It’s beautifully designed park, located in outskirts of Taif city. We Visited this park on weekends. It was not crowded and has plenty of open space to sit with your family and friends and spend quality time. It’s a kid friendly park very neat and clean. There is a musical water fountain in the middle of the park which is amazing. Show was started around 8PM. It’s has well designed landscape. To enjoying the beauty of landscape it’s better to reach early around 4PM as the park opens. There are few cafes and food stalls which has fruit juice shops ,chat centers and Saudi coffee or Tea stalls. It has 6 gates. When I visited gate 6 was open other gates were closed. It has mosque and washrooms inside both for men and women. Entry is absolutely free.
One of the beautiful parks in Saudi Arabia having lots of activities and spots to explore. Best place for all age groups. Neat and clean. Well maintained. Toilets are very hygienic. Prayer area available inside the park
This park is truly beautiful. The scenery is peaceful, the greenery is well-maintained, and it's a perfect place to relax or enjoy a walk. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or alone, the natural surroundings create a refreshing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy some quiet time in nature.
An absolutely stunning park with breathtaking aesthetics, combining striking rock formations, and a mesmerizing water fountain show. It’s an incredible place to unwind and take in the beauty, and the double-decker sightseeing bus offers a fantastic way to explore the area. A must-visit destination that exceeds expectations!
It's a wonderful park, full of beautiful trees, very capacious walking track and lot of rides for kids (free also. The rides are basic ones but still good for kids). There is no charge and the park is beautiful
Beautiful place to visit if you have time also visit Al shifa mountain
1. It's a gorgeous place, but it's super crowded. 2. The weather's nice, but some of the grass is fake. 3. The place is huge, and the fountains are pretty. 4. There are tons of shops in the park for food and shopping.
This park is a beautiful one. A beautiful landscape, full of flowers. Walking track and exercise equipment for your fitness. There are two walking bridges also to give you an awesome view of the park. Lot of parking of course free. Some café also there inside and outside. The best thing is the dancing fountains show. There are three dancing foundations shows every day. Starting at 18:30, then at 20:00 and last one at 21:30. You will enjoy the fountain show and atmosphere.

Isolated volcanic crater with a visitor center, a trail to the bottom & desert views from the rim.
Slide 1 of 8
Superb to hike. We camped overnight after hiking down to the crater bottom. Stunning sun rise and great weather in October. We were blessed by a shower towards the evening. It’s a must camp place to get the best of it!
One of the biggest volcanic crater in the world. 3000 meter diameter and 380 meter deep. We went in April 25. Going down was banned after an incident. There is a mosque nearby which remains closed most of the time.
THIS IS THE REASON I WENT TO TAIF and it was absolutely worth it. it is a very strange place in the most beautiful way. the air feels still, and it almost feels like you’re in the middle of the ocean or deep in the woods, it’s got that “nature at it’s most raw and brutal shape” type of feeling. i would recommend traveling during the day when there’s light as the roads are not well lit to the crater, in fact in some parts they’re pitch black. hiking to the bottom requires permission from the police, as it is quite risky unless you’re traveling with the tourism agencies. there aren’t any toilets or stores near the crater, but there are stops on the way to refill and buy supplies. would be a great place for astrophotographers, we were lucky to spot the strawberry full moon on this evening.
Al Wahbah Crater: A Hidden Gem in the Arabian Highlands Nestled about 250 km from Taif, Al Wahbah Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates with its sheer scale and surreal beauty. Formed by a volcanic explosion, this massive crater spans over 2 km in diameter and plunges nearly 250 meters deep. The white salt deposits at its base contrast strikingly with the dark volcanic rock, creating a dramatic landscape that feels almost otherworldly. The drive to the crater is scenic, passing through rugged desert terrain and small villages, making it a perfect escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Whether you're hiking down into the crater or simply enjoying the panoramic views from the rim, the experience is both humbling and awe-inspiring. Facilities are minimal, so it's best to come prepared, but the tranquility and raw beauty of the site more than make up for it. Al Wahbah is a must-visit for anyone exploring the Taif region or looking to uncover Saudi Arabia’s lesser-known natural treasures.
A day trip from Jeddah by car.Once there you have spectacular views of the crater. It's not allowed anymore to go down but you can walk along the rim and enjoy the views.Temperature in December was around 27C at midday. One of the best places to visit in KSA.
