Park
Nature & Parks
Rugged forest nature preserve known for dramatic rock formations & over 150 protected plant species.

Fantastic place. You can reach the entrance by bus from the city. Average physical fitness is necessary. The air full of oxygen and smells of taiga helps to overcome the rise of at least 7 km and at the end you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the mountains and forests from the top of one of the rocks. Along the way there are some stations where you can have drink or snack. If your physical form allows, you can continue your walk to the next rock formations.
Worth a visit if staying in Krasnoyarsk. Good views and trails through the mixed boreal forests.
Excellent place, amazing views! Must see!
Superb winter hiking experience ❤️
Good view & fresh air.
Great place for hiking!!! Don’t miss it if you’re at Krasnoyarsk!!!
Excellent place outside of Krasnoyarsk to get away from the city, and into nature.
One of the best experience in Krasnojarsk. A wonderful natural park!

A famed city landmark, this small, octagonal tower on a hill contains a Russian Orthodox chapel.

The best view over the city. The small chapel, which was build in the 17th century. The staff of the chapel are very friendly and keep the place clean. Everyone who visit Krasnoyarsk must be here.
Amazing quiet place. Beautiful Church. At the top of the hill we can see the view of the city🙂. Love it.
A fantastic view of Krasnoyarsk and a lovely chapel. A must for visitors to this city.
Best of all to see it in sunset or at night - magnificent view. Also in small trailers underneath they sell the best hot chocolate in town - rich and not too sweet.
Pictures and peacefull place, chapel is working as well

Outdoor Activities
This modern ski resort with winter ice skating also offers rides & other activities in the summer.

Very nice park. There are a lot of activities. You can visite alone or with family and friends
This place has a nice cafe located inside, good quality of food as well as ambience. Go on the weekends and there are more options available because the park ONLY opens on the weekends. I was disappointed when I went on Monday I couldn't sit the rides.
Friendly staff, good service. Tasty food and rich menu
Very nice view. Cafe on the top.
Good snow and very well organised for ski rental. Only a few chairlift but it wasn't too crowded. Friendly people willing to help my stranded daughter halfway up/down the hill...thanks Boris! There was a tiny beginner slope but next options were quite a step up, which caught us out. But a great day out.
Very nice place during summer - we took the chairlift and the views from the city and the Stolby Nature Reserve were amazing up there!
Great view and wonderful restaurant - I have never tried Siberian food so delicious. Service is great and friendly.
It was not fully open, but still nice. Looking forward to come during the season

Family-friendly zoo with various animals including sharks & rare plants plus several playgrounds.

A good place to spend a weekend with children. wide exposure of animals. periodic public feeding of animals. a terrarium, a large aquarium (entry fee is included in the entrance ticket).
Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Yenisei River in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, the Gorodskoy Park Flory I Fauny Royev Ruchey, more commonly known as Royev Ruchey Flora and Fauna Park, stands as a remarkable testament to biodiversity and conservation efforts. Spanning a vast area, this renowned zoo and botanical garden offers a captivating escape into the natural world. Royev Ruchey is home to an impressive array of animal species, from majestic Siberian tigers and polar bears to playful primates and exotic birds, all housed in spacious, well-maintained enclosures designed to mimic their natural habitats. Beyond its diverse animal collection, the park boasts beautiful botanical gardens, showcasing a wide variety of flora, including both local Siberian plants and species from around the globe. Visitors of all ages can enjoy educational exhibits, interactive displays, and vibrant landscapes, making it a popular destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The park plays a crucial role in wildlife conservation, participating in various breeding programs for endangered species and promoting environmental awareness. Royev Ruchey isn't just a park; it's a living classroom and a vital sanctuary for the world's incredible flora and fauna.
The only zoo in Krasnoyarsk has no ramps or any other possibilities for visitors with child in a baby stroller nor for disabled people in the wheelchairs. Plastic mobile toilet cabins looks so weird and wretchedly for the stationary park.
Can someone please tell me the name of this plant I saw in the park?
So special zoo, I like the nature ,its so clean ,so nice place ,i advice to visit it

What an interesting place! Definitely worth a wander through, and in a great location for lunch after or a walk by the river.
Cheap ticket and some interesting pieces about natives of Siberia and traditional local life. There are some explanations in English. If you are in Krasnojarsk, spend an hour to visit this museum
It explains well the indigenous cultures that lived here and what happened to them. The museum itself has a lot of potential, but should get more financing.
Old fashion museum, interesting collection. Something astounding, something unexplicable. Too much mixed stuff. (Reading the description I would be fascinated by an old fashion museum with too mixed stuff)
The building is beautiful, but the exhibits are confusing, with little information, no English translation and presented without a logical order.
A bit old-fashioned , only worth visiting if you have time left in Krasno
Far too much for one visit, but very interesting.

