at Blind Corner. We were able to taste almost all the wines in stock and loved every one of them. Katy was super knowledgable and gave us a great insight into the Blind Corner ethos. We were even lucky even to enjoy a glass of wine and a short tour around the facilities. We will definitely be recommending a visit to Blind Corner to anyone who tells us they are going down south!
We were super keen to visit this winery and cellar door and were stoked to squeeze it in on our journey back to Perth early Monday morning. Paul hosted a wonderful informative and genuine tasting, intuitive and relatable. These guys have a fabulous house style and all of the wines are solid and delicious. Put it on your list, it won't disappoint!! We also loved the furry four legged friends that greeted you as you settled into the cellar door. A memorable tasting for sure!