Al Wahbah Crater is about a 4-hour drive from Jeddah, and absolutely worth it. A huge volcanic crater with breathtaking views, formed thousands of years ago by an underground explosion. We walked around the rim, the silence and scenery felt magical. The contrast between black lava rocks and white salt crystals is stunning, you feel yourself like on a diffident planet. Tip: wear good shoes, bring water, and go early morning or after 4 pm. Be careful if you are allergic, air contains sodium phosphate crystals, symptoms included skin irritation and respiratory discomfort, which are common in individuals sensitive to such substances. Descending down is not allowed anymore, and it is dangerous to be honest. It is truly a peaceful and unforgettable place!
Al Wahbah Crater, located in Saudi Arabia's western desert on the edge of the Harrat Kishb basalt plateau, is a natural wonder worth visiting for those who appreciate unique landscapes and outdoor adventure. This massive crater, about 2 kilometers wide and 250 meters deep, is believed to have been formed either by volcanic activity or a meteorite impact. The journey to the crater offers an exciting desert experience, with rocky outcrops and vast open spaces. Once you arrive, the stunning views from the rim of the crater are truly breathtaking. The surrounding landscape is stark but beautiful, with a white salt layer at the bottom of the crater, which creates a striking contrast against the black volcanic rock. During the cooler months, visitors can hike down to the crater floor, although it’s a challenging trek that requires good physical fitness and proper gear, particularly for the climb back up. Al Wahbah is a great spot for camping, stargazing, and photography, particularly during sunset and sunrise, when the shadows cast over the crater create a dramatic scene. However, the area is remote, and there are no nearby facilities, so it's important to come prepared with food, water, and supplies. While the crater is off the beaten path, it provides an unforgettable experience for nature lovers, hikers, and those looking to explore Saudi Arabia's diverse geological features. For the more adventurous, it’s an underrated gem that offers a deep sense of solitude and awe-inspiring scenery.
A road is going inside from Makkah road about 100 Km ( more than 1 Hour). It is a single road with no street lights , some part of road us well developed. There are several small villages , shops, tyre shop and petrol stations. On reaching Wabah crater , there is parking lot and a Mosque. If you are nature lover this place is must visit. No shops are there near crater It is recommended to visit in day for best view and safe driving. Use google map for navigation to reach Wabah Crater. My experience was I took my family to crater when we were going to Taif . On our way there was a lot of different types and shapes of mountains especially one was full pitch black. We witnessed a lot of cars on our way driving recklessly, be careful during driving. Wabah Crater is the largest and deepest volcanic crater in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a diameter of 3,000 meters. The white base is made up by sodium phosphate. Al-Wahbah Crater, also known as Maqla Tamiyyah, is a maar crater — a type of volcanic site formed by a phreatic eruption, a violent steam explosion caused by magma interacting with groundwater. The crater, located in the Harrat Kishb basaltic plateau about 270 km northeast of Jeddah, stands out for its immense scale and beauty. Formed about 1.1 million years ago, it measures about 2.3 km in diameter and 250 meters in depth, making it the largest and deepest volcanic crater in Saudi Arabia. Its depth and diameter are significantly larger than the average volcanic crater, and it features a shallow salt lake formed by rainwater accumulation.

Reached there at noon and it was very hot. Get a cap or umbrella. The zoo is very near and clean . Animals are not active due the heat. The dolphin shows starts after 3:30 . So if you want to see the show , set the time accordingly . Children will enjoy it.
Nice place to visit with family. Well-maintained, lots of animals to see, and good for kids to enjoy and learn. The dolphin show highly recommended. Washroom signs are written in Arabic hence some tourists who knows only English might enter by mistake.
A small zoo with a limited number of animals and birds. Circus, snakes, exotic birds and dolphins are individually enclosed with additional entry fees. The general admission is SAR 15 per person. Some rides and cars are also available for those who are interested, of course ticketed separately. Overall it is a good place for a quick fun trip for small children to amuse and get to know some other dwellers of earth. Quite a few shops to buy clothes or candies. Unlike many tourist traps all over the world the prices of icecream, chocolate, and chips etc are the same as they're everywhere else. A Masjid and multiple washrooms are in the enclosure for extreme convenience.
I recently visited Taif Zoo and it was an amazing experience that exceeded all my expectations The beautiful landscape and the well maintained paths created a peaceful environment The variety of animals was impressive from majestic gazelles and graceful ibex to colorful birds and playful primates Each exhibit was thoughtfully designed to mimic natural habitats which allowed the animals to thrive and guests to feel immersed The staff were friendly knowledgeable and attentive offering informative insights and ensuring a safe visit for all children especially enjoyed feeding sessions and interactive areas The shaded seating and picnic spots were perfect for relaxation and the onsite cafe provided refreshing drinks and light snacks The overall atmosphere was serene and educational making it an ideal destination for families nature lovers and photographers alike I highly recommend Taif Zoo to anyone seeking a memorable day surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty and endless adventure
This is very good place to enjoy with your kids. They have all type of animals, reptiles, dolphin and sea lion show. A very neat and clean experience that you can have. They also have adventure park, where you can take multiple rides and enjoy. They have entry ticket, as well as for the water show, you need to buy separate ticket from inside.