I my favourite rasiya
Great museum, must see in Krasnoyarsk. It is like a travel back in time, very interesting to see how people used to live more than a hundred years ago. There is not much original works of the great artist though. We took individual tour and it looked like a little swindle from the cashier at first. That's why I didn't give them 5 stars. The guide was very good once we got the tour.

(Translated by Google) Cozy and small museum. Actually, the second floor is about creativity and there are a number of paintings by the artist. And the first floor is about life in the 19th and early 20th centuries. There was a very good caretaker on the first floor who told us some nice details about the exhibition. Tickets are cheap. Not many people The main discovery is that Nikita Mikhalkov is the great-grandson of Surikov. The entire museum is surrounded by a large wooden fence, entering the gates of the museum, you feel as if you are being transported back to the 19th-20th century. On the territory there is a main house, a bathhouse, a barn and a couple of other buildings made / restored in the style of the times when Surikov himself lived there. The guides will tell you in detail about everything you ask, they are real professionals in their field, a ticket costs about 100 rubles, and there are also benefits for pensioners and students. Of course, there are few paintings there, but there are tools (brushes, paints, etc.) with which Surikov painted his masterpieces. I advise you to go! (Translated by Google) It was our first time with a 2 year old child. The administrator warned that the baby might get scared, so it is not recommended for such little ones. But I took full responsibility on myself, because we are not the shy ones 💪 We spent two and a half hours exploring everything around us. I really liked everything! The child explored everything with pleasure and was surprised. I liked the attitude of the staff: they carefully monitored the order, took us to the toilet if necessary and allowed us to return to the same place where we stopped (according to the rules of the park, movement is only possible forward, you cannot return / for children there are small exceptions to the rules - this is very cool !) We enjoyed losing our balance in the halls with special gravity Lost in the maze. Two years ago with friends, it was not difficult for us to find a way out, but with the baby we got lost 😂 and were tired of looking for a way out. We wandered around in the maze for about 15/20 minutes, and if the child didn’t want to eat, we probably would have walked there for another hour. Overall, the impression is very positive, a lot of emotions! Thank you to the organizers and sensitive staff 😘😍😍 (Original)

The cost of the ticket does not limit you in time, even if you can stay all day, there are bonuses from the park after leaving a review, and a discount on the next visit from old tickets. Most impressive were the upside-down room, the bridge over the rotating tunnel, and the illusion room. I also liked the sound installation of pipes with slippers and drums. In general, there are many locations, both children and adults will find a lot of interesting things for themselves. The Slick Labyrinth is really a labyrinth, it’s hard to get through the first time. The staff is young and friendly. Overall, I definitely recommend this park for visiting!! )

(Translated by Google) To go for the first time, you need to have a child of 7-8 years old. This age is perhaps the most suitable. Although it was very interesting for me at 34 years old. A mirror maze, a room with broken gravity, lots of entertainment based on the laws of physics. For me, a humanist, it was like I was in a magical land: it was inexplicable and it worked! Even going to the toilet was informative thanks to signs with historical facts. I was left with good impressions. Thank you.
(Translated by Google) Children can go there endlessly. However, this is a blow to parents' wallets. There are no discounts for regular customers. They ask where your old tickets are. Naturally, it is rare to keep them until next time. Many more would gladly use the service of accompanying a child without parents. Otherwise, this is a harsh taking of money from parents without updating the exhibitions. Shuttled between Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk and Minusinsk. On this ship, on July 1, 1891, Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich, the future Emperor of Russia Nicholas II, arrived in Krasnoyarsk from the village of Berezovskoye (according to museum employees, the Tsarevich was wounded and the steamer was used to more quickly cross the future Tsar across the Yenisei). After the October Revolution of 1917, the ship was renamed Nikolai. In 1960 the ship was sent to the ship graveyard. In 1970, the ship was restored. Currently used as a museum ship. The exhibition area is 300 m². You should only come for one reason. The wonderful museum staff will not only tell you the whole history of the steamship in vivid colors, but will also strongly recommend that you sit in the captain’s cabin, sit at the helm, let the steam come out of the chimney and ring the signal bell.