It's a good place to visit, especially for children. Visit it after the sunset as you would struggle to see the animals inside the glass canges in sunlight. I would rate the variety of animals 7/10. Parking and cleanliness is adequate. Shops are a little expensive.
The entrance ticket is 15 riyal. Same price for kids. No discount. The birds, reptiles, circus, dolphin, and scary house have separate fees to enter. Sitting bench are very few. Animals were not taken care of. The dog was like going to die at any time. Elephant feet were badly damaged. All the animals were very hungry and they were looking and trying to reach for food in our hands The area for the rides is very expensive as the rides are not that good at all. There were some sellers of cotton candy, balloons, and popcorn. They were following us the whole time until finally we bought popcorn. Only then most of them gave us some space, and few were still by force trying to sell to kids directly. The dolphin show price was 35, even for kids(same price). To take pictures with dolphins, you have to pay 100 riyal extra, small pictures for 75 each. Boat ride with dolphin for 25 each kid (5 seconds ride). Waiting time for the show was 30-45 minutes as people were less. The only good thing was that it was quiet and green (maybe because it was hot )
We went here around morning and it was closed, they didn't update the Eid al-fatr opening. And they said they will open after 1pm. At first my daughter was excited but later on she refused to look at the animals as she cannot see the animals inside the glass cage. Shows are late as well around 4pm

Absolutely loved discovering Cenomi at Jouri Mall in Taif—it’s elegant, spacious, and perfectly placed within one of the city’s premier shopping destinations. The store’s bright layout and helpful amenities reflect the mall’s modern design and commitment to accessibility. With fun entertainment, diverse dining, and plenty of family-friendly options all around, shopping felt more like a full day out than a quick errand. I’d highly recommend stopping by on a weekday for a smooth and enjoyable experience!

One of the finest resort amusement parks in Taif undoubtedly! The traffic can be a bit intimidating on the way to the resort but it’s totally worth it. If you are looking for a family day out, this is it. There are multiple rides for the kids that they can enjoy from. There are also resort cabins that you can stay in while you are here. There are multiple restaurants and cafes available including a local flee market. The Toboggan ride here is a must try and the waiting time can be a lot. But the experience is totally worth the wait. A must try experience if you are in Taif.
Excellent place for tourist, family and kids for folr all aged fun lovers
In Taif, it is one of the most important tourist attractions. Aside from playgrounds for kids and adults, Green Mountain has a huge shopping mall, a variety of fast food outlets, and a variety of drinks, and the 4D / 7D theater, Italian cinema, and multiple places for families to stay, all of which are located in the mountain park Distinctive Green.
Nice resort on top of Hada mountains We tried the Toboggan train which was a fantastic adventure for the family , its 40 riyals per person but can take a child less than 7 with an adult for free .. An amusement park is there with different rides and awesome mountain side scenery Try to go early like 4 pm or before so there will be no rush
One of the finest park resorts in Taif. We went to experience the Toboggan Ride here. It was a wonderful experience for us. Rate is a bit high compared to the time for one ride (5-6 mins max for 1 ride). Price is 35 riyals for 1 adult + 1 kid. There are many other rides also here for kids. You can spend quality time with family here. We didn't access the resort facility. So I've no idea about that.
A theme park called The Green Mountain Park is situated on Taif's Alhada Road. The park's greenery is incredibly calming in the midst of Taif's deserts. Families with young children likes visiting the Green Mountain Park. Entry is free but you have to purchase 100 SAR card for fun rides for your kids.
Great experience Rides were a little expensive but we enjoyed specially kids enjoyed alot, Extreme cold weather was one factor contributing to the awesomeness of this place, There are chalets also, two bed bath and kitchen, Must stop by while going to Taif

Nature area with a kids' playground & picnic spots around a small dam, plus seasonal streams.
Slide 1 of 8
Nice place to visit especially with kids as there are different types of birds and animals are available. this place is neither too small nor too big to go around.typically, an hour is sufficient to go around the zoo comfortably. Apart from this there is a section for kids to play, which has different rides and its ticket has to be purchased separately.
Saysed National Park has a historical dam which was built almost 1000 years back in the tenure of Hazrat Ameer Muaeeya R.A which was renovated by King Fahd almost 25 years back. The dam is scenic sight to spend calm moments. It’s said that during rainy season, it’s a good swimming spot with shallow water but in summer it has almost dried up to puddle! Vast area of rest of the park are bushes and small trees with intervening vacant plane areas having swings for children, where families can have picnic! Those are ideal spots with shades for making barbecue and bonfire! There is an occasional cafe also with good sitting arrangement under open sky during night. Toilet facilities are also available there. Ideal place to visit with family and enjoy sunrise, sunset, barbecue or bonfire! Disclaimer: I am not sure whether bonfire is allowed or prohibited but I didn’t saw any warning or prohibition sign.
This place is located in taif. It is a type of jungle. There are lots of dogs i saw i went there yesterday. The place also has many places inside the where public can sit and enjoy or people can camp here too. This place is also gud for adventures. You can find places like river is natural waterfall too.
if you're searching for a haven to spend your evenings in a delightful and serene atmosphere, look no further. This hidden gem is a highly recommended place.
A different experience in Saudi Arabia. You have a Dam inside National Park, which is one of the oldest dam in KSA. Nice place to hang out with family & friends. Make sure you carry food, snacks with you. No shops nearby.
The place was not as green as it shows everywhere on google but it’s still pretty tho. The lake is not that big also. Probably they will have only more water when it rains and what I know rain in Saudi is like once a year only. Lots of dogs. They closed the gate to enter the lake so I had to jump off the gate. To get nice picture and I did it
Feels like in America 🥶 how I wish to spend more time exploring this place 😊 so if would given a chance, I will surely come again.
It could have been better than this. Actually it's very easy. Just get money at the entrance and make the place more vivid. Currently no facility at all. You can only park your car somewhere and eat the food you bring.

Al‑Sharif Museum offers an immersive and authentic snapshot of Taif’s past—blending historical artifacts, craft demonstrations, and beautiful traditional architecture. Ideal for anyone looking to understand the region’s heritage beyond the usual tourist trail. Entry ticket sar 20 per person.
I visited Al Shareef Museum in Taif not too long ago and was really impressed. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the displays are full of fascinating antiques and local history. There’s also a small shop with lovely souvenirs and a few quiet areas where you can sit and take it all in. A wonderful place to visit if you’re in Taif!
A national museum located in Taif Governorate within a large public building measuring 5000 square meters and containing a very large collection of heritage pieces of all kinds and their functions and material, which represents the heritage of the Taif region. The attention and care of the owner of the museum was shown through the development of his wings and the coordination of the pieces by showing them by specialization and function, where he created a small market within the museum, is a group of stalls or shops and make every shop for a particular craft and added to it the tools and machines that belong to that craft, It has also allocated halls for each group, As the weapons of swords, rifles, daggers and spears in the Hall alone, As well as coffee tools in their designated place, and cooking utensils in place and farming tools. Women’s clothing and ornaments…. etc. The museum is one of the most distinctive and important museums in the kingdom, if not the largest. Recommended.
Nice experience they even a small shop at the exit where u can buy a few of the actual stuff seen in the museum. They also have awesome acrylic keychains with real baby scarpions in them
Can’t belive I never heard of this place. One of the loveliest museums in the region. It has antiques and some scenery of old Saudi life. Many artifacts relating to Saudi life of old in addition to real products from the time. I really had fun and the staff are super welcoming. The only issue is lack of English definitions on some tablets but it was truly a fun experience specially for young kids and tourists.
The exhibits were exceptionally well-curated and presented, offering a captivating journey through the rich history and cultural heritage of the region. I was particularly impressed by [mention something specific you enjoyed or found impactful, e.g., "the detailed display on ancient agricultural practices," "the interactive elements that engaged visitors of all ages," "the collection of traditional Taif artifacts The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, enhancing my visit with their helpfulness and passion for the exhibits. Their dedication to creating an enriching environment was evident throughout. It's clear that a great deal of thought and effort has gone into making the museum a true asset to Taif. Such a well-maintained and engaging cultural institution plays a vital role in preserving our heritage and educating both residents and visitors. Thank you again for providing such a memorable and insightful experience. I look forward to visiting again soon and highly recommend it to others.
Very average. Visit only if you have ample amount of time. Avoid if you are in rush tour.
This museum has a very vast collection of antique items belonging to different eras of hum history. The collection is not specific to Saudi Arabia’s national history but it do contains valuable items related to Saudi Arabic lifestyle. It’s highly recommended for as an educational activity for children who are studying science, social studies, etc. in early grades. It’s not crowded it all and the parking is easy to get.