Wonderful place to walk through!
Usual building. Nothing special

The only thing is that, in my opinion, the Arc de Triomphe should be erected on the occasion of some high-profile event, a truly important date or, in fact, an incredibly significant event for the city. I can demonstrate ignorance, but, in my opinion, in 2003 there was nothing like this for Krasnoyarsk. UPD. After reconstruction it looks like a toy. Two points. UPD.

Krasnoyarsk is a city on the Yenisei River in Siberia, Russia. On the river’s left bank, Central Park Gorky has a children’s train, carnival rides and statues of writers Maxim Gorky and Alexander Pushkin. To the north, the 19th-century Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel offers city views atop Karaulnaya Hill. South of the city center, Stolby Nature Sanctuary is home to volcanic rock pillars ("stolby") and sprawling forests.

Beautiful place, looks like palace!
The former theater was better
Nice Russian theatre
(Translated by Google) We attended the play “He, She, Window and Body”. Disinfection measures are observed, everyone sits next to each other. The performance is interesting, with a vintage touch from the 70s. The costumes are bright, the music is well chosen, and there is pleasant, relaxed humor. It was very nice to finally visit the theater. You cannot take photographs of the performance, and you also need to turn off the sound. On the second floor there is a small exhibition with playwrights and the theater’s repertoire over the years, period costumes and actors’ awards.
(Translated by Google) Shock and regret at the wasted time and money after the play "Dangerous Liaisons" 🤬! The striptease on stage is uninteresting, the flying bed under the ceiling is terrifying, the jokes about the characters' genitals are not funny!!! How is this play and the director who has been staging it for 8 years running in such a large Siberian city? Does the regional minister of culture even know what a disgrace they're "performing" here? I feel sorry for the actors; they can't protest against the director and the stage manager!!! Have you ever heard the phrase: "In the theater, anything is possible except vulgarity and boredom"?! Entertaining audiences isn't the worst thing. Being vulgar, meaningless, and empty—that's truly bad. The worst thing is when neither the creators nor the audience can answer the simplest question: why? Surely they could change directors at least once every few years! So many people left after the first act! We were there on May 15, 2025, but it would have been better if we had just been drinking tea at home!
(Translated by Google) I liked the performance - no worse than before. But you need to evaluate the theater 🎭 from the beginning, that is, from the hanger. Visited for the first time after renovation. The curtain is new, the lighting equipment is good. But! The hall itself has undergone only cosmetic renovation, and not the best! The slope of the hall is small, which is why there are problems with visibility of the stage. The distance between the rows is so small that only everyone nearby can enter and exit (or make a “wave” like at the stadium 🏟 😝). 900 rubles is too expensive for such amenities. Although, art is priceless... We specially went to the balcony (price 150 rubles). This is tough! The seating area was removed towards the end of the performance, although there are cushions on the seats for ease of viewing. It is impossible to watch, just as it is impossible to sit. Only the first row and the second (moving into the gap between the people in the 1st row) will be able to enjoy the views. The rest - just listen 👂I will go for the love of the theater, but objectively the hall is uncomfortable, the descent and ascent to the wardrobe are not thought out - the stairs are narrow (people rush up both stairs, both down and up), after the performance there is a traffic jam in front of the “neck of the bottle”. And also, in my opinion, a completely meaningless pile of stones behind glass as a folk heritage😱. Buffet (for information): Armenian cognac 100ml 350 rub.! If anything, in the store this is a maximum of 1000 per bottle! The markup is almost 300%.
(Translated by Google) Having visited the theater building, I can say that it brings joy to the viewer and the actor. I won’t talk about the repertoire because it’s difficult to judge based on one performance. Modern equipment respects the classic spectator space. Stunning staircase to the second floor, high ceilings. It’s convenient to watch the performance from any place in the hall, the hall itself is very cozy, maybe the secret is in the soft chairs) Behind the stage there are modern office premises, dressing rooms, workshops, etc. Lighting and sound equipment according to the latest standards. The general impression is an old building with new opportunities) (Original)

In my nine years in Krasnoyarsk, this was my place of peace. When home or work or cafes or any other public places offered no solace, this was my go to place to think, and to reason. And I will remember it fondly, always. Unlike other churches this one, with its old wooden windows, uneven floor and rough plaster work felt ageless and authentic.
